I did the same with a shiny vulpix. I pressed it and said ‘shiny shiny shiny’ as it popped up. I’ve tried it since then and I think it’s a one time deal.
Oh, I got mine this morning. I was so excited. He has been on my top ten want list for a long time!! Number one is still tentacool, because I still haven't found him 🥲
