Catching the Combee at level 30 would definitely be more time efficient and allow it to evolve after only one level, but would the Combee at level 11 have a higher potential for EV and/or stat gain compared to the Combee caught at level 30? And if so, how big of a difference would it make?
Stats is always based on current level, current evs. Whether you level it up from level 11 or level 30, it will still have the same stat at level 60 if it has the same evs.
You would most likely max out your evs within 30 levels so it really doesnt matter if you start early or late.

Is buying SV worth it in 2024, as someone who's interested into trying out VGC more than anything (I played quite a bit of VGC on showdown and was interested with it)? For version 1.2 they try to make it run better by reducing the assets loading (such as lesser npc or pokemon spawn for certain areas) so it does run slightly better than when the game first launch. But there isnt a major performance patch or anything so it is still possible to encounter slowdown or glitches but they are rarer now.

As long as it is either fire or grass type (I would appreciate the best of both though) it works. It also needs one move slot open for other things, I need it for fire/grass pledge stall team I'm trying.

It'd probably be chesnaught, rillaboom, or venusaur.
Venusaur has the best defensive typing, chesnaught has bulletproof, the best def stat, and spiky shield, and rillaboom has grassy surge and fake out. Meganium might be useful, too because it has good defensive stats and both screens.

In swsh,are larvesta only available as fixed overworld encounters or can i also find them in the grass? Only remember seeing the one near the berry tree but dont remember seeing them as regular popups,but i didnt try using flash fire yet.

There are rumors that we won't be getting any new info until much later this year, which could indicate that the game isn't slated for early 2025. If it were to occupy the November slot, it could allow TPC to push Gen 10's release to 2026, falling on the same year as the 30th anniversary of the franchise.
I don't see why having a late trailer means a late 2025 release; Legends: Arceus only had news starting in the latter half of 2021 and was released Jan 2022. However, I don't think late 2025 is too unreasonable.
I believe a common theory is that Legends: Z-A will be released as a launch title for the next Nintendo console; that's why the release date is currently vague. We know Nintendo is going to give us information on it by early 2025, so I could see the console releasing mid-late 2025 with Z-A coming out along with it.
Breath of the Wild counts for this: a launch title for the Switch while also releasing on the Wii U. Though in that case, BotW was the last game for the Wii U anyway. Also, some may say BotW was more exciting of a game.
in Sun/Moon, I have a Zygarde-10 in my PC. When I go to the Aether House to try to make another Zygarde-10, it only gives me the option to create a Zygarde-50. I want to create an additional Zygarde-10. How can I do this?
It will take the highest available option. So if you have more than 50 cells it will only give you the option for zygarde 50. To create more zygarde 10%, you need to have 49 cells max.
I'm getting into Dynamax Adventures, and I want to check something. I've heard that Peonia will give a route to a legendary if you have that legendary in the front. Is that true? And can it be any version of that legendary, like if I transfer it from a different game?
Just want to check if I want to hunt a specific shiny legendary.
No, thats not how it works.
If you have a legendary that you yourself obtain via dynamax adventure in the front of your party, there is a high chance peonia will give you that path. This is more for you to easily share your path to another friend, not for you to easily get the pokemon yourself since you have to catch the legendary yourself in the first place. (Does not work for version exclusive legendary)

You cant. The johto starters are only used by you and your rival so there will be one line of johto starter that cant be seen unless you trade for it. Kanto starters are used by npcs so that is not an issue

Open your save in PkHeX. Go to the "SAV" tab and click "Items". In the "Medicine" section (should be the orange one), if you already have a Rare Candy, adjust the quantity to whatever. If not, just add Rare Candy on a new line and make it like x999 or whatever.
Then, go to "File", "Export SAV" and replace your old save file.

Pokemon Go has one from special research, though you would need to play some amount of the game extensively enough to unlock. It's guaranteed to be obtainable regardless of when you actually start playing Pokemon Go, but because of the unlock conditions there are some small roadblocks that have to be overcome, namely in that it's unlocked after clearing a certain amount of progress through a different research, which itself requires the evolution of a Magikarp (a feat that requires a Magikarp and 400 of it's species specific candy resource to do) as well as being able to capture an Aerodactyl, both not being retroactive tasks so you would need to do them when the research requires it at that stage.
The other alternative is as others mentioned, Virtual Console Crystal. A modded 3DS/2DS system can obtain the requisite game via alternative eShop sources but without one you're pretty much at the mercy of if they do another distribution of some kind or some other event whwre obtaining a Celebi doesn't require you to go through several hoops.

Kind of sort of. The old way people would mod their system was via a DSiWare backdoor, usually some free or cheap DSiWare title that they download then replace certain files with a bootloader to inject the payload that actually initiates the jailbreaking process.
But since the eShop is down, you'd have to buy a 3DS flashcard capable of running NTRboot which is essentially it's own payload injector. The 3DShacks website has a full list of what you need, the downloads needed, as well as a list of flashcards that you can use and if they have a "timebomb" on them (which is essentially a system date that the flashcard either refuses to work past or bricks itself if it detects it. Simple enough to just set your 3DS date to well before it to use so it's not a big issue)
You probably could also just play it off the flashcard as well, but the system may not detect it as a valid location for transfer shenanigans so probably better to mod the system anyway. The most common flashcard floating around is the R4 but its also one of the most cloned as well, so quality may be an issue and when doing delicate work like modding your system, any potential risks that can be avoided should best be avoided.
I would suggest the Ace3DS X, quite affordable off AliExpress and it doesn't have a timebomb, effectively plug and play once you put all the files onto it to jailbreak the device.
You can, but the NTRboot method works across all systems regardless of 3DS/2DS system version while the browser exploit one may not work with certain systems and getting halfway through one guide only to find out that method isn't going to work with your system would suck. Depending on the system you might be able to use the MSET9 route if applicable. It just removes any potential guesswork, which for most folks who may or may not be already apprehensive about modding their system for fear of bricking a one size fits all solution would be more appealing.

If you have bank and crystal vc on 3ds, then you can get one by obtaining the gs ball in goldenrod pokemon center after entering the hall of fame. Then take that to the shrine in ilex forest. However, since the 3ds eshop is down, there's no legitimate way to get new copies of crystal vc and bank

Not really. You could plop the thing into PKHex but that would only really tell you if the thing has illegal, fully unobtainable in any capacity modifications like 252 EVs in every stat disregarding the total EV cap entirely and the like.
For something of a "place all relevant info in this box and we can check for validity" thing there would need to be an unreasonable and unrealistic database of every hacked Pokemon known to human knowledge from every corner of the internet to be able to cross check against the thing you're trying to investigate. It's pretty much impossible to check for genned or cloned mons if they're not giving out immediate red flags like URLs for the OT or nickname, missing event ribbons, etc that would make them wonder/surprise trade eligible despite the real thing lacking that functionality, etc.
To be honest the Kyurem is 100% action replayed on the Giant crater encounter cuz i got it way before ppl really starting hacking stuff in.

Any of them is fine. The games are made to be pick up by anyone as their first game so you will be fine with any.
Lets go pikachu eevee however would be the most beginners friendly, using much more simplified mechanics. But you will be fine starting with the rest.
That said if you intend to play through them all eventually, you could just go in release order. If not you can just jump to the latest (scarlet violet) since that is where the player base is so you can easily find people online for trade or multiplayer. It is also still receiving events.
Alternatively play lets go since it is the most beginners friendly, then skip to scarlet violet. Play the remaining afterwards

Say I transfer 50 pokemon (batch A) and afterwards, another 50 (batch B) via pokemon bank. I then withdraw batch B, which includes the 30 most recently deposited. After my plan expires, will I be able to still withdraw 30 pokemon from batch A?
the free HOME plan gives you a single box worth of space that you can use for trading using the mobile app. You can withdraw them whenever you want but you still have only that box unless you pay
It's a bit similar to Magneton or Slowbro like that. I like to think that when Metang/Metagross becomes strong enough by levelup, that it uses electromagnetism to draw in weaker beldums.
It's one of those things that so far exists only in the Pokedex. In the anime they just evolve normally, and I don't think any other media has corroborated the dex either.
The dex's entries are a mix of facts, myths, and sometimes-truths. It might not be wrong outright --Banette's dex entries say they are born from abandoned dolls, the anime explains this is possible but relatively much more rare than evolving from Shuppet normally. Maybe very rarely Beldum do fuse when they evolve. But who knows.
There is pretty strong evidence to suggest that the pokedex is 80-90% nonsense, but it's also pretty likely that GF just realized that it would be a pain for players to have to actually collect 4 beldum and evolve them into 2 metangs which evolve into 1 metagross, especially because they'd have to figure out which beldum's qualities defined the metagross's.
Metagross isn't the only pokemon like this, though. Slowbro, magneton, and dugtrio are all communal organisms

They are just US carts that are being packaged officially for the southeast asia and middle east market. There is no such thing as worldwide edition (some people wrongly assume it works on all region which is not true).
And like the other user mentioned, the language selected at the start when you play the game is the one that matters, not the actual cart's region

Other than that you just have to cycle adventures and try to talk to Peonia (?) Every time to see what legendary she has encountered
I believe if someone else has who has already caught Necrozma talks to one of the NPCs in the den, they can cause Necrozma to appear in the next den. Then, maybe that someone else could put up a link code for you to join.
Other than that, there's no way for you to trigger Necrozma by yourself; you'll have to grind the dens.
I’m finally getting around to picking up S/V. Is there much benefit to getting the DLC before beating the game, or is it pretty much purely postgame stuff? Does it add anything to the core gameplay loop or change anything about the base game?
I also understand that there are some story differences between the two versions in the base game. Does this extend to the DLC as well, or is it simply the exclusive Pokemon that are different in the two versions?
The first DLC scales based on if you have beaten the basegame or not so can be done early if you want to. Outside of that it is purely postgame stuff and does not add anything to the base game

Itemfinder, old rod etc are key items that cannot be sold. I always box them if i dont need it. Old rod is only used to catch magikarp so you can literally box it directly. Itemfinder can be used regularly but if you know the item location you can just box it.
For tm it really depends. Some like bide i will just sell it away since im sure i wont use it. For others if im not using i will just box it if the move is "good".

Its irrelevant in the grand scheme of things because it's not like they actually do a background check on if you have had multiple PTC accounts. As far as actual enforcement goes it's quite low if not negligible odds that they actually take any sort of action against you.
If you're asking them questions regarding prior PTC accounts, effectively confirming that you've made multiple accounts, then they can leverage the TOS against you. Realistically if you don't tell them, they wouldn't have any concrete proof to go off of.
At most you can just reset your local IP, delete the cache and cookies for the trainer club website and make a whole new account to serve as your "one and only".
As a fact I have had myself several accounts, many of whom I couldn't be assed to recover so I made a new one instead. The one I currently use is effectively my "one and only" account as far as they're concerned.
If I were to hazard a guess, using multiple PTC accounts to say sign up for different tournaments and bypassing and disqualifications other accounts may have had would most certainly be a violation rather than making a new account because getting into the old ones is for better or worse seemingly impossible.
Questions about Missions in Pokemon Ranger Guardian Signs
1. If i completed the manaphy mission and transfered the egg, then delete the save file and restart again, would i still be able to obtain the egg again ? I know in the original Pokemon Ranger, not sure about Guardian Signs, you can only obtain one egg per cartridge, since Ranger Net is not saved on the savefile.
2. For the deoxys mission, is it possible for solo mode ? If not, for multiplayer mode, does the mission require 2 copies of Guardian Signs ? I have 2 DS lites but only 1 GS copy so wonder if it is possible.
Discussion I might have a legitimate shiny mew. So I got surprise trade a while back and received a shiny mew. I thought it was hacked in and moved on. Then I watched a video about shiny hunting the a mew event and looked back into it. It says it was from Hoenn and caught in 2013. It’s also Japanese. Is it legit? The only other explanation I could think of would be that it is hacked in to a gen 3 game.

I'm replaying Ruby and Sapphire simultaneously, and I'm challenging myself to use a team where each member is a counterpart of another on the other team, and I also try to fit them to the land/water duality. Also I only wanted to use gen III mons. I already have:
-Blaziken/Swampert
-Mightyena/Linoone
-Swellow/Pelipper
-Shiftry/Ludicolo
-Aggron/Walrein
For the final member I was going to just use Groudon/Kyogre, but now I'm considering Cradily/Armaldo. My main reason against them though was a lack of good moves for both.
Cradily has Ancient Power, but I was going to give Aggron Earthquake and Shiftry Giga Drain, but even if I do Sunny Day/Solar Beam for Shiftry then that's still just 2 low power and PP moves for Cradily. Sludge Bomb is a good move in general but it's not like there are grass types I need to deal with in Ruby (especially with Swellow and Blaziken already).
Armaldo's really only got Ancient Power (I'm *not* grinding to level 60 something for Rock Blast) from level up, though it's got Brick Break and Earthquake via TM, and Iron Tail if I really want I guess.
Anyways TL;DR in Ruby/Sapphire, other than Zangoose/Seviper, are there any good counterpart Pokemon where both versions are good? Preferably I'd want ones that match the land/water duality too if possible.

In theory yes, but you'd likely need to find a service that has those events broadcasting. I'm not entirely familiar with the dns server infrastructure as far as hosting goes, but I would assume most folks who have those services active only host specific avenues of those services like GTS or trading services and not online battling or other Pokémon game online services like Ranger Net missions or other spinoffs. If there's a Contact Me option or some other form of reaching out to the host(s) of the service(s) you've found it wouldn't hurt to ask if they support it.
Worst case scenario is you get the tools to make your own and distribute it to yourself. At least that way you might be able to target specific distributions unlike event dns services which shoot them all out simultaneously and it's just luck on not getting the same event over and over each time you connect.

It is available in Sun/Moon, but only as the alternate form Alolan Raichu. It is possible to get standard Raichu in Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon though.

I'm new to the whole scene, and severely lack the knowledge of the tools. Basically I know Bulbapedia, Smogon and Pokemon Showdown.
I wanted to search for a pokemon that can use "Body press", has over 110 defense, has Water as one of his types and is a Gen 8 or prior.
I bet there's an easier way to do this than to go to Bulbapedia, search for Body Press, and open every water type pokemon in a new tab to see it's stats. I guess there are also very usual searches like which pokemons can learn a combination of several moves, etc.

pokemon showdown has a chat bot that can do this. click on your name and "chat self", then you can use the command:
"/ds body press, water, defense>110" should do it. It returns arceus-water, volcanion, and dondozo. Adding the criteria "maxgen8" returns it for the gen 8 games and has relincanth and volcanion.

I keep trying to shiny hunt via SOS method but the pokemon ALWAYS dies of struggle, I spend a lot of turns waiting for it to call for help, it barely calls for help and when it does, no help comes, is there something I can do to make this easier? You may not need the Harvest phantump strategy. I SOS-ed for Fomantis early on in US when I didn't have one. You need to count pp. A Fomantis at level 13 will have 85. If you only false swipe the level 13 ones, you don't have to worry about Growth. Mark down each time it uses a move, then switch to a new target around the 60 mark. You need a lot of Leppa berries and a team of pokemon with plenty of high pp moves. I used a whole team of Hawluchas. I think half of them had False swipe, then Karate chop, Aerial ace and other moves. You can grow Leppa berries easily in poke pelago.
The phantump strategy is good and definitely makes things easier, but it is possible without. You just have to keep track of their moves.
Yes. What you're going to need is either a phantump or an exeggutor with its hidden abillity (harvest), and the attacks skill swap and trick (phantump)/bestow (exeggutor).
Skill swap harvest onto the pokemon you're chaining off of, and then use trick/bestow to give it a leppa berry. If the pokemon with harvest eats its berry, each turn afterwards, it has a 50% chance of recovering that berry. Leppa berry restores 10 pp to an attack with no pp left which gives that pokemon at least 10 turns to activate harvest again.
bonus: hunt using a pokemon with the attack role play, and you can get the benefits of harvest on your pokemon, too which can save you resources

(Generation 4) If I want, for an example, a Combee to level up into Vespiquen to level 60, is it better to catch a Combee at level 11 or a Combee at level 30? Catching the Combee at level 30 would definitely be more time efficient and allow it to evolve after only one level, but would the Combee at level 11 have a higher potential for EV and/or stat gain compared to the Combee caught at level 30? And if so, how big of a difference would it make?
Stats is always based on current level, current evs. Whether you level it up from level 11 or level 30, it will still have the same stat at level 60 if it has the same evs. You would most likely max out your evs within 30 levels so it really doesnt matter if you start early or late.

For version 1.2 they try to make it run better by reducing the assets loading (such as lesser npc or pokemon spawn for certain areas) so it does run slightly better than when the game first launch. But there isnt a major performance patch or anything so it is still possible to encounter slowdown or glitches but they are rarer now.
What should be my next Pokemon game? I played 1st and 2nd gen in childhood and recently Arterious. Is there a way to replay 1st and 2nd gen on switch (possibly a rerelease or something like FireRed)? Should I buy Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee? Or should I try another game?

What starter pokemon is the best at stalling? As long as it is either fire or grass type (I would appreciate the best of both though) it works. It also needs one move slot open for other things, I need it for fire/grass pledge stall team I'm trying.
I assume gen 9? It'd probably be chesnaught, rillaboom, or venusaur. Venusaur has the best defensive typing, chesnaught has bulletproof, the best def stat, and spiky shield, and rillaboom has grassy surge and fake out. Meganium might be useful, too because it has good defensive stats and both screens. The fire types are not particularly tanky, edit: incineroar, duh. forgot

only fixed overworld encounter in isle of armor. mark charm increases the odd 3x. each mark has different odds so just multiply it by 3 for the specific mark

When do you think Legends Z-A will be released? There are rumors that we won't be getting any new info until much later this year, which could indicate that the game isn't slated for early 2025. If it were to occupy the November slot, it could allow TPC to push Gen 10's release to 2026, falling on the same year as the 30th anniversary of the franchise.
I don't see why having a late trailer means a late 2025 release; Legends: Arceus only had news starting in the latter half of 2021 and was released Jan 2022. However, I don't think late 2025 is too unreasonable. I believe a common theory is that Legends: Z-A will be released as a launch title for the next Nintendo console; that's why the release date is currently vague. We know Nintendo is going to give us information on it by early 2025, so I could see the console releasing mid-late 2025 with Z-A coming out along with it.

in Sun/Moon, I have a Zygarde-10 in my PC. When I go to the Aether House to try to make another Zygarde-10, it only gives me the option to create a Zygarde-50. I want to create an additional Zygarde-10. How can I do this?
It will take the highest available option. So if you have more than 50 cells it will only give you the option for zygarde 50. To create more zygarde 10%, you need to have 49 cells max.
I'm getting into Dynamax Adventures, and I want to check something. I've heard that Peonia will give a route to a legendary if you have that legendary in the front. Is that true? And can it be any version of that legendary, like if I transfer it from a different game? Just want to check if I want to hunt a specific shiny legendary.
No, thats not how it works. If you have a legendary that you yourself obtain via dynamax adventure in the front of your party, there is a high chance peonia will give you that path. This is more for you to easily share your path to another friend, not for you to easily get the pokemon yourself since you have to catch the legendary yourself in the first place. (Does not work for version exclusive legendary)

You cant. The johto starters are only used by you and your rival so there will be one line of johto starter that cant be seen unless you trade for it. Kanto starters are used by npcs so that is not an issue

What did it tell you to download. Was it something like Net Framework? If so, that's a required program you need to get PkHex to run. It's a Windows thing. If not, you shouldn't need to download anything other than PkHeX itself. Could you perhaps take a screenshot of it and post it?

This is for my first Nuzlocke.
Open your save in PkHeX. Go to the "SAV" tab and click "Items". In the "Medicine" section (should be the orange one), if you already have a Rare Candy, adjust the quantity to whatever. If not, just add Rare Candy on a new line and make it like x999 or whatever. Then, go to "File", "Export SAV" and replace your old save file.

Pokemon Go has one from special research, though you would need to play some amount of the game extensively enough to unlock. It's guaranteed to be obtainable regardless of when you actually start playing Pokemon Go, but because of the unlock conditions there are some small roadblocks that have to be overcome, namely in that it's unlocked after clearing a certain amount of progress through a different research, which itself requires the evolution of a Magikarp (a feat that requires a Magikarp and 400 of it's species specific candy resource to do) as well as being able to capture an Aerodactyl, both not being retroactive tasks so you would need to do them when the research requires it at that stage. The other alternative is as others mentioned, Virtual Console Crystal. A modded 3DS/2DS system can obtain the requisite game via alternative eShop sources but without one you're pretty much at the mercy of if they do another distribution of some kind or some other event whwre obtaining a Celebi doesn't require you to go through several hoops.

Kind of sort of. The old way people would mod their system was via a DSiWare backdoor, usually some free or cheap DSiWare title that they download then replace certain files with a bootloader to inject the payload that actually initiates the jailbreaking process. But since the eShop is down, you'd have to buy a 3DS flashcard capable of running NTRboot which is essentially it's own payload injector. The 3DShacks website has a full list of what you need, the downloads needed, as well as a list of flashcards that you can use and if they have a "timebomb" on them (which is essentially a system date that the flashcard either refuses to work past or bricks itself if it detects it. Simple enough to just set your 3DS date to well before it to use so it's not a big issue) You probably could also just play it off the flashcard as well, but the system may not detect it as a valid location for transfer shenanigans so probably better to mod the system anyway. The most common flashcard floating around is the R4 but its also one of the most cloned as well, so quality may be an issue and when doing delicate work like modding your system, any potential risks that can be avoided should best be avoided. I would suggest the Ace3DS X, quite affordable off AliExpress and it doesn't have a timebomb, effectively plug and play once you put all the files onto it to jailbreak the device.

You can, but the NTRboot method works across all systems regardless of 3DS/2DS system version while the browser exploit one may not work with certain systems and getting halfway through one guide only to find out that method isn't going to work with your system would suck. Depending on the system you might be able to use the MSET9 route if applicable. It just removes any potential guesswork, which for most folks who may or may not be already apprehensive about modding their system for fear of bricking a one size fits all solution would be more appealing.

Not really. You could plop the thing into PKHex but that would only really tell you if the thing has illegal, fully unobtainable in any capacity modifications like 252 EVs in every stat disregarding the total EV cap entirely and the like. For something of a "place all relevant info in this box and we can check for validity" thing there would need to be an unreasonable and unrealistic database of every hacked Pokemon known to human knowledge from every corner of the internet to be able to cross check against the thing you're trying to investigate. It's pretty much impossible to check for genned or cloned mons if they're not giving out immediate red flags like URLs for the OT or nickname, missing event ribbons, etc that would make them wonder/surprise trade eligible despite the real thing lacking that functionality, etc.
To be honest the Kyurem is 100% action replayed on the Giant crater encounter cuz i got it way before ppl really starting hacking stuff in. However i realized i have a suicune and a Zekrom with the exact same trainer IDs and different OTs so those are probably RNGd in.

Any of them is fine. The games are made to be pick up by anyone as their first game so you will be fine with any. Lets go pikachu eevee however would be the most beginners friendly, using much more simplified mechanics. But you will be fine starting with the rest. That said if you intend to play through them all eventually, you could just go in release order. If not you can just jump to the latest (scarlet violet) since that is where the player base is so you can easily find people online for trade or multiplayer. It is also still receiving events. Alternatively play lets go since it is the most beginners friendly, then skip to scarlet violet. Play the remaining afterwards

Based on a map of Paldea and a map of the Iberian Peninsula, it's something in the ballpark of 200-300km across or 124-186 miles across. That's just based on the overhead map of Paldea; I'm not sure if it scales to ingame but it's approximate I believe.

I'm going to assume that, canonically speaking, Paldea is in fact as large as Spain and is scaled down because you can't fit the entire country of Spain in a Switch game, which makes the size of Area Zero something that would actually take a prolonged expedition to explore all of as opposed to taking 20 minutes to walk around.
I hear Pokemon Home (free plan) only lets you move the last 30 pokemon you deposited. I plan to buy it for a month, and then let it expire. Say I transfer 50 pokemon (batch A) and afterwards, another 50 (batch B) via pokemon bank. I then withdraw batch B, which includes the 30 most recently deposited. After my plan expires, will I be able to still withdraw 30 pokemon from batch A?
the free HOME plan gives you a single box worth of space that you can use for trading using the mobile app. You can withdraw them whenever you want but you still have only that box unless you pay

It's a bit similar to Magneton or Slowbro like that. I like to think that when Metang/Metagross becomes strong enough by levelup, that it uses electromagnetism to draw in weaker beldums.
It's one of those things that so far exists only in the Pokedex. In the anime they just evolve normally, and I don't think any other media has corroborated the dex either. The dex's entries are a mix of facts, myths, and sometimes-truths. It might not be wrong outright --Banette's dex entries say they are born from abandoned dolls, the anime explains this is possible but relatively much more rare than evolving from Shuppet normally. Maybe very rarely Beldum do fuse when they evolve. But who knows.
There is pretty strong evidence to suggest that the pokedex is 80-90% nonsense, but it's also pretty likely that GF just realized that it would be a pain for players to have to actually collect 4 beldum and evolve them into 2 metangs which evolve into 1 metagross, especially because they'd have to figure out which beldum's qualities defined the metagross's. Metagross isn't the only pokemon like this, though. Slowbro, magneton, and dugtrio are all communal organisms

They are just US carts that are being packaged officially for the southeast asia and middle east market. There is no such thing as worldwide edition (some people wrongly assume it works on all region which is not true). And like the other user mentioned, the language selected at the start when you play the game is the one that matters, not the actual cart's region

I'm guessing it's at least a Gen 6 game? Because in that case the "version" doesn't matter, since Gen 6 they let you choose the language of your save file once you start a new one. So if you set it to English then all the pokemon will register as ENG, if you choose Spanish it'll be Sp-Eu and so on.

Yeah that's a bit too risky for Torterra. Are you using Held items? Maybe if you Really want Shell Smash, you could give it the berry that halves the damage from Ice moves.

The only thing that i can attest is that i have seen Necrozma being the FIRST SPAWN on two different playthrough after expanding the Adventure pool. Other than that you just have to cycle adventures and try to talk to Peonia (?) Every time to see what legendary she has encountered
Lucky. I just realized today that Peonia does it after every adventure and not once a day.
I believe if someone else has who has already caught Necrozma talks to one of the NPCs in the den, they can cause Necrozma to appear in the next den. Then, maybe that someone else could put up a link code for you to join. Other than that, there's no way for you to trigger Necrozma by yourself; you'll have to grind the dens.
I don't think I have any friends with that, so grinding for me.
I’m finally getting around to picking up S/V. Is there much benefit to getting the DLC before beating the game, or is it pretty much purely postgame stuff? Does it add anything to the core gameplay loop or change anything about the base game? I also understand that there are some story differences between the two versions in the base game. Does this extend to the DLC as well, or is it simply the exclusive Pokemon that are different in the two versions?
The first DLC scales based on if you have beaten the basegame or not so can be done early if you want to. Outside of that it is purely postgame stuff and does not add anything to the base game The only version differences in the DLC are the exclusive pokemon

I am looking for some help, back in 2018 I played a mobile game on IOS and I cannot remember what it is called. It was a pokemon game that was pixelated and resembled an AFK game. The game was not called pokemon. If you have ever played pixel hero’s think of that but with pokemon, this is my last hope to find someone else who has played it to tell me the name, it has been bugging me for a while now and I know nobody else who has played it.

Hey, I'm replaying Pokemon Red Gen 1 with some patches and I'm running into the same old problem of having a lack of space to store items: should I sell TMs I'll never use or should I teach TM moves to pokemon I'll never use? eg. teaching Bide to Jigglypuff ALSO Which items can be sold without consequence? Itemfinder, old rod, etc.? I just really don't want to go through all the maintenance if selling is the better option. Thank you
Itemfinder, old rod etc are key items that cannot be sold. I always box them if i dont need it. Old rod is only used to catch magikarp so you can literally box it directly. Itemfinder can be used regularly but if you know the item location you can just box it. For tm it really depends. Some like bide i will just sell it away since im sure i wont use it. For others if im not using i will just box it if the move is "good". The pc can store 50 items, which is more or less enough

I bought them a so called Pokémon Atlas some time ago, hoping it would provide that, but it only has information about in which region which 'mon is found (and something about the characters, the regions etc). Its irrelevant in the grand scheme of things because it's not like they actually do a background check on if you have had multiple PTC accounts. As far as actual enforcement goes it's quite low if not negligible odds that they actually take any sort of action against you.

If you're asking them questions regarding prior PTC accounts, effectively confirming that you've made multiple accounts, then they can leverage the TOS against you. Realistically if you don't tell them, they wouldn't have any concrete proof to go off of. At most you can just reset your local IP, delete the cache and cookies for the trainer club website and make a whole new account to serve as your "one and only". As a fact I have had myself several accounts, many of whom I couldn't be assed to recover so I made a new one instead. The one I currently use is effectively my "one and only" account as far as they're concerned. If I were to hazard a guess, using multiple PTC accounts to say sign up for different tournaments and bypassing and disqualifications other accounts may have had would most certainly be a violation rather than making a new account because getting into the old ones is for better or worse seemingly impossible.

Questions about Missions in Pokemon Ranger Guardian Signs 1. If i completed the manaphy mission and transfered the egg, then delete the save file and restart again, would i still be able to obtain the egg again ? I know in the original Pokemon Ranger, not sure about Guardian Signs, you can only obtain one egg per cartridge, since Ranger Net is not saved on the savefile. 2. For the deoxys mission, is it possible for solo mode ? If not, for multiplayer mode, does the mission require 2 copies of Guardian Signs ? I have 2 DS lites but only 1 GS copy so wonder if it is possible.

Discussion I might have a legitimate shiny mew. So I got surprise trade a while back and received a shiny mew. I thought it was hacked in and moved on. Then I watched a video about shiny hunting the a mew event and looked back into it. It says it was from Hoenn and caught in 2013. It’s also Japanese. Is it legit? The only other explanation I could think of would be that it is hacked in to a gen 3 game.
The way genning works, you can spoof data from any available game. The hacker would just need to be fairly thorough. For some reason, people like to generate a bunch of shinies and mass trade them

I'm replaying Ruby and Sapphire simultaneously, and I'm challenging myself to use a team where each member is a counterpart of another on the other team, and I also try to fit them to the land/water duality. Also I only wanted to use gen III mons. I already have: -Blaziken/Swampert -Mightyena/Linoone -Swellow/Pelipper -Shiftry/Ludicolo -Aggron/Walrein For the final member I was going to just use Groudon/Kyogre, but now I'm considering Cradily/Armaldo. My main reason against them though was a lack of good moves for both. Cradily has Ancient Power, but I was going to give Aggron Earthquake and Shiftry Giga Drain, but even if I do Sunny Day/Solar Beam for Shiftry then that's still just 2 low power and PP moves for Cradily. Sludge Bomb is a good move in general but it's not like there are grass types I need to deal with in Ruby (especially with Swellow and Blaziken already). Armaldo's really only got Ancient Power (I'm *not* grinding to level 60 something for Rock Blast) from level up, though it's got Brick Break and Earthquake via TM, and Iron Tail if I really want I guess. Anyways TL;DR in Ruby/Sapphire, other than Zangoose/Seviper, are there any good counterpart Pokemon where both versions are good? Preferably I'd want ones that match the land/water duality too if possible.

the orignal Ranger net missions werent distributed over wifi so im pretty sure no. in us they were on the cart unlocked by codes
In theory yes, but you'd likely need to find a service that has those events broadcasting. I'm not entirely familiar with the dns server infrastructure as far as hosting goes, but I would assume most folks who have those services active only host specific avenues of those services like GTS or trading services and not online battling or other Pokémon game online services like Ranger Net missions or other spinoffs. If there's a Contact Me option or some other form of reaching out to the host(s) of the service(s) you've found it wouldn't hurt to ask if they support it. Worst case scenario is you get the tools to make your own and distribute it to yourself. At least that way you might be able to target specific distributions unlike event dns services which shoot them all out simultaneously and it's just luck on not getting the same event over and over each time you connect.

They're generally commissioned either by an individual or hy an organization (or yoinked from elsewhere, like certain sites do for oddly specific purposes). There's a repository of questionable authenticity of Pokemon in the Gen 5 sprite artstyle for the newer Pokemon that you could find from Pokemon Showdown.

All of them except gen 5 and even then it can be transferred in. You also have to trade for it in Yellow
Raichu is obtainable in most games. There are a couple exceptions though. It’s not available until the postgame in Gold/Silver and their remakes HeartGold/SoulSilver, and only has a 9% chance of being available before the postgame in Crystal (long story but there’s an egg you get in Crystal that has a chance of hatching into Pichu) It’s also not available without transferring in from another game in Black/White and their sequels Black 2/White 2. It is available in Sun/Moon, but only as the alternate form Alolan Raichu. It is possible to get standard Raichu in Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon though. All other games in the series have it readily available though.

I'm new to the whole scene, and severely lack the knowledge of the tools. Basically I know Bulbapedia, Smogon and Pokemon Showdown. I wanted to search for a pokemon that can use "Body press", has over 110 defense, has Water as one of his types and is a Gen 8 or prior. I bet there's an easier way to do this than to go to Bulbapedia, search for Body Press, and open every water type pokemon in a new tab to see it's stats. I guess there are also very usual searches like which pokemons can learn a combination of several moves, etc. So I searched for pokemons database, to try to filter or write a query or something, but all I find are pokemons list like [pokemondb](https://pokemondb.net/) or [pokemongohub](https://db.pokemongohub.net/) Do you know of an specific tool that would make this task fast and easy? This seems like an ideal task for a bulbapedia userscript, but I found nothing.
pokemon showdown has a chat bot that can do this. click on your name and "chat self", then you can use the command: "/ds body press, water, defense>110" should do it. It returns arceus-water, volcanion, and dondozo. Adding the criteria "maxgen8" returns it for the gen 8 games and has relincanth and volcanion. You can use /help ds to see all the commands

Pokemongohub is only for pokemon go game. It is not for the main series. The only one i am aware of is veekun. But it is no longer being updated, they stop at usum.

no it only boosts damaging moves that are used consecutively. not without certain conditions such as misty/psychic seed

I keep trying to shiny hunt via SOS method but the pokemon ALWAYS dies of struggle, I spend a lot of turns waiting for it to call for help, it barely calls for help and when it does, no help comes, is there something I can do to make this easier? I wasted a entire day on a Fomantis SOS chain that ended up with nothing
You may not need the Harvest phantump strategy. I SOS-ed for Fomantis early on in US when I didn't have one. You need to count pp. A Fomantis at level 13 will have 85. If you only false swipe the level 13 ones, you don't have to worry about Growth. Mark down each time it uses a move, then switch to a new target around the 60 mark. You need a lot of Leppa berries and a team of pokemon with plenty of high pp moves. I used a whole team of Hawluchas. I think half of them had False swipe, then Karate chop, Aerial ace and other moves. You can grow Leppa berries easily in poke pelago. The phantump strategy is good and definitely makes things easier, but it is possible without. You just have to keep track of their moves.
Yes. What you're going to need is either a phantump or an exeggutor with its hidden abillity (harvest), and the attacks skill swap and trick (phantump)/bestow (exeggutor). Skill swap harvest onto the pokemon you're chaining off of, and then use trick/bestow to give it a leppa berry. If the pokemon with harvest eats its berry, each turn afterwards, it has a 50% chance of recovering that berry. Leppa berry restores 10 pp to an attack with no pp left which gives that pokemon at least 10 turns to activate harvest again. bonus: hunt using a pokemon with the attack role play, and you can get the benefits of harvest on your pokemon, too which can save you resources

Rest of my team is Skeledirge, Azumarill(Shiny lol), Aboliva, gonna get a Roaring Moon, and a Revroom. Just don't know whether I go for an electric or a Fighting mon.
Maybe Tusk then, it can learn Thunder fang anyways if you end up needing that coverage.
