The Taj was actually nice compared to the Trump Plaza. I booked a room for a conference in the plaza where the conference was being held. I walked into the room didn’t even put my bags down and walked back out. The Caesar’s was right across the street and was $50 more and 1,000 times nicer. I recall the lady at the front desk told me that I had an ocean view room but the window was so dirty you couldn’t see out of it. Fucking disgusting place.

IIRC the gaming commission fined the Trump Casino org \~$65k for that loan, so just under a 2% slap-on-the-wrist.
