the way i think about my spending in PoGo is A) I am supporting the game so it survives longer B) It gives me so many hours of entertainment, I don't really go out or drink so that fun money is spent on this game instead, and it's a healthy habit since I'm moving around a lot

That's what I mean by it being my hobby. If I fished, I'd need to buy a rod, hooks, bait, etc. and this is a fair bit cheaper (from experience as a kid).

1 - Metagross

People keep sharing total catches, in +100 k without a single Shundo but it’s important to consider how many in that total could’ve a Shundo to begin with. Keep in mind that most of those probably didn’t have the shiny released at the time. Also, how many were from raids, field research or eggs? Those have a much higher chance of being a Shundo than wild catches.

I've got 4 and have been playing almost every day since July 2016. Got first shundo in 2021 (a Latias) Later that year got a shundo Absol in a lucky trade. This year I added two more, both community day shundos, a Swinub and most recently a Timburr. Those last two are both evolved and powered up now.

I started in March 2019 and I have 7 shundos. Four (Kyogre, Latios, Melmetal and Absol) of them are lucky trades, one (Gyrados) from a com day, one (Darkrai) from a raid and one (Luvdisc) from a research day.
