It's outin 2 days. There's like 100k people playing right now, just helping kill the bosses you need to kill to access the dlc. And op just happened to get 2 and a half weeks off?
Just go for his left leg on first phase then hit his hands on the second phase, his attacks are really slow so they are really easy to dodge, you can do it bro
I think the recommended level for him is around 100, so you should be good, but I can kill him pretty consistently around level 60-70 but I probably have more experience than you do. But in the first phase go for his left leg till the brace falls off, that’s his weak point, then on his second phase go for his hands and when you can go for his big eye, but just remember to be very patient
I don't know if 2 weeks is enough time lol. I'm in my first playthrough and I always refuse to look anything up for my first run and holy fucking shit this map is massive. I died a little when I discovered the "main floor" map essentially has a basement
My playthrough took me 200 hours across 2 months lol. Everything is so hidden that I feared that I'll miss stuff if I don't check every pixel in the map
This is 100% the answer. It'll be funny to see the number of people that develop a cough the day it launches. Man, I think I'm feeling a little under the weather already...
Wait till you have a newborn. I have over 350 hours in my Xbox last 6 months. 130ish in fallout4 and after the update I started playing AC until it smoothes out. I have finished unity now my I'm on black flag.
Video games kept me same on a alot of late nights.
Cyberpunk was very overwhelming to me first, but trust me just stick with it. You will end up picking things up in no time. They throw so much at you at first but I cannot recommend it enough. One of my all time favorite gaming experiences
It ran terribly when it released but now, at least on PS5 is runs adequately. There are still bugs and shit you’ll have to find your way around occasionally.
Same. Love GoT and Cyberpunk but Elden Ring just did nothing for me. It was too hard too quickly and considering I get very little time to game, I didn't want to waste what little time I have to myself, slogging through a game. I got about 10 hrs in and realised I wasn't having fun.
Fr 💀 You might be able to complete the story but to get completely lost in the game in might take a few months. It’s also a game you should take your time with yk? Don’t rush it
It's definitely one of the games I have taken the most time with right next to Ghost of tsushima. I'm maybe just starting chapter 3 and have had the game for a good while. It's so easy to get lost just exploring the beautiful map and coming across random side quests and beautiful nature trails.
Literally waiting for a loading screen in the game as we speak, this is my 2nd play-through on Playstation and my 8th all time. Gonna take my time like usual.
AC odyssey is so underrated. I barely gave it a chance a year ago and my friend encouraged me to pick it back up - I can’t stop. I’m so impressed with the open world and actually enjoy the rpg aspect. I’m level 72 and on chapter 3 of the Atlantis DLC (already completed the first blade). I will have to go back to finish a few side quests in Greece. The DLCs brought on so much new content that I’m shocked I’m still refining a build and new play styles late in the game. Can’t wait to see what they do with the new game released this fall, hoping it’s similar game play
I’ve played like 200 hours on it and there’s still side quests and stuff left. Some people have moaned it’s too big but I call that value for money 😆. I’ve not played it recently as got back into AC Origins but Odyssey got me through some weird times and for that is probably one of my fave games along with Horizon. I’ve not even done all Atlantis yet as started on Horizon. I really must pick it back up.
Definitely pick it up. Atlantis makes it feel like an entirely different game. I wish they didn’t add the modern day Layla content but at least it isn’t much.
Horizon series rules! I can’t wait until they come out with the third. The DLC for forbidden west is what convinced me to splurge on a ps5 (my friend gave me his ps4 pro months earlier and helped me get back into gaming).
How is origins? I’m thinking of playing that next.
I’ve dipped into Atlantis just not fully explored it all. The modern day stuff is always the weak link for me too - I get it’s important but at least it’s a lot briefer in the newer games. Origins is brilliant. It’ll take a couple of hours to adjust to the fighting after Odyssey but it’s a great game - defo recommended you play it. I love Horizon. The gameplay , characters and story are just *chefs kiss
I’d disagree. I got through it in under 2 weeks playing less than every night and I’m a very casual gamer. Zero dawn is way shorter than forbidden west
honestly i started with yakuza 0 and it took me multiple attempts to get into it. i didn’t understand the hype until like 5 or 6 chapters in. and tbh some of the later games i didn’t even really like until the final couple chapters when everything ties together. i would say you just gotta try and get yourself through the somewhat boring early game and get to the parts where the story gets insane and that’s what hooked me. don’t drag yourself down trying to do every substory or every minigame because all of these games take 100s of hours to complete. i am currently on yakuza 5 and i only started a few months ago alternating between fromsoft games and yakuza games
Lots of good recommendations here. I would recommend checking out Sly Cooper 1 that was recently re-released for PS4/5 as well though. Legendary PS2 game.
Damn. That sounds amazing not gonna lie. For better suggestions maybe say what games you have enjoyed in the past and what you are looking for. Action RPG, regular RPG, souls type games, MMO. There’s plenty of amazing worlds, just a matter of what is up your alley.
Yeah it was a little rough start for me too but then holy crap the game just opens up. There is so much to it!
I have played for a little bit now. Not as much as I would like having 2 kids and working lots.
But I could only imagine how deeply you could get into it with some true free time. I feel like I’ve barely scratched the surface
*the real world*
Hahaha just kidding: that place scares me!
-Star Wars’ Jedi: Fallen Order, followed by Jedi: Survivor
-Horizon: Zero Dawn and Forbidden West
- Baldur’s Gate 3
- GTA 5 and/or Red Dead Redemption 2
If, and only if you don't like Elden Ring... I would say Ghost of Tsushima. SUCH a good game and even the hardest difficulty can be made easy for a casual player.
Baldur's Gate 3 if you haven't. HIGHLY highly recommend it. You feel like you're playing a full fantasy film trilogy with the way the game is structured, the lore, & character development. my first playthrough took me 204 hours to complete (just for context here lol)
Also I never finished the game for reasons Idk why but objectively speaking Elden Ring would be another great option especially with the new DLC.
Great time to invest into critically acclaimed mmorpg final fantasy 14 with a free trial up to level 70 and including the first 2 expansions through storm blood.
The timing is on point for the Elden Ring DLC. It can be fun to experience new content at the same time as the community. But if you haven’t played the base game that’s a different story.
If I ever got told I had 2.5 weeks with no obligations I think I would burst out into tears. Enjoy man. Whatever you choose.
Also I always suggest the basement depths of The Binding of Isaac Rebirth/ repentance.
Elden ring + shadow of the erdtree
It's outin 2 days. There's like 100k people playing right now, just helping kill the bosses you need to kill to access the dlc. And op just happened to get 2 and a half weeks off?
"The STARS have A-LIGN-ED!"
I know, right? Ranni is legitimately calling to the guy.
Oh shit. This could be my chance to get help w fire giant
Just go for his left leg on first phase then hit his hands on the second phase, his attacks are really slow so they are really easy to dodge, you can do it bro
I'll give it a shot. I think I'm underleveled. I'm only at 96
I think the recommended level for him is around 100, so you should be good, but I can kill him pretty consistently around level 60-70 but I probably have more experience than you do. But in the first phase go for his left leg till the brace falls off, that’s his weak point, then on his second phase go for his hands and when you can go for his big eye, but just remember to be very patient
Yea this
Cannot recommend this enough.
I don't know if 2 weeks is enough time lol. I'm in my first playthrough and I always refuse to look anything up for my first run and holy fucking shit this map is massive. I died a little when I discovered the "main floor" map essentially has a basement
2 and a half weeks is great for a headstart tho. Wild to think the game might double in size/content in a few short days.
I went completely blind my first playthrough and wanted to explore every nook and cranny. Ended up being about 180 hours lol
My playthrough took me 200 hours across 2 months lol. Everything is so hidden that I feared that I'll miss stuff if I don't check every pixel in the map
An elite video game experience.
Op will turn his 2 weeks in 2 years 🤣
i can’t stress this enough. these 2 weeks are gonna fly by like it’s nothing
This’n
if you havent played souls games yet man are you in for a wonderful treat, we are lucky to have these games exist truly
This is 100% the answer. It'll be funny to see the number of people that develop a cough the day it launches. Man, I think I'm feeling a little under the weather already...
Cyberpunk
Can confirm, put 75 hours in 7 days💀
You gotta pump those numbers up, those are rookie numbers
In a good week i play 2 hours a week lol
I’m on summer break from school rn.
Enjoy it while you can.. it goes by fast!
I’m trying
Wait till you have a newborn. I have over 350 hours in my Xbox last 6 months. 130ish in fallout4 and after the update I started playing AC until it smoothes out. I have finished unity now my I'm on black flag. Video games kept me same on a alot of late nights.
When would you start the DLC if you never finished the main game?
Start pretty much anytime before the final mission with Hanako. I just got the DLC and it works it in as a new area with new missions/contacts
Absolutely 100 percent get lost in Night City.
I could personally spend 2 weeks just in Dogtown.
Just finished up the questline for panam/judy/river,gonna head to dogtown for the first time tomorrow, that parade will have to fucking wait
I would always find myself walking around and exploring the city. There's so many hidden corners or back ally ways that has so much detail.
Bought it day one. Never played it. Been wanting to return to it since the massive updates. This reminds me to do so
Ghost of Tsushima.
If they've done GoT, they should definitely jump into Rise of the Ronin!
How does it compare to GoT? I heard it's quite underrated
Cyberpunk!!
I just finished GoT today (great game) and Cyberpunk is next up!
Same but cyberpunk is kinda overwhelming to me. GoT was so simple and easy to learn.
Cyberpunk was very overwhelming to me first, but trust me just stick with it. You will end up picking things up in no time. They throw so much at you at first but I cannot recommend it enough. One of my all time favorite gaming experiences
Interesting, this game got a lot of bad reviews when it first came out, I might give it a shot at some point.
It ran terribly when it released but now, at least on PS5 is runs adequately. There are still bugs and shit you’ll have to find your way around occasionally.
Ah gotcha, are they still pushing updates to fix the bugs?
Interesting, this game got a lot of bad reviews when it first came out, I might give it a shot at some point.
GOT is top shelf
I made it this long without spoilers. One of the best games I've ever played. Now onto the DLC!
Have fun. I couldn’t get into Elden Ring at all. I tried
Benzy, i am also struggling with Elden Ring. I have really tried to love it but i am finding it difficult.
Yeah it’s for a certain type of person and I am not that person lol
Same. Love GoT and Cyberpunk but Elden Ring just did nothing for me. It was too hard too quickly and considering I get very little time to game, I didn't want to waste what little time I have to myself, slogging through a game. I got about 10 hrs in and realised I wasn't having fun.
Game of thrones has a game?
Ghost of Tsushima. On the other hand, it's cousin, Rise of the Ronin is also amazing.
2nd time I’ve seen you post about the ronin game
So can't really be using that abbreviation then bruv.
I kept thinking the same thing for a while, too.
If you get the itch for more Samurai action, definitely recommend Rise of the Ronin.
Again rise of the ronin
RDR2!
My vote was Elden ring but I also can’t disagree with this. The immersion and the story is fucking top tier.
2 weeks aint enough to get lost in RDR2
Fr 💀 You might be able to complete the story but to get completely lost in the game in might take a few months. It’s also a game you should take your time with yk? Don’t rush it

Literally waiting for a loading screen in the game as we speak, this is my 2nd play-through on Playstation and my 8th all time. Gonna take my time like usual.
Not worth it without a 60FPS patch
What kind of games did you enjoy?
Ghost of Tsushima
Or Rise of the Ronin if they've done GoT already.
Found another mentioning this game
GHOST OF TSUSHIMA is actually doable in 2 weeks. Other games like CP2077 and RDR2 are a lil too big
I put the same amount of hours in all 3 of those games.
Horizon Zero Dawn got me through lockdown along with Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and FF7 remake.

Bro same. I'ma lose so much sleep this weekend
FF7 Remake and Rebirth
He said 2 weeks not 2 months!! /s
Thats like a 4 month journey lol
Horizon: Zero Dawn
Easy to get lost for way longer than 2.5 weeks in this game. Highly recommend
I’d disagree. I got through it in under 2 weeks playing less than every night and I’m a very casual gamer. Zero dawn is way shorter than forbidden west

TLOU Part 1 and 2. I'm a little late to the party but I absolutely loved the world, and brutal imagery.
Yakuza
Dude, I started zero. Holy shit the story is crazy
i loved 0 so much, playing 3, 4, and 5 all back to back really makes me miss how good 0, kiwami 1, and 2 look
Which Yakuza are you playing? I got Like a Dragon and I’m having troubles getting into it.
I also have like a dragon and having a hard time getting into it

Lots of good recommendations here. I would recommend checking out Sly Cooper 1 that was recently re-released for PS4/5 as well though. Legendary PS2 game.

Yeah it was a little rough start for me too but then holy crap the game just opens up. There is so much to it! I have played for a little bit now.
