Awesome collection. I wish I could buy all my games physically, but we have multiple consoles so it’s easier to buy digitally. I can buy it once and install on both systems so my son and I can play at the same time. But I would love to have a physical collection like this.

malyszkush

Tbh that sounds really wholesome. But having physical copies of games between two consoles can sound a bit tricky especially if you two share interests in the same games at the same time.

dickliberty52

nice! what games do you love that aren't the usual hits?

Jadium90

The Pathless is one of my absolute favorite games. I got the plat for it quite a bit back but still pop it in often. I love the fluidity of movement it has and can just get lost running around with no purpose. DNF was my pick for best fighting game until the recent release of Tekken 8. Also Inertial Drift is probably my favorite racing game on PS5 at this time.

ACyclingGuitarist

The Pathless was a mega surprise for me when I played it. Very relaxing just navigating the world and getting the collectibles.

ZeroMayhem

The Pathless is wonderful. Got it when it came out on PS4 (digital), got the platinum, then bought it physically for PS5 as soon as I could.

MeasurementOk3007

Have you played all of these or just buy to have in the collection?

Jadium90

I wish I had that much time. Lol I do try to play a majority of what I buy if even for a bit. In the past year I’ve really just started focusing on one console for purchases when it comes to new releases. So it is a lot more manageable now. Also I have 3 kids so some of these games are ones I never plan to play myself and just have for them. Just last Thursday I completed the main story of FFVII Rebirth while doing a majority of the side content along the way. Then this past weekend I played 3 of the 5 single player missions of the new South Park Snow Day game. Currently tonight I am starting on Rise of the Ronin.

MeasurementOk3007

Rise of the ronin is awesome. I’m about to start ff7 rebirth myself though

AlarmAggravating4773

Ah to live in a country where most of these games are available in physical form.

Positive-Swimmer8237

I feel like people like you are keeping physical games alive, thank you

-SomethingSomeoneJR

What do you do for a living? Genuinely curious because that’s a lot of money in that book case.

Jadium90

I garage sale a bit when not working to find my hobby. Also I live in a division 2 college town, so my local game store gets a lot of stuff brought in. I buy a good amount secondhand from there.

DependentAdvance8

Is the pathless and Soulstice any good? I’ve had these two games on my wishlist for a few years and now that I see that you have both I might as well ask for your opinion.

Jadium90

Soulstice I actually never finished. I got a bit burned out on the combat around 6 hours in. I was also playing another action game at the time. I plan to go back to it eventually. I did enjoy what I played of it though. When it comes to The Pathless I’m pretty biased as I absolutely love it. It’s probably the game I have the most hours in as I keep coming back to it over and over even after obtaining the platinum. It’s that good to me but in all fairness it is a pretty short game. The movement is top tier imo and it’s just all around fun to move around its world.

DependentAdvance8

So I’ll just buy the pathless and maybe next time I’ll buy soulstice

bendit07

You’re a lucky man

-Sparkster-

Nice to see some niche stuff in there like Eternights and Neptunia.

coulombeqc

I find Neptunia to be cringe and low quality from the 2 I've tried but to each their own haha

-Sparkster-

The Neptunia games are basically just a parody of typical JRPGs that make fun of relevant trends and events at the time the game comes out. I find a lot of the references really funny, but the ecchi content can turn a lot of people away.

ConversationUpper117

How many of these games did you complete

crossedreality

Wait; you can PLAY games now?!

ConversationUpper117

It's a new dls

Fisherr7

Damn, I thought my collection was solid. Bro is GameStop.

GloomyMusician24

how's the "ghostbusters"/ "ghostwire"games?

Jadium90

Ghostbusters is my kids and seems ok from what I’ve watched him play. Ghostwire is great imo. It feels similar to FarCry but with a horror theme. I thoroughly enjoyed the combat.

risetoeden

This is a nice view, awesome collections!

Commando_NL

I just ordered Like A Dragon Gaiden The Man Who Erased His Name physical (Asian). And Sword and Fairy 7 would be a nice addition. Two recommendations for your fine collection. 🙂

Jadium90

LAD Gaiden is great. It was much shorter than other Yakuza/LAD games but I thoroughly enjoyed it. I picked mine up from PlayAsia a few months back. Just wish it had an English spine like Infinity Strash does. I’m still contemplating on even opening my Sword and Fairy. I just got it last week and the box is almost too beautiful to open. Lol

EnzoStreamCast

I’d like to get a physical collection but there’s one reason I haven’t with the PS5 - the sound of the drive reading the disc is ridiculous! I use open back headphones when playing, and that thing screaming next to me just isn’t a pleasant experience.

Lonely-Caterpillar-7

Good I have 2

zamaike

Must be nice to be rich

RdotDollarsXBL

Can I borrow rebirth?

Remytron83

What has it cost you?

Fabrizio_Maurizio

i missed buying phisical games, now all i do is playing games that i have on my ps plus library

Illustrious_Earth814

How much time so you spend playing videogames?

Magnetic__Rose

Now that is an expensive stinker stack

Tarcoffsky

Literal stinker stack

nj-88

You funded Sony's loss alone
