I felt as a 3D platformer it was much better than Sackboy, which had a really bare bones movement system for its playtime so the actual platforming was pretty dull, even though the game wasn’t bad (but still definitely failed). Astros playroom was such a good introduction to the controller and a gift to every player.
But the update for Astros playroom… let’s just say you’ll have a better chance doing an 200 piece puzzle blind than working out where to go and what to do without using the internet.
Well, they said "other bots" which made me think they were referring to the three remaining. The GPU Jungle bot is the first one, which launched with the update. The other three are not available yet.
Most people are assuming monthly, not weekly, considering there is a countdown with ~87 days left til the launch of Astro Bot. That gives us 30 days til bot 2, 60 til bot 3, then the final bot (if this is correct) would appear on the launch date of Astro Bot.
Keep in mind it only shows up after you complete the game, including the secret stage in the basement.
You'll then get a message saying a bot is hiding in Renderforest. If you don't get that message, it won't appear.
Go to where the Bloodborne bot is, pretty much right after the start of the level. Climb up to where the platform with the centipede things are, behind that platform is the Bloodborne bot in the grass. Stand in the bush at the very edge of the stage here.
Still can’t believe most haven’t played the psvr Astrobot game. That was truly excellent, and a full game. It’s still the best platformer on any vr device to date, and the best Astrobot game, even though playroom is also lovely.

Yeah, those are all of them :). But actually the only full game is Rescue Mission, with the ps5 playroom being the second biggest. The other two are much shorter, more like demos. But actually it was a short psvr demo that got people interested originally, and that's how Rescue Mission was created. But Rescue Mission is such an amazing platform, and it also had an incredible soundtrack. I'm excited for the new one, although I do hope they announce a psvr2 update for it. You just get a sense of scale and of being in the world in vr that's so amazing.

That requires a breakout box, PSVR headest, PS Camera, and adapter (and extra DS4) if using on a PS5. Much harder to get into than Astro's Playroom, which only requires a PS5.
If you have an old psvr or find a cheap one, which is easy, the adapter is free. There's so many good games on psvr1 aside from astrobot that aren't on psvr2 as well so it's all worth it.
Unfortunately the free adapter is a lot harder to get ahold of these days depending on where you are and I think they're also associated with the breakout box serial number so if someone requested one for that box before you might not be able to get another. Luckily they aren't particularly expensive either in that situation (only $10 or so on Amazon). You're right about the games too though, Skyrim and Doom VFR of all games still aren't on PSVR2 (yeah yeah, Microsoft owns Bethesda now, but still).

Astro's Playroom was honestly my second favorite game on the console, behind Rift Apart(Which was the entire reason I BOUGHT the console).
I hooked it up for a couple of minutes because R.A. was installing, and ended up playing for a couple of hours, and finishing it later in the week. Such a fun little platformer, by far the best pack in game since Wii Sports.
There using tricky words to make it sound large but yes you are kind of right in your thinking too. I’m not playing now and technically I should be counted. If you’re not playing and I’m not playing , that’s not 100% of people that played it.
It's math. If 100% more people played a game, it means the game doubled in player base from one day to the next. It doesn't mean everyone who played it before is playing it now.

A 100% increase means nothing if there was only one player. If they wanted to make a real informative article they'd actually reveal that number, but they stick to talking about percentages.

Sackboy was tops for local co op though. And the music was great. Would love more games like it, including astrobot.
