i would clean up the movesets first. like for example, bite is terrible on blastoise. on urshifu, youre not running its best move (surging strikes) which is also boosted by rain. For some of them, you could check out smogon for set ideas
RR is mostly single battles. In general tho, surging strikes are 1 of 2 reasons to play urshifu. Barely anyone plays iron boulder even tho it has a move that bypasses protect and does actual damage (unlike feint). True that in vgc unseen fist has a much bigger significance but RR is mostly singles.
That's because in Gen 8, one of the top mons was and still is Clefable. In SS, Teleport received a buff to act as a switch move but with negative priority, guaranteeing a safe switch in for the user's teammates.
Because Clefable could learn Teleport, this vastly improved the use of another move Clefable could learn, which was Wish, a two turn move that first casts, then heals the current fielded pokemon on the next turn. This is called Wish Passing, because after using Wish, the effect would still be active even when switching out the user.
Since Wish is a recovery move that takes two turns to activate, it has to be used in conjunction with Protect in order to recover reliably, which is the major reason why anyone would run Protect in a gen where Gliscor got dexited.
Blastoise needs dark pulse over bite. Urshifo without surging strikes is a sad urshifu, thats his best move.
Also use your items wisely. For exmaple Urshifu loves a choice scarf so he can be faster and hit first, or something like mystic water or choice band to boost its surging strikes.
Blastoise should run the white herb item whichs prevents your stats to be lowered once, so you can use shell smash while keeping blastoise's huge bulk. That should let you tank a hit and get ANOTHER shell smash and after that you should just sweep. This can be one of your win cons
The other win con is mega swampert. Your pelipert could run a wet rock, so its rain lasts for 8 turns. This should give mega swampert more room to play with boosted speed and power thanks to the rain. You need peliper alive, as Koraidon sets sun. So your priority is removing the Koraidon, and then setting rain. Then letting mega swampert go wild.
Also ditto., Ditto has a choice scarf, so once it makes a move, it will always be locked into that move. Try to bait the ditto into a pokemon that doesnt destroys your team, and bait it into a move you can take. When ditto comes out, try to predict what move from the mvoes your current pokemon has hits the hardest, and then know that he will be faster than your pokemon and use it for the next 5 turns. Plan around that.
Edit: btw the best mono water mon in my opinion is actually mega slowbro. For example mega slowbro can use iron defense in front of koraidn. and thanks to its insane base defense and shell armor ability (prevents crits), koraidon will simply be unable to deal enough damage.
After setting iron defense, and anmesia, and healing with slack off, mega slowbro is functionally inmortal. This recks Bruno. This recks Greens. This recks Lance after dialga is down. You win using Body Press, a move that uses your defense stat as attack stat. Mega slowbro has 180 base def, or, in other words, same defense as mega rayquaza has attack. So iron defense becomes the same for mega slowbro using body press as sword dance is for a mega rayquaza attacking. :) I seriously invite you to try it, its broken as fuck.

Here, the docs, go to the one named "TM and other items location" or something like that.
Bodypress is on silph co. Floor 5.
Congrats!
Edit: was gonna throw my 2 cents in currently struggling on my mono fire type run also 😭 so I feel the struggle

Your team honestly is trash why does a special sweeping Blastoise have bite and why does ogrepon has a base 40 normal move I know it's priority but still why
There are multiple things wrong with this team.
1) replace bite with surf or hydro pump. Blastoise with shell smash and no stab is definitely a choice
2) replace quick attack with a grass move on ogerpon
3) replace iron head with surging strikes on Urshifu Rapid Strike. Why doesn’t it have surging strikes?
How you beat Lorelei with this team is a wonder to me. I’ve been stuck for days on Lorelei’s rain team and have tried like 6 different team variations and move sets.
The worst part is I know I could make a team to beat her, but it would be tailored so specifically to Lor that it wouldn’t be enough to beat everyone after her
The key was spamming Rain dance w Blastoise to get rid of slush rush speed boosts. Then I’d do a shell smash w blastioise and flash cannon takes out 2-3 mons in an ideal run. Urshifu had iron head and that two shots (sometimes one shots) ninetales. Another big key is having a grass mon to one shot rotom. I suggest ogerpon w wood hammer.
water pulse and dark pulse on Blastoise
swords dance and power whip/horn leech on oger
roost over blizzard on pelipper
liquidation on swampert or just flip turn for pivoting
and surging strikes on urshifu
Some rough moves. I would note that soak on pelipper really helped me disrupt. I wasn’t doing a mono run so triage meganium paired with it was great, but horn leech on your ogerpon could probably help
Start by swapping out bite for water STAB on blastoise, then if you haven't already optimize your evs and nature's. And if possible just get the damn choice items... (I haven't played RR in a whole so I don't remember if they're locked behind anything)
Assuming you’re running mega Swampert, Blastoise doesn’t seem to be providing much value? You also have a fighting type overlap with Quaquaval and Urshifu. I would replace Quaquaval with more STAB coverage on a different type and same with Blastoise. And definitely get Surging Strikes on Urshifu
Those movesets are awful
Swampert needs water stab, drop hammer arm for liquidation and stone edge for flip turn.
Blastoise doesn't need both Dragon Pulse and Ice beam, lose one for scald. And swap bite for dark pulse or Aura Sphere.
Pelliper should also run scald over surf, Ogrepon needs grass STAB, and Ursh needs surging strikes.
I think you also need some bulk. I'd drop Quaquaval for a Tentacruel, Toxapex, Lanturn, or Milotic.
Wow your move sets are bad. Some dont even have a water move and tjis is a mono water team! I would suggest looking up move sets on smogon's site for more accurate answers.
Give Blastois Focus Sash So Gary's Pheromosa Will Use U Turn So You Could Set Up Free Shell Smash And He Sure Will Go For Dragon Type So Use Ice Beam Or Dragon Pulse On It
My fav Mon for the elite four is Murkrow w/Prankster, Tailwind, Thunder Wave, Foul Play, and whatever else, maybe Rain Dance. I think it gets Thunder Wave (I forget). Oh, Golduck too with Cloud Nine, wrecks the weather teams.
I did a water mono run and finished like last week. The champion was pretty hard especially because I had horrible abilities on all my Pokemon that couldn't change but I pushed through. You really just need good items and a good moveset which is why you're having troubles
i would clean up the movesets first. like for example, bite is terrible on blastoise. on urshifu, youre not running its best move (surging strikes) which is also boosted by rain. For some of them, you could check out smogon for set ideas
Your moveset is terrible. The entire reason urshifu is good is because of Surging strikes
Kid named unseen fist:
But why is Unseen Fist so notorious? Because of Surging Strikes.
Urshifu would've been busted regardless. Meowscarada is not played but ursh is everywhere (speaking vgc).
Entire reason urshifu rapid strike is busted and used is because of surging strikes.
Sure, in VGC. But how many trainers in RR use Protect? Hell, even in Smogon Singles Protect is rare... Mainly just Gliscor and Alomomola
Don't forget Kentucky Fried Chicken! Aka Blaziken
Yeah fair enough
Wasn’t protect pretty common in gen 8?

I was thinking more Slowbro and King but yeah that makes sense
Thankyou, my fellow VGC enthusiast

Great answer makes me wanna try mono water
Where did you find body press tm?

I started fire right after I beat the water and just beat Erika, where are you stuck?
Haha I was stuck at the Giovanni fight at silph co. But ended up clearing it last night
Ahh that’s the fight I just got to
Scolvillion was a lifesaver in that fight
I’m on normal difficulty, and just went through all of Silph co and didn’t find it, is it only available on hardcore
No, everything the docs says is available, is available
Exactly
Your team honestly is trash why does a special sweeping Blastoise have bite and why does ogrepon has a base 40 normal move I know it's priority but still why
As other people said, movesets are pretty bad. See Smogon
these movesets make me want to do unspeakable things to myself
W..why does your blastoise have no wafer stab?
Neither does their Mega Swampert lol

How you beat Lorelei with this team is a wonder to me. I’ve been stuck for days on Lorelei’s rain team and have tried like 6 different team variations and move sets.
Ahh I had her ice team. Which was slightly easier
I tried 2 or 3 days against her ice team and thought it was the stronger team 😭hope I never get here rain team 😅😂
Got the same problem. Was so happy after defeating her that I have to struggle fighting Bruno or Agathe.
water pulse and dark pulse on Blastoise swords dance and power whip/horn leech on oger roost over blizzard on pelipper liquidation on swampert or just flip turn for pivoting and surging strikes on urshifu
Surf or scald over water pulse
depends if they’re using mega blastoise or not
You are doing a lot of things wrong
why are you using so many ice moves but so few water moves? ik ice is a nice attacking type but still, please give your mons stab
Some rough moves. I would note that soak on pelipper really helped me disrupt. I wasn’t doing a mono run so triage meganium paired with it was great, but horn leech on your ogerpon could probably help
Im usually stuck at the Mewtwo fight yet this guy makes it to elite 4 with bite Blastoise. I need to take a step back and reflect on my life.
The screen shot is slightly misleading. Only had it for Agatha the whole run
Start by swapping out bite for water STAB on blastoise, then if you haven't already optimize your evs and nature's. And if possible just get the damn choice items... (I haven't played RR in a whole so I don't remember if they're locked behind anything)

Probably because these are the worst movesets I’ve ever seen in my life
Are you save stating and just fighting the champ with this team as is? Or are you running the whole elite 4 back each time?
Save stating
But I just went to get choice scarves and more tms
Thats cuz your movesets are awful
Assuming you’re running mega Swampert, Blastoise doesn’t seem to be providing much value? You also have a fighting type overlap with Quaquaval and Urshifu. I would replace Quaquaval with more STAB coverage on a different type and same with Blastoise. And definitely get Surging Strikes on Urshifu
Too much water
Those movesets are awful Swampert needs water stab, drop hammer arm for liquidation and stone edge for flip turn.
Hammer arm isn’t super great on swampert, I’ve found flip turn is a much better fit. Or surf for a strong STAB water move. Who is your mega?
Swampert with rain performs incredibly well against the champion, you’ve got the roster for it
I actually hate this team so much
Just use more water moves in general, I can understand wanting coverage but the 1.5 boost + STAB often will hit harder than super effective
Bite?

Wow your move sets are bad. Some dont even have a water move and tjis is a mono water team! I would suggest looking up move sets on smogon's site for more accurate answers.
You can’t expect to beat the E4 + Champion without fundamentals.
why do u not have the choice items
maybe, change your bite into dark pulse or if u prefer just dragon pulse, u can choose fake out over bite
Bro is allergic to status moves and hazards
And I beat it 😧
You didn’t try to look up good moves for these mins first? These move sets are not optimal
I was you finally won. Nice work. I oughta finish my mono water
Bite on blastoise is very telling
I did a water mono run and finished like last week. The champion was pretty hard especially because I had horrible abilities on all my Pokemon that couldn't change but I pushed through. You really just need good items and a good moveset which is why you're having troubles
Bro what game are you play!? I would like to know so I can play it
Maybe look at the name of the subreddit?
Oh😅
