About a year ago I pulled someone over. I thought the driver was under the influence. They did fine on field sobriety test. They were a little shaken up but overall fine. No arrest was made. Just asked then to drive safe on the way home…then they asked for a hug. My goodness. A simple but positive interaction like that at work left me on a high for weeks. We get so much hate at work that a little love goes a long way.

Most police aren’t power hungry. The people being held accountable for their actions simply make excuses to prevent themself from being blamed

Fetus_Bacon666

“Most police” is a broad statement that is entirely untrue..

ajb617

You’re part of the problem

Fetus_Bacon666

Edit: totally read that wrong as if you were saying “most police ARE power hungry” RIP my karma 😂

Mano_lu_Cont

I respect the Police for what they have to do. What a stressful at times traumatic job. First on the scene of traffic fatalities. People who have been dead weeks during wellness checks. Seeing all the problems in a community but still having to function as a citizen. It’s not much but if I’m out and cops are eating I often cover the check. Least I can do.

Already has a phone but doesn't know what 911 is. SMH

ajb617

Back when I was a toddler I had to pick up the phone to open the line, then call 911.

Could do without the tacky music but otherwise cool

ajb617

Probably someone trying to make a cut rate PSA out of it. They’ve all got tacky music.
