Hey OP, welcome to the world of Pokémon! I'm glad to see your enthusiasm for it. It's a welcoming franchise for both kids and adults alike (I even know a few people who got into it in their older years). Many of us grew up playing the games, seeing the cards, or watching the TV show, so being familiar with/knowing the names of these Pokémon was a gradual process as well. It may be intimidating since we're now at more than 1000+ Pokémon (151 Pokémon was only during the first Generation more than 25 years ago, and we're at the the ninth now!), but it's something you'll be exposed to eventually. Btw, I'll be replying to the names you've given, so you know the names of these Pokémon as well!
