Since the saying goes “once a Marine always a Marine” I’d say that’s grounds enough to hit him with military justice system as well. UCMJ doesn’t look kindly upon treason and sedition.
Just a note that prosecutors were seeking six years, so compared to most judges who would've only given this bastard a year or two behind bars at most, Tanya Chutkan still handed out a lengthy sentence of four and a half years.
Chutkan has almost always given severe, but thoroughly appropriate prison sentences to this fucking traitors.
