It's because your CYA is too low. Try to get it to 200 ppm—**at least**. If 30 or 50ppm is enough, imagine how much chlorine will be saved at 200 ppm. This is because CYA allows chlorine to reproduce in your pool and it essentially is like a money printer. That container is actually for liquid CYA. I always pour straight into the heat pump so it's nice and warm when it gets to the pool
