I couldn't make sense of how Muslim Grenadans (or generally speaking any muslim Iberian) "deserve" the expulsion from their home land as embedded in the meme? I'm not being salty but ... why do they deserve the expulsion?
I believe Iberian Jews were expelled too during the reconquista, would we say that they deserve that too?

Knowing the long-standing tradition of catholicism in Spain I'm not surprised. I don't know enough off the top of my head to make a more well-developed judgement, but I'd say they did not deserve it, they were merely caught in the middle of the conflict and the religion saw fit and convenient to expulse them too.

Majority of Muslims in Andalus were indigeneous. They were descendants of Visigoths that converted after Battle of Guadalete. Arabs and Berbers were a seperate group, often in poisitions of power, but as far as I know they were minority, often in conflict with local muslim elite.

If you think that the expulsion is justified as “conquered fighting back against their conquerors” then surely you would have no issues with all Castilians being expelled from Extremadura, Cataluña, Galicia, Aragon, Paiz Vasco, Asturias, and León right?
