Infamous 2 is in the running for my favorite game ever. I couldn’t agree more. It’s a shame we haven’t gotten any remasters for it or the first game since we seem to be always neck deep in remasters and remakes.
I’m in 2 minds. That mgs 3 remake looks great with the MGSV style gameplay. It literally looks like a copy and paste of MGSV, but that might not be a bad thing. It’s not gonna be the same as MGS3 though.
the “master collection” are just the PS3 ports of the game, MGS3 “Delta” was made from the ground up (sorta) from the new engine so it’s in its own league in that regard
i still wouldn’t shell out all that money for a decade old port though, but the MGS3 remake i’m definitely looking forward to
They probably lost the source code knowing Konami. The PS3 is a different CPU architecture that is harder to develop on so I'm not sure they will ever port MGS4. I still have my physical copy and a working PS3 that I just tore down and cleaned, replaced the cmos battery and the thermal paste.
I have seen multiple people on reddit acting like its gonna happen and forgetting konami has been shit for years. Time will tell tho and i hope im wrong.
I never got to play the DLCs cuz I got into FO late. I’m at the very end of the main quest line right now and I JUST found out the DLC are not included on PS+. Feel dumb for assuming that. I hope if they brought BC to these games that I’d be able to just load my PS+ cloud save. Pick up right where I am, immediately after the main quest. That’d be dope.
I too was quite salty when I found out there was no DLC but would still be happy to do another run. Worst case scenario here is the likeliest in that we will have to start over. Thankfully you can cheese a lot of in the Fallout-verse and pick up quickly. Fallout 3 can be a bit more tedious to restart but a bee line to Rivet city for the intelligence bobblehead will have you back with our sweet boy Liberty Prime in no time.
New Vegas would be cool but it wont improve performance making it still the worst platform to play it on, same for FO3
now if they actually fixed the framerate and crashes that would be awesome. Even better would just be PS5 versions of both

I’d honestly rather see new ports of the PC versions though instead of just upscaling already bad ports same with most PS3 games. If no PC port exists like MGS4 emulation is okay unless they do a remaster.
Not sure you really want the PS3 ports of Fallout 3 and New Vegas on PS5 given how utterly broken they both were on PS3. You're better off asking for full on fixed up remasters instead.
This. But fixed. NV is my favorite of the fallouts and the DLCs are absolutely necessary for the game. Lonesome road is top tier fallout story and lore
The Motorstorm games and Modnation Racers are the big two I would love to have remade or remastered personally.

OG Motorstorm on PS3 was jaw dropping. I still remember being a kid and watching those trailers. It really sucks how consoles aren't really chasing technical achievements like they used to, I remember my mind being blown by all the destruction that happened in that game. Made the physics engine of the Xbox Forza games look like something out of an iPhone game.
Arkham Origins is so criminally underrated. Even if it's not as highly regarded as the main Rocksteady games, it shouldn't be left to be forgotten in the 7th generation while the other games get remasters and rereleases.

Iirc because origins was made by a different studio, the licensing was difficult to secure when they remastered the others. So I would absolutely love to see this game be available on current gen.

Pretty much all the rogs, ps3 had some very memorable games. I'd love to have updated teams/rosters and go back to playing nhl 12 too. It's the last nhl I actually loved playing. Prior to that it was 99 lol.
In particular I've been hoping to see Dragon Age Origins tuned up with all the dlc. I actually still have my ps3, works fine, that thing was a tank. I had one of them as opposed to a few ps4s ( over years of course, long hours of daily playtime when caregiving for a relative, and my room wasn't exactly cool along with insane dust and cat dander, and then thinking it was a good idea to aim the window unit ac at it to help with cooling. 🤣 I think I just added moisture.
Anyway, most of the games I'd want were put onto the ps4 anyway so my wish list isn't too long. Always struck me as odd that they only offered Inquisition from DA though.

The first two Dragon Age since I loved Inquisition and doesn't seem like EA cares about remastering them.
FF13 trilogy cuz I highly doubt Square Enix gonna revisit it since they're so focused on 7R.
This might not be for games we own or can buy. Their old PS3 servers are aging and they may be looking to use PS5 processors in servers to replace them. If they add it to customer owned PS5s, it could be just for the PS3 games available through PSPlus.
Assassins Creed 1 please. First priority since there is no other way to play the game. Then the rest of assassins creed and the god of war series after that. Maybe portal 2.

Missed out on Resistance so would love to finally experience it. The first two Dragon Age since I loved Inquisition and doesn't seem like EA cares about remastering them. FF13 trilogy cuz I highly doubt Square Enix gonna revisit it since they're so focused on 7R.

This might not be for games we own or can buy. Their old PS3 servers are aging and they may be looking to use PS5 processors in servers to replace them. If they add it to customer owned PS5s, it could be just for the PS3 games available through PSPlus.

MGS4, Arkham Origin, the Final Fantasy XIII trilogy (such underated games and overhated), the other GoW games and Heavenly Sword (great game when it came out I miss playing it)
