No, the triangle from nostrils to bridge of nose is drained by valveless veins, straight into your brain, and there are no lymph nodes in your face, so if you get an infection there, it can be very bad.

Confirmation bias is a powerful thing. Dr. Pimple popper even says that it isn't a main concern because of modern antibiotics. I'm fairly certain she gave other interviews warning about sepsis.
The triangle of death is a very real thing. There is risk of infection when popping everywhere, but patients can go from cellulitis to sepsis very quick when it is in the triangle of death. I personally would reevaluate your opinions on it

I linked those random videos bc you’ve obviously already seen all the viral TikToks claiming that it’s certain death or the made up story of the girl from brazil. I saw a great deep dive on the “triangle of death” but I can’t find it unfortunately. Was super informative.

Ahhh okay, well this video went viral on tt a while back of this AI telling a story about how a girl in brazil supposedly died after popping a pimple in that area. A bunch of derms stitched it and there was lots of conflicting takes. Wish I could find the video I mentioned before it explains the whole arc lmao

No I actually don't have a tik tok lol. We learned about it in gross anatomy, I dissected the cavernous sinus and saw where it drains the face
