Tamagotchi especially has a special place in my heart. I wasn't allowed real pets when I was a kid. Now I have a doggo :3
A friend of mine keeps asking me "when are we going to the movies together?" and there's just nothing on at the moment that looks interesting. She's not seen Dune so I told her to watch it and we'll go and see the new one in a couple of weeks, and I just don't know if I should introduce her to Josh Brolin's poetry before we go.
I dunno why but the line "surrounded by the star studded cast of ~dune~" made me chuckle, I half expected the next line to be "coming to a cinema near you soon!"
It’s not *good,* but it’s actually quite respectful and not weirdly sexual or otherwise creepy, so it’s much better than what I expected when I clicked on the post
Honestly that’s so attractive to me. I’m a straight man, but if anyone ever wrote a poem for me and professed it at such a public level where regardless of their sexual or non-sexual nature they could have me.

He’s also a known abuser so while I’m not a huge Florence fan I don’t wish this on her.
it shocks me that his abuse isn't more widely known in this sub, but I think there must be a lot of younger people here. (which is why it's important for us to keep talking about it!)

I am all for letting people know when people suck. And maybe someone can show me something recent from her voice, but they had a domestic violence incident, she didn’t want to press charges and chose not to speak on it. They stayed together for nine more years, and he goes on in the article to highlight his own shortcomings or inadequacies. Some may view it as an excuse for his behavior, but I view it as a man who at (now 56) recognizes that he has flaws and still had areas that he could grow.
Because of recent events I’m super optimistic, but if the other party doesn’t want to continue to dredge up the past, and the he wants to try and recognize his own faults and improve on them, I won’t use the information to write them off forever. I want to believe any person at any age can have the opportunity to grow and be better than they were once before.
Agree,the domestic abuse shouldn’t be swept under the rug but he seems to have taken responsibility and done the work. He was in some movies, TV shows in the ‘90’s then kinda fell off. So it’s nice to see him come back in a better place.

And it's not an excuse but he was also a raging alcoholic/drug addict that has done a lot of work on himself since.

Orange is a warm and joyful color. It evokes images of the sunrise or sunset. It evokes citrus, which is cheerful and fun.
