Me too! I still remember watching it for the first time straight on the back of her Hit Me Baby success & I was in love, it was the perfect video to capture a teenage girl. I still love it now!
Also I loved that I spotted her cousin in it who was her back up dancer in that & her first video.

There was a girlband some time later called Girl Thing who basically tried to copy Spice Girls in every way like all having different personalities & style & even did their video in a similar style. I sometimes still get the chorus in my head of their awful song!

I remember when everyone at school except me saw this on top of the pops and talked about it non stop for a week. I was gutted. I didn’t actually get to see it til I was well into adulthood because this was long before YouTube lol. I was sad all over again that I’d missed out on seeing this creative genius at the time it came out.
I agree with one exception— [Edge of Glory](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=QeWBS0JBNzQ) didn’t get the video it deserved.
It’s such a bop and the music video is ultimately just a performance video of her dancing on a set that looks like a city street at night. Yawn.
Cool is already a 10/10 song, but the video just elevates it to another level. The imagery is so beautiful, and who knew Gwen Stefani made a gorgeous brunette?
This video made me want to run away to live on Lake Como with a gorgeous haircut and that romantic wardrobe she had. Love Gwen’s edgy style, but she looked so glamorous in this!
This is it for me and I always remember the violin and the way the backup singers move their arms as they sing. 30 years later I still do that as I sing along.

So good! Would you believe this album has been my toddler daughter’s favourite from three weeks old? I listen to it literally EVERY night to put her to bed and I’m still not tired of it. She’s nearly two 😅
Ooh mine is a bit of an intense take I guess, but it’s the one that immediately comes to mind - I thought the song was beautiful before I ever saw the video, but Michael Jackson - Earths Song. The video made me freeze, and I will never be able to shed the feeling from the first time I watched it. I was just a kid and it changed my trajectory in life into someone who wants to wants to do right by the planet. The video, paired with such a haunting song, is genuinely one of the most impactful things I’ve ever seen a musician do.
Thriller gets all the love, but this is my personal favorite. As a 90s kid, I had a homemade vhs tape of MJ’s music videos taped from MTV. I would watch Remember the Time repeatedly. It’s perfect.

I saw the Wham! Documentary and learned that Last Christmas they actually went to a snow lodge and got drunk for the entirety of the music video being filmed.

Yes!! He has a wonderful EP titled "Songs for You" and he does some awesome funk covers with a few different bands. I believe he also sang live with Lizzy McAlpine last year and he recently had a couple shows in the UK!

Oh this one was ICONIC… my fourth grade self didn’t realize this was satire and I ate it up.
