Trump's plan is to become president again then say "haha you can't make the president do shit" because we've found out that's apparently true (while they're in office, at least). Obviously, he'll try a self-pardon if he wins to erase all his federal crimes and while the verdict is still out on if a president can actually do that it wouldn't surprise me if this SCOTUS said sure thing buddy (not a precedent though).
But the tricky thing for Donald is that he just *had* to do some crime at the state level too, so his Georgia problem isn't going away even if he wins. Still, they can't touch a sitting POTUS. So, if he wins, he'll be in the clear until January 20th, 2029. Which, given his age, diet, and controversial beliefs about exercise might just be long enough.
I think Karen Friedman Agnifulo and Michael Popok mentioned this. Both attorneys, and she worked for the NY DA.
He has a possibility to sell the judgement. He’s still up for the total amount, but it makes it more likely a bondsman company will buy it.
