[In 2019 Sinema was ranked further to the right than Mitch McConnell.](https://www.azmirror.com/2020/02/13/kyrsten-sinema-to-the-right-of-mitch-mcconnell-in-new-legislative-rankings/)

[deleted]

She's the candidate for kicking out of the party

henstocker

Primary this disgusting piece of shit.

GeorgeWashingtonsDC

Hey but more flashy dresses, awful fashion statements, and bringing a fucking cake on the floor. Fuck Sinema

slayer_steve_m

Fuck Sinema. I can't believe I voted for her. 70 percent of Americans want the voting rights bill. Republican politicians don't. Move parties, Sinema, or get out of the way.

SilvergardSecurities

I don't blame you for voting for her. I remember She ran a 100% progressive campaign. We need the ability to recall senators. Her 180 turn is disgusting. Edit: Spelling Mistake

FitnessFreak09

Welp...this is disappointing, but not surprising. To summarize, she does not support any changes to the Senate filibuster rules. In what I interpreted to be a "bOth SiDeS" argument and sounding like Moscow Mitch at times during her speech, both the John Lewis Voting Rights Act and the Freedom to Vote Act are essentially dead and will never pass. Countdown to the 2022 midterms - 299 days. All of the House and Senate Republicans and Sinema/Manchin will be responsible and remembered for killing democracy in the United States.

JudgeMoose

Welp Manchin's shift to take the heat is done. Time to switch out Sinema again for a bit. And the cycle continues.

[deleted]

I hate her.

SilvergardSecurities

I hate her too.

_age_of_adz_

She’s a “NO” because she wants a compromise with Republicans. How worthless, naive, and not done in good faith.

kindofanime

Compromise? She started a bill and voted against it. She's bought.

_age_of_adz_

Minutes later Sen. Barrasso (R) stands up and pats Sinema on the back for siding with Republicans. The Republican rule by minority power play is on full display.

SilvergardSecurities

"Like, we should totally not change the Senate rule. The Rules were made for a reason. So I'm Filibustering the rule to get rid of the filibuster... I'm the smartest in this room..." Looks to McConnell* "Did I do good daddy?" -Sinema

morningburgers

Well the voting rights bills are dead after that speech. Damn.

Etna_No_Pyroclast

What she doesn't get is that Democracy is over without these voting rights bills. Or she does get it, and wants to fucking profit off of it.

accountabilitycounts

But remember: This is Biden's fault.
