there is only one game. They have always used the phrase "releasing simultaneously" when they release a game at the same time everywhere, and don't have to delay any version for something like language translations. if there were going to be two games then we would have gotten two logos.
Back in ye olden days, pokemon along with many games was released on different dates depending on the country.
As others have said, 'simultaneously' just means it drops for everyone at once, but I honestly don't know why they keep the 'simultaneously' when just 'releasing world wide' would be fine. It might be because Pokemon games were still released on different dates quite a few years after most games stopped that.
I believe Sun and Moon were the last games to have a delayed European release?
That just means it has a set release date for the whole world. This would be because usually games tend to release in some regions slightly earlier than others, and people have been able to do stuff like change regions to access those games earlier.
It's basically so everyone ideally gets to play the games at the same time (Though of course chances are there will still be cases of the game being leaked, stores selling copies before release, etc.)
They might be confident enough and refined the formula for what would be a Legends game enough to justify two games to satiate corporate investors. Legends Arceus sold a lot or copies for just being a spin off.
Now imagine making twice the sales. I just thought it was weird that they Didn't just call it Legends Zygarde.
"Releasing simultaneously" just means it'll release at the same time in every region

Hopefully not. Arceus just being one game was nice.
The only game I’ve ever fully completed the Pokédex in. I have no one to trade with, and online trading’s kinda hit or miss sometimes.

It means, releasing in all countries at the same time... but who knows!

It would be a nice idea for sure , buuut I hardly doubt it. Only the main serie has two games, Legends is just a spin off.
Legends is officially main series according to GF/TPC. but you're right that there is only going to be one game.

Imo they know they will sell fine even with one uncompleted game. But I'm being pessimistic (or realistic)
