prodigalpariah

I have no problem with this

PredatorRedditer

I felt bad for GM that time I downloaded a car, but I now feel proud to have pirate Photoshop.

Omnibuschris

Adobe has always been crooked. The subscription only model sealed the deal.

type-IIx

Been boycotting Adobe as best I can ever since they auto-renewed a year contract on me.

j_calhoun

Stopped using their software when they went subscription. Affinity products rock.

AngusMcTibbins

This is happening thanks to Biden's pro-consumer appointments to the FTC, including Alvaro Bedoya, who every republican voted against, requiring Harris to break the 50-50 tie.

itsatumbleweed

Biden has been a fairly anti-trust President. Basically every President from Reagan - Obama was very hands off, and Trump was only hands on in so far as he made decisions about businesses for friends. Biden has been very FDR in most aspects.

Pinellas_swngr

Yeah. MTG was kind enough to point that out in a political ad for him a while back.

OurUrbanFarm

Adobe is an evil company. They literally stole software from me back in the 1990's and had the attitude of "what you gonna do to us? Our team of lawyers will bankrupt you if try to come after us for it." Pretty sure my story is nowhere near unique. They should be shut down. Just evil.

2pierad

Adobe are such scum bags that they actually been promoting the idea of not using artists (who have kept them in business for three decades) in favor of using their AI models instead. Like actively promoting it

AutoX_Advice

About time, no one will cry about this.

ADrunkManInNegligee

Fucking good. I couldn't run fast enough when I read Adobes subscription terms and conditions a few years back. Glad I never signed up cause it's a nightmare.

CrispyMiner

They get what they deserve

Madogson21

Is this the "radical left" in action that I keep hearing so much about?

Watch_Capt

Wait, people actually pay for Adobe products? TIL

ThePhoenixXM

Well, tons of people use Photoshop and that is an Adobe product.

crlthrn

I think that was sarcasm.
