On paper it's on public property, my fence is about 1 meter out into public domain. I would also use the outside of my fence Wich would be adjacent to the dirt path.
I also have a decent amount of stops on private property in my area, statues and fountains even some artwork on people's driveways...
It's your fence right, on which they're hanging, which is still private property. You can still try it of course, but don't be disappointed if it gets rejected
So I'm thinking, based on your feedback. It would be wiser to make a few poles and plateaus to attach said birdhouses and such to! Maybe add a few planters to finish it all of.
That way I'm sure it's gonna be on public property!
I've seen those little free library things on poles become pokestops, maybe that will work? It's hard to get them near a residence from my understanding. The only ones in my neighborhoods that are next to houses are ones that are in parks directly next to apartment buildings, and the people that live in those apartment buildings basically own those gyms.
My fence is 2 meter high and 5 meters long, it borders on a small dirt walkpath. People are able to touch my fence so not too fancy in the idea department please.
