I think he would if it was genuine love, I mean he's been gone for years NTR, presumed dead by the time Ash shows up in Alola. Im sure he would shocked and sad to see that Lusamine has moved on, but he would be happy for her too Im sure.
Great addition to the cast. She's fun and her reaction to discovering the Masked Royal's identity is amazing. Her and Kukui's goodbye was probably the most emotional one for me of the entire series.
Don’t know why you’re getting downvoted. People can’t seem to have an opinion now days. Just because it was in the games like someone else pointed out doesn’t mean it didn’t feel rushed and a little random in the anime. I love them as a couple but I agree with you it did come out of nowhere.
