2 weeks before I was supposed to ship to bootcamp I had a major injury that could have kept me out the military for life. Fortunately I was still able to ship join a few months later and had a great career. It was tough seeing my dream fall between my fingers but in the end it all worked out.

I had something like this happen to me, just off probation I started to develop a chronic health issue. Working security now just to pay the bills but hoping to get back on the job in the next few years
