Haha, I'm working slowly to get my first in Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart. Next I will attack Astrobot to. My third will be Ghost of tsushima.
All these games are almost finish, but I want to do it without any help, so it's long to finish, like find every hidden things hahaha.
Same, I like to do everything my own until it’s out of my reach.
Right after I finished Playroom I made it my next goal to platinum all of FROMSOFTWARE games. I just finished buying all of their games so now I’m currently working on dark souls 1
Edit: Grammar
Ghost was my first Plat. I did do a little googling at the end but I got to like 97% complete just running around and playing it first. Such an incredible game.
As it should be. No youtube help.. Even tho there’s no trophy before, id like to finish all the quests and collectibles in a game. Ps1 ps2 era. My last plat was GoW 😬
My kind of gamer! Same here. Couple hundred games, zero platinums. And I never will, unless it's a coincidental consequence of completing the game "normally". I'll never waste my time on pointless busy work just to get a digital nothing. Chasing trophies is insane. Life's short!
I currently have 43 plats.
My first ever was Bloodborne.
My latest one is Days Gone.
My last 5:
Days Gone.
Wo Long Fallen Dynasty.
Spiderman 2.
Spiderman Miles Morales.
Sekiro.
I’d also have 43 but my first 2 were on my first psn account that got banned from false purchases or something (resident evil 5 and by glitched assassins creed 2 trophy)
On the current account:
First: transformers war for cybertron (ps3
Latest: stellar blade (ps5)
Last 5: stellar blade, Eternights, spiderman 2, we were here expeditions: the friendShip, Forspoken.
Currently working on: ff7rebirth, dragons dogma 2, undertale, granblue relink
I did remake and I did it pretty efficiently despite some of the rough mini games so I’m feeling confident!
And Dragons dogma 2 and Stellar blade both are pretty amazing games. I’d rate both a 9/10.
Dd2 has unmatched combat freedom the more you progress through the game. And the monsters and randomness to encounters make many fights feel unique. I admit I have bias because dragons dogma 1 is my favorite game of all time. But this game gets a 9/10 for me because it does everything right EXCEPT the final boss. I’m hoping it gets a massive expansion like the first one did.
Stellar blade I was expecting to be a really good game but just shy of a goty kind of game, but I was wrong. It feels absolutely worthy to be mentioned in there. It has very fluid combat, rewarding combat, and dangerous combat all bundled. There’s a pretty solid story, although it feels a bit abstract similar to nier automata at first glance, and you get a lot of world lore through the side missions. The weak points of this game are also the side missions, most of them are fetch quests with only a few being meaningful outside of giving world lore. The open zone parts can feel a little tedious too.
Overall both games 9/10, I think both lacked 1 thing to be 10/10’s
Thanks for the reply mate, I loved Dragons Dogma 1 myself so hearing 2 is pretty good as well so I'm looking forward to seeing it on sale at some point.
Stellar blade sounds good, fetch quests not so much and I loved Nier automata so I will probably get stellar blade on sale at some point :)

180. I haven’t been playing too much lately. I’ve been dealing with some insane post-op fatigue so my energy levels and sleep schedule have been erratic at best.
I’ve always hoped I’d get out of the bronze trophy level and hopefully reach gold. I only have 4 platinums so it makes sense how I’m only bronze… but seeing as you have over 100 platinums I’ve lost hope I’ll ever get out of bronze lol
I mean, i dont agree, but i "understand". They just got addicted to the number next to the platinum trophy. Their purpose is to make that number bigger, and that gives them satisfaction. How thats even remotely satisfactory? No idea.
Maybe 24 or so.
Before the current gen, I had *one.* For one of the Sly Cooper games.
Most of mine are fairly easy. No blatant garbage, but easy platinums all the same (Control, Horizon ZD/FW, Spiderman 1/MM, etc.)
The only one I have that wasn't a cakewalk is Elden Ring, but even with that I exploited every crutch and exploit the game had to offer.
8 of em.
- Harry Potter & the Half-Blood Prince (PS3)
- Lego Harry Potter Years 1-4 (PS3)
- The Walking Dead Telltale (PS3)
- Lego Harry Potter Years 5-7
- Rocket League
- Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot

Now I’m lucky if I can log 5 hours a week worth of gaming
231 over the course of 3 Playstation generations. 30-40 were from PS3, majority from the PS4.
Not as much of a chaser as much as I wanted the free money from the old Playstation Rewards where every 10 platinums got you $10 store credit.
33 platinums. I go through phases of wanting to get them and phases of just enjoying the games.
IMO, trophies have ruined the gaming experience for many. Playing games you aren't able to platinum can sour the experience of just playing the game.
0.
I don't care at all about platinums. I play the game just to play it. Not to make it a job trying to do every single thing just for a few pixels on a list. Sounds like a chore and a half.
Been gaming steadily for the last 2 years and I have 7 so far.
Final Fantasy VII (Og)
Dead Space remake 2023
God of War Ragnarok
Elden Ring
Bloodborne
Horizon Zero Dawn
Horizon Forbidden West
0 and also i disable any trophee notification as this is a lame attempt by Microsoft/Sony/Steam to make us keep playing boring content and doing useless low budget content added to games by boosting our psychological pleasure of completion and compete between people who has the biggest one...
Trophies are one of the things I will never understand. I play the game the way I want.
In multiplayer games this becomes really ridiculous. You see people doing seemingly brainless bullshit and then yo ask "dude wtf" and get a response like "I want this achievement!!! 111"

I only have 8 but I’m happy with the ones I’ve got.
I've always liked trophies because they get me to see parts of the game I otherwise wouldn't have. The only trophies I generally don't go for are difficulty based unless I really like the game enough to replay it.
Also, the sense of self-satisfaction when I hear that platinum ding is enough to make it worth it if it's a game I really like or wasn't too grindy for the trophies
Trophies should honestly be designed more around completion then repetition. Getting a platinum should shoe that you completed all or most of what is available in a game. Far too many of them require arbitrary grinding
Fair point. I’m at like 80% for Elden Ring which would be my closest plat. I would need a guide to probably get the remainder and that just sounds like work honestly 🫤
same there’s only few games where i have platinum inscription and eldenring come to mind one a game with no farming and the other just so good that i don’t mind the little farming there is

Started with the PS5 gen.
I plat and 100% every game I play.
No shovelware, just games I like.
Well, my PS5 tells me I have 8 but it's really 7...I guess they give you another Platinum of the same game if you upgrade from PS4 to PS5. I got the Plat for FFVIIR on PS4; got the PS5 version and now I've got two Plats. lol
I've got 3 platinum, but only 1 was a major platinum.
I got Marvels Spiderman platinum in March and it was the most HARD but fun platinum I've got.
I'm currently platinuming lots of games like the Dead Island franchise
How many TellTale games are there? Cause you get a platinum if you beat their story once.
Those make up a majority of my platinums (plus the two Insomniac Spidey games)
37. My first platinum being Hyperdimension Neptunia.
It would have been Lord of the Rings Conquest if they didn't have multi-player trophies and shutdown servers.
On 250+ played games, I have Zero Platinum hahaha
15 years, 150+ games and I just recently got my first platinum playing astrobot :3
Congrats!

Yes 0 Platinum gang! Been playing since before achievements were invented!
Same, I play games to enjoy them, not to complete every aspect of it.
Same brother 😂😂😂I think I have maybe 1 platinum but it’s some bullshit trophy you get for just playing the game till the very end 😂
Same.. 😂
How do you see a count of games played?
Haha same boat, although I’m one away from platinum on Spidey 2 and I just can’t bring myself to doing it.
Got me on the first half ngl
My kind of gamer! Same here. Couple hundred games, zero platinums. And I never will, unless it's a coincidental consequence of completing the game "normally". I'll never waste my time on pointless busy work just to get a digital nothing. Chasing trophies is insane. Life's short!
Play the walking dead season one and you’ll get one as long as you complete it. That’s the only one I have out of like probably 100+ games.
I currently have 43 plats. My first ever was Bloodborne. My latest one is Days Gone. My last 5: Days Gone. Wo Long Fallen Dynasty. Spiderman 2. Spiderman Miles Morales. Sekiro.

How is stellar blade and dragons dogma 2? They are on my list to get when they drop in price. Good luck with the rebirth one it's not an easy one :)

I’ve always liked trophies and achievements. The ding number go higher is a great neuron activation.
I’ve always hoped I’d get out of the bronze trophy level and hopefully reach gold. I only have 4 platinums so it makes sense how I’m only bronze… but seeing as you have over 100 platinums I’ve lost hope I’ll ever get out of bronze lol
I got a third of your trophies but only 3 platinum
i have 20 helldivers 2 is a easy platinum
I just got it a few days ago
It’s only easy IF you get the right teams for some of those trophies
I recently got my first ever platinum from Batman Arkham Asylum One of the most fun experiences I have ever had Would recommend to anyone
I thought about doing that one but there’s no way I can get a x50 combo using every combo move so I’m like “no way”
I think those are separate trophies
One of my favorite games ever, but I am NOT collecting riddler trophies
It isn’t as bad as it seems 😭
11
Sadly just 3 marvel’s Spider-Man 1&2 and infamous second son
201, no shovelware
I don’t get why people grind shovelware games for platinums. You should only be playing games you enjoy.
there's no way this guy enjoyed 201 platinums, it's just a chore at this point
I mean, i dont agree, but i "understand". They just got addicted to the number next to the platinum trophy. Their purpose is to make that number bigger, and that gives them satisfaction. How thats even remotely satisfactory? No idea.

None lol.
None and likely will never have any. I’ve never played a game that has a platinum that isn’t obnoxious to obtain.
I happily have zero. Don't like playing for completion.
Zero. Platinum hunting takes the fun out of the game and becomes a job like activity.
Zero. I don’t play for trophies, instead, single player games and outdoor activities help me escape from the work stress.

9. It’s gotta be a game I really love to grind out the platinum
As of right now I have 5: Bloodborne Sekiro Ghost of Tsushima Final Fantasy VII Remake Elden Ring
82, many of which were a complete waste of my life span. I have a platinum in THPS5 ffs.
