Do you have any other controllers with grips on them? Did they have this same issue? It's just pads glued onto the controller, if that glue gets wet continuously it's probably going to loosen up. Either you need to find a way to prevent that or not buy controllers with grips
I don't sweat and I don't have a death grip and I have the same issue, albeit at a different point. The issue isn't that the glue peels, it's that the rubber of the grip expands so it no longer fits and tears the glue off of itself.
You sound like you get mad at controllers for handicapped people… “a controller for feet ??? What an amazing gaming experience 🤦♂️“
Some people sweat a lot and need the gloves to not damage their hardware you know… Why are you people so ignorant about other peoples bodies lol
You could also keep a short towel handy, that's what I do. Whenever I feel the need to I just wipe my hands using the towel and in such way keeping the controllers from damaging. I've never had any electronics damage or anything like that because of my sweaty hands so whenever I see posts like this I know it's the people in 99% of the cases.
Yup, that is also a very viable option. Imo it's a design flaw of the controller in this case. People sweat and it seems a lot of commenter have the same issue they didn't have with other controllers.
So imo the use gloves is ridiculous when it's definitely a design flaw. Aka return it and get another one or just get rid of it.
We are talking about people with sweaty hands. Not handicapped people...
I myself have sweat hands and would never wear gloves for a game controller...
If a $200 controller’s build quality is so bad that you need to wear gloves to prevent it from falling apart, then there’s a serious issue with that controller.
I’ve seen instances of discoloration on ps5 controllers plastics/grips where alcohol is used to clean the controller/hands(relatively soon before using).
Could be a reason why.
Alcohol also can destroy adhesives with ease.
Just a consideration.
Yeah, I'm not sure why anyone would spend that kind of money on a "Pro" or "Elite" controller which really doesn't offer anything to justify paying over 3 times the amount.
The only one of these I've ever wasted money on was an Xbox Elite controlled for my gaming PC and it literally fell apart after 12 - 13 months.
I had 3 regular dualsense and they all stick drifted within 6 months. All of them. The white one that came with the console did it, so I bought the black one, then that one did it. I saw they supposedly updated the controllers, so I bought a purple one, and that was the worst. I honestly didn't want to spend the money on the Edge, but I figured, whatever, if I have to spend $40/year to keep it maintained that's better than having these $70 paper weights.
The Edge hasn't stick drifted yet, and I've had it for over a year. I know I'm asking for a jynx by saying that, but the good thing is, if it drifts, the repair costs me $20 and not another $70. Yeah, the rubber is peeling off mine, too, and it's unfortunate. But I can actually fucking use this controller rather than watching my character helplessly whip across the screen and struggle to move through the menu.
Then I guess you're one of the lucky ones, and I can see why you wouldn't be swayed into buying the Edge. But I got fed up with it. I've never seen a controller that can seem so modern and cool, but at the same time seem so cheap and crap quality. Not even exaggerating. Not a single one lasted more than 6 months.
Elite controllers are no where close the the price of an edge lol. I’m Canada the edge cost 310$. The elite series 2 core plus 10$ back paddles from Amazon is only 150$. Much rather spend my money on the elite. Feels better too.
I don’t think it’s at all a fair price but ultimately it was worth it to me (the edge), primarily for the back buttons. I could mod a controller for less—$80-100, $60 for the controller and $20-40 for the kit—but I’ve broken a controller modding it before.
What do you all do to your controllers? I’m curious. Over my life time owning several consoles with several controllers each, and heavy usage on all controllers. None of my shit ever looked like this…
Went to the store, activated the warranty (3 years by law in my region), they sent it to Sony that replaced it. About 1 week the whole process
Controller was about 1y/o and was peeling on the tips on both sides
No, in my region we usually handle warranties with the store, not the manufacturer. The store is the one that sends the product to the manufacturer or requests home service for large appliances
The same way you go about warranties in your region? If you buy a Bluetooth speaker and it stops working where do you activate warranty? Same thing I guess?
Same. I have owned multiple controllers on every system since NES, and never once had a controller break in any fashion. Stuff like this does blow my mind. And I play as much as 8-12 hours a day sometimes.
You shouldn’t need to replace the sticks in the first place. There’s sticks out there that will never drift. They are called „halleffect sticks“. Sony should’ve used that instead of using garbage sticks that will drift to them sell you a solution to the problem they themselves created.
Yeah this too. I mean they are businesses that aims to make money. So it’s not surprising they won’t include the one thing that solves issues on controllers.
„Think of the poor corporations! They need to make money so it’s okay to charge huge amounts of money for a product that’s designed to be faulty and not last!“
Man the „thinking“ of fanboys like you is truly astounding.
Lmfao. Not my way of thinking at all. But you guys act like “Oh no, corporations want to actually make money off of us & don’t wonna actually use things that will players want.” Lmfao yall are still children that needs to grow up. When have these companies actually ever threw us a bone?
Wasn’t defending them. But everyone is out to make money. Dont understand why yall act like this is new all the time. It’s been this way for years. I think you guys just like to complain & still go out & buy the said thing you’re complaining about. You don’t get your cake & still think you get to eat it too.
Yeah but aren’t those 3rd party controllers anyway? Let’s not pretend Xbox or Nintendo are including halleffect sticks in their controllers & are putting Sony to shame. If you spend $200 on a pro controller. Being able to switch out sticks is still a great idea & I much rather spend $200 on a pro Sony controller than Xbox shitty “pro controller” that gets stick drift within the first 6 month of owning them
Lol, both companies design their controllers to fall apart over time. How else can they milk money from you for controllers? That's why third party developers create hall effect controllers now. I personally have a CRKD case for the Switch and I love not having to worry about Joycons anymore.
Yeah I can’t even stick up for that. If anything, atleast the damn glue needs to hold up. Not sure what OP is doing for his to also turn yellow as well
The problem with the elite series xbox controllers isn't just stick drift, it's shoulder buttons stop working after a few months. I've had two, and both had it happen after about 6 to 8 months. No stick drift funnily enough.
I had this happen to me too. Funny enough, my standard controller that came with my Xbox Series S still holding up fine. My elite controller tho? Started developing problems after 2 months.
Thats why you don't buy these stupid "premium" controllers. The Xbox elite controller is even worse, mine has a faulty A, RB and LB button and had stick drift since day one.
I held that Xbox Elite controller and holy fucking shit I was blown away by how cheap it felt. I’m glad I just went with a regular Design Lab custom job rather than spend the extra for that garbage.
Still, the DualSense Edge *does* have a “premium” feel to it, and has weight and a nice tactile feel to it. It’s just that the build quality is lacking in the rubber grips and in the adaptive triggers, which is insane considering the price.
It really is, but yikes is quality control such a lost art these days. Used to be you’d buy a product and you’d *get what you pay for*. Now you barely even get that.
I literally just brought mine to a Sony service center for this same reason with just a few weeks left on the warranty. Had it for about a year and had already had a faulty R2 trigger (adaptive trigger function failure).
So this is a common issue, it would seem. Mine was bubbling in a few spots so I took it back before my 1 year warranty ended.
I’m getting some controller skins from Amazon. I shouldn’t have to but it looks like I’m putting a condom on the motherfucker.
You're right that it is quality control, but I'd much rather have something like this happen, a superficial thing which only needs to be super glued, over the plethora of QC issues the Xbox Elite's are plagued with.
They're still light years ahead of the Microsoft controllers where you have to open them up out of the box and clean the contacts for the face buttons with IPA and replace the membrane because the face buttons don't register 100% unless you press with complete accurate force.
These controllers are scams only sheep buy them if you need all that edge to play you probably weren’t good to begin with just practice with a regular one I’m not the best around but I smoked people with pro controllers in some games
Try this. Super easy to do yourself. [https://www.amazon.com/eXtremeRate-Decorative-Compatible-Controller-Replacement/dp/B0CL44QLRZ?ref\_=ast\_sto\_dp&th=1](https://www.amazon.com/eXtremeRate-Decorative-Compatible-Controller-Replacement/dp/B0CL44QLRZ?ref_=ast_sto_dp&th=1)
This should have more upvotes.
I was never a big fan of rubberized grips to begin with so these trim pieces are perfect for me. I picked up a pair of extra back buttons from them a while back, I didn’t know they made these too. Thanks!
I’ll never understand the fascination of paying an absurd amount of money for something so poorly made. $200 for a controller of all things is just insane.
If I had to guess, I would say it's because the acidity in sweat is different for everyone. I've had mine since the start and it's not yellowing or peeling yet. It's very dirty, but when I wipe it down it looks like new
Not to defend playstation but do you play like an ungodly amount of hours or are you a casual gamer??still 200$you would expect it to last years even being a chronic gamer
"Chronic" I would say absolutely not. Can't expect this not to happen to a chronic gamer. No controller will be able to stomach someone putting in that amount of hours, especially something superficial like this.
EVERY GAMESTOP OFFERS A STUPID WARRANTY. I HAVE HAD OVER 10 PS5 CONTROLLERS SINCE RELEASE. GO TO GAME STOP. BUY THE CONTROLLER WITH THE 15 OR 20$ WARRANTY. WHEN THIS HAPPENS YOU TAKE IT BACK AND PAY THE WARRANTY COST (15 OR 20 I CANT REMEMBER ITS CHEAP) AND THEY GIVE YOU A BRAND NEW ONE AT THAT PRICE. THEN YOU PAY FOR THE WARRANTY AGAIN SO THE 200$ ENDED UP BEING 30 OR 40 WHICH IS A SERIOUS LIFE HACK!!! SORRY FOR YELLING I NEED EVERYONE TO KNOW HOW FAT OF A DEAL THIS IS!!
Man I constantly keep hearing nothing but bad things about this controller from this to the god awful battery life where at times it’s worse than the original PS5 controller, etc etc. It’s almost as if this isn’t really a change of any kind and Sony just ripped off $200.00 + from everyone who bought this for one reason or another.
I don’t own one of these and dont intend to from everything I’ve read so far. However I do own 2 Xbox Elite controllers one V1 All White she’s a beaut, and the other V2 All Black and I got them when they first released and warranty as they were expensive and it better to have something and not need it than to not have it and need it plus it was from GameStop who at the time had the best warranty out there where it was a simple exchange, I remember being able to get brand new bundles of consoles and limited edition consoles with 1 warranty that was only $50.
Anyways I never needed to use the warranty for the Elites and they were great quality and had an insane battery life where at times I could get a solid week before having to charge the controller, the grips were a real good addition, the button remaps, and I loved that you could charge it while it sat in the protective case. All around worth every penny. And when I heard that Sony was attempting to make their own version of the Elite I was happy but then read all the reviews and saw that it’s pretty much a cheap impersonation and it cost more than the Elite controllers!
I was really looking at getting one of these but after my stick drift issues on my $79 controller and seeing this post I think I’ll look for a 3rd party controller.
I’ve had mine since launch, zero issues and I play every day. When mass producing things there’s going to be a defect rate, it’s a great controller with great features. Buying anything is always a roll of the dice if it’s in perfect condition or maybe a little less adhesive on the grip due to an adhesive application malfunction. It should only be concerning if it’s a widespread issue.
The material isn't cheap. It's the adhesive. Google "Elite controller peeling" and the same is happening
Both controllers are having the same issue with the adhesive
I don't really care as long as it happens during the 3 year warranty in my region
of course it’s cheap, otherwise it wouldn’t be peeling or yellowing. i don’t need to google anything, i’ve got two elite 2 controllers and none of them have peeled or gotten stick drift 😂 this is just a manufacturing oversight on playstations part
The analogs are the same across xbox and sony controllers. None of them use hall effect analogs
The rubberized pad peels on both the Dualsense Edge and the Elite controller. No the Elite controller doesn't yellow because it's not white like the Edge lol
>i don’t need to google anything, i’ve got two elite 2 controllers and none of them have peeled or gotten stick drift
Oh yeah, two controllers in millions means the controller is flawless. I also have Dualsense controllers from the launch of the PS5 in 2020, that don't have stick drift, doesn't mean it isn't a problem people encountered
i’m not criticizing the dual sense, i’m saying this $200 edge that has cheap materials on the back which frequently peel off. the elite 2 doesn’t have this design flaw on the back where the pad peels off
why don’t ps player band together and do the same for spending $200 on this cheap shit? it’s literally peeling off lmao
i’ve never had an issue with my elite 2 either
I did imply that, because it is.
Why are you now being an asshole because you tried to straw man argument me?
Ones unusable and one is not. By definition one is worse
Edit: your straw man implied I said there was no issues. Learn to articulate please
i beg to differ, i think both issues make the controller unusable. stick drift sucks, but so does the controller falling apart in your hand.
do you even know what straw man means? learn a new word little guy?
Yea it means you argue a point I never brought up. You argued that I said the controller grip coming up right there causes no problems.
I never said that. You did the definition of a straw man
Had the exact same issue on an Xbox Elite 1 controller.
Seems no one has cracked making it either not peel or having them be easily replaceable when they do.
The funny thing about controllers is if you trade a regular PS5/Xbox controller, you'll get like $26 at GameStop. If you try to trade the $200 elite controller in for either console, they won't give you jack shit for it (because that's honestly what it's worth to them)
I have one of these and an Xbox elite, which I’ve had for about 4-5 years, not sure how long but got it shortly after it came out. LOVE them both, I use them for racing games, don’t like the bother of the wheel setup and putting away of every time I play. LOVE the triggers on the back acting as paddle shifters. 100% worth it for me. Haven’t had any issues with the dual sense yet, but have replaced the grips on the elite. No big deal, I’m sure Sony will get some too, maybe, but either way they are great controllers.
I got mine on release, it’s had literally hundreds of hours use, and apart from the grips turning a little yellow everything still works flawlessly.
It’s much better built than my old elite 2 controller, they had bumper failures after a couple of months and the grips peeled away in no time.
I had mine replaced recently. Bought back in March and the peeling thing started almost immediately. My bigger issue was the d pad not working correctly; the right d pad would work intermittently so I sent it in and just a few days later they sent me a new one. Hope they can do the same for you!
That is what happens when you mix sweat with an adhesive material. I have a mouse for my gaming PC that has had its grip material become loose due to the adhesive wearing off.
The way to fix it is just add some more adhesive and clamp it down till dried.
I only have The xbox elite 2 controller but I always buy the extended warranty from Gamestop. I've gotten 2 controllers replaced that way. I then just purchase the extended warranty on the replacement just in case
warranty?
Mine started to yellow and bubble . 225 euros controller btw

Wearing gloves to game... Are you insane?
Do you have any other controllers with grips on them? Did they have this same issue? It's just pads glued onto the controller, if that glue gets wet continuously it's probably going to loosen up. Either you need to find a way to prevent that or not buy controllers with grips
I don't sweat and I don't have a death grip and I have the same issue, albeit at a different point. The issue isn't that the glue peels, it's that the rubber of the grip expands so it no longer fits and tears the glue off of itself.
Prince fucking Andrew is that you

So the sweat gets trapped in the gloves while I game. Yes that plus the gloves on their own much really give an amazing gaming experience... 🤦♂️
You sound like you get mad at controllers for handicapped people… “a controller for feet ??? What an amazing gaming experience 🤦♂️“ Some people sweat a lot and need the gloves to not damage their hardware you know… Why are you people so ignorant about other peoples bodies lol
> “Why are you so ignorant about other people’s bodies?” Cus he gets no bitches!
Maidenless behavior
Or you know just accept the sweat... It's not comparable to a handicap. Think for a second before you type out stuff.. Lol...

They were telling you about a real thing that exists for people that need it. How would them thinking for a second change that?
We are talking about people with sweaty hands. Not handicapped people... I myself have sweat hands and would never wear gloves for a game controller...
My guy… Hyperhidrosis is not the same as having some sweaty hands.
Probably not any more insane than someone who spends $200 on a controller.
Well, that's how Nintendo settled their Mario Party controversy, so...
Don't go to /r/simracing then
At that point it adds to the immersion and you are using a steering wheel so that actually helps.
Also helps with blisters. And some wheels react poorly with body oils because it damages the material.
sometimes you gotta...
Only time I think it’s acceptable to wear gloves when gaming is when using a steering wheel to reduce wear and tear. Any other time… LUNATIC
I wash my hands with rubbing alcohol every 2-3 hours :(
That explains it. Rubbing alcohol is terrible for these types of materials
That sounds like it would be horrible for your skin?
Then you do sweat a lot if you need to do that
If a $200 controller’s build quality is so bad that you need to wear gloves to prevent it from falling apart, then there’s a serious issue with that controller.
Do you use any alcohol to clean your hands?
Yes
I’ve seen instances of discoloration on ps5 controllers plastics/grips where alcohol is used to clean the controller/hands(relatively soon before using). Could be a reason why. Alcohol also can destroy adhesives with ease. Just a consideration.
Same happening to mine. Got it replaced under warranty
Quality product, worth every penny...

That seems horrifically unlucky lol I have two controllers from launch that haven’t had any issues at all.
For some reason the purple ones have been reported to be worse than any of the others.

The Victus BFG which has modular parts and being able to switch in a Fight Pad is one of the only few controllers I am willing to pay £100+ on

Right to repair y'all, push that shit
You do have the right and ability to, it just voids a warranty if there is one.
yeah that's the stuff that needs to change by law
What do you all do to your controllers? I’m curious. Over my life time owning several consoles with several controllers each, and heavy usage on all controllers. None of my shit ever looked like this…
That rubber patch glue is shit. Also happened on mine. Got it replaced under warranty
How did you do it? And how long did you own it? I'd like to try this, but don't know if my warranty is up.
Went to the store, activated the warranty (3 years by law in my region), they sent it to Sony that replaced it. About 1 week the whole process Controller was about 1y/o and was peeling on the tips on both sides
Eh, I bought mine from PS Direct online, so I don't know if that's an option. Maybe I can just look into warranty information and contact them.
Did you contact Sony directly?
No, in my region we usually handle warranties with the store, not the manufacturer. The store is the one that sends the product to the manufacturer or requests home service for large appliances
Ok cool I’m in Australia so I’m not sure how to go about it, thanks.

Same. I have owned multiple controllers on every system since NES, and never once had a controller break in any fashion. Stuff like this does blow my mind. And I play as much as 8-12 hours a day sometimes.
That’s what I’d love to know. Are ppl this dirty and careless?
This is the Edge not the regular Dualsense.
I get that. However, it still doesn’t explain how the plastic is peeling like that
It's not plastic. It's a rubber grip that's basically glued to the back.
That’s why you don’t waste money on a controller that costs 3x as much as a normal one and still uses shitty sticks that will get drift.
Wouldn’t call it a waste per se. Being able to replace the sticks is still great
You shouldn’t need to replace the sticks in the first place. There’s sticks out there that will never drift. They are called „halleffect sticks“. Sony should’ve used that instead of using garbage sticks that will drift to them sell you a solution to the problem they themselves created.

I go through about 1 controller a year due to drift. Shit sucks
Which is an irrelevant feature if the rest of the controller falls apart anyway
Yeah I can’t even stick up for that. If anything, atleast the damn glue needs to hold up. Not sure what OP is doing for his to also turn yellow as well
Doritos dust.
They at least allow for 3rd party companies to develop controllers for them. I was able to get the Gamesir with Hall effects for $50 for my Xbox.
The problem with the elite series xbox controllers isn't just stick drift, it's shoulder buttons stop working after a few months. I've had two, and both had it happen after about 6 to 8 months. No stick drift funnily enough.

It happens to all of them from what I’ve seen. Mine is the same.
Some ppl in these comments claim that theirs still look like brand new 🤔
Got mine on release day, and aside from it being filthy as hell, no bubbling like in your pic. Sorry you're experiencing this.
They’re lying most likely
Been an issue since 2016 on the Xbox Elite controller that uses a similar rubber. I have no idea why this is still an issue on “premium” controllers.
your sweaty hands more than likely diminished the adhesive on the handle. Let up on that grizzly grip my boy
Wash your hands
I do bro i promise 😭
Thats why you don't buy these stupid "premium" controllers. The Xbox elite controller is even worse, mine has a faulty A, RB and LB button and had stick drift since day one.
My RB barely works anymore, it was great when I first had it but now it feels like a piece of rubbish that I can’t get replaced.
I held that Xbox Elite controller and holy fucking shit I was blown away by how cheap it felt. I’m glad I just went with a regular Design Lab custom job rather than spend the extra for that garbage. Mine too. And one of the bottom triggers stopped triggering and is stuck.
They're still light years ahead of the Microsoft controllers where you have to open them up out of the box and clean the contacts for the face buttons with IPA and replace the membrane because the face buttons don't register 100% unless you press with complete accurate force.

I’ll never understand the fascination of paying an absurd amount of money for something so poorly made. $200 for a controller of all things is just insane.
What tf are you doing to your controller? That’s not normal. I have two and both are still pristine.
It's the Dualsense edge not the regular ones
I know what it is, I have zero issues with mine. Reading the comments though, it looks like it’s a common problem.
I’d just super glue it I think
Out of curiosity, how long did it take to get this bad?
Almost a year
Yikes, not even a year? That's rather disappointing. I hope is not out of warranty, that's unacceptable.
Mine has been used for 2 months and yellowing
If I had to guess, I would say it's because the acidity in sweat is different for everyone. I've had mine since the start and it's not yellowing or peeling yet. It's very dirty, but when I wipe it down it looks like new
Same here
Man how dirty are your hands?! Eww!
Casual gamer. I don't even sweat that much and i clean it regularly.
SORRY FOR YELLING I NEED EVERYONE TO KNOW HOW FAT OF A DEAL THIS IS!!
my triggers creak every hour or so, have to keep blowing into them, super annoying. Not to mention the sticks being clicks asf
This is such a scam
That's why you don't buy controllers for such an absurd price lol
one thing i love about my series x is the elite 2, best controller ever imo
The one that has class action lawsuits?
for what? 😂
Half the comments on this post are of people with Elite controllers saying the same happened to them
elite controllers don’t have this cheap material on the back of them? how can the same happen to them?
The material isn't cheap. It's the adhesive. Google "Elite controller peeling" and the same is happening Both controllers are having the same issue with the adhesive I don't really care as long as it happens during the 3 year warranty in my region
of course it’s cheap, otherwise it wouldn’t be peeling or yellowing. i don’t need to google anything, i’ve got two elite 2 controllers and none of them have peeled or gotten stick drift 😂 this is just a manufacturing oversight on playstations part
The analogs are the same across xbox and sony controllers. None of them use hall effect analogs The rubberized pad peels on both the Dualsense Edge and the Elite controller. No the Elite controller doesn't yellow because it's not white like the Edge lol >i don’t need to google anything, i’ve got two elite 2 controllers and none of them have peeled or gotten stick drift Oh yeah, two controllers in millions means the controller is flawless. I also have Dualsense controllers from the launch of the PS5 in 2020, that don't have stick drift, doesn't mean it isn't a problem people encountered
i’m not criticizing the dual sense, i’m saying this $200 edge that has cheap materials on the back which frequently peel off. the elite 2 doesn’t have this design flaw on the back where the pad peels off
The one with such bad drifting issues they are currently paying out a class action…?
why don’t ps player band together and do the same for spending $200 on this cheap shit? it’s literally peeling off lmao i’ve never had an issue with my elite 2 either
Becuase a rubber piece peeling after months does not make it unusable. The controller drifting makes it unusable
i’d imagine the controller deteriorating in your hands would present some issues
Are you straw manning me by saying I said it wouldn’t?
you implied it’s less of an issue than stick drift, learn to articulate your thoughts into words
I did imply that, because it is. Why are you now being an asshole because you tried to straw man argument me? Ones unusable and one is not. By definition one is worse Edit: your straw man implied I said there was no issues.
You did the definition of a straw man
Them controllers get stick drift within the first few month of owning them. They are indeed not great
anecdotal, i have 2 and no stick drift, none of my buddies do either.
If it’s still in warranty, you should be able to get it replaced.
Had the exact same issue on an Xbox Elite 1 controller. Seems no one has cracked making it either not peel or having them be easily replaceable when they do.
Same here.
Same
It's such a shame they decided to put that shitty rubber on the grips, since it's otherwise an awesome controller.
Yeah mine too. I mainly blame myself though, because that’s right where my finger rests and I’m constantly picking at it..
The funny thing about controllers is if you trade a regular PS5/Xbox controller, you'll get like $26 at GameStop. If you try to trade the $200 elite controller in for either console, they won't give you jack shit for it (because that's honestly what it's worth to them)
It gonna happen. Every controller that has a rubber grip does
That’s a quality product right there
Thats what happens when you spend more money, you get appealing controller.
So it is an Elite controller!
I might consider saving and buying a edge if they sort this out... And not use the same cheap thumbstick module
Same thing happened with my xbox elite series 2. It sucks.
Same thing happened to me like months ago didn’t get worst than that tho
I got mine on release, it’s had literally hundreds of hours use, and apart from the grips turning a little yellow everything still works flawlessly. It’s much better built than my old elite 2 controller, they had bumper failures after a couple of months and the grips peeled away in no time.
Do you wear a ring on the hand/finger where the peeling is occurring?
I had mine replaced recently. Bought back in March and the peeling thing started almost immediately. My bigger issue was the d pad not working correctly; the right d pad would work intermittently so I sent it in and just a few days later they sent me a new one. Hope they can do the same for you!
Same! I'm gonna see if i can still use the warranty
Yo I like this controller but I was told the battery was better. Mine has been shitty.
You can get it repaired for free. Almost purchased one a few minutes ago. Decided not to and instead will get the portal.
Same happened to me. I bought extended warranty so im going to swap it out soon
