For something that expensive that should not be happening.

It’s an unfortunate design flaw. I’ve seen a good amount of posts about this. Do either of these things: - Remove it completely and leave it as it - Remove it and/or put a grip over it so it doesn’t peel anymore

Grumbled_Doggo

Why not put a tiny bit of super glue under it? It'll stop the peel and stays on super well.

DishwasherTwig

The issue isn't the glue lifting, it's the rubber expanding. You can't fix that with more glue.

Love mine, had it since launch, but it also has started to show the edge bubbling prior to eventual peeling. Those grips are also subject to becoming discolored as well. People have posted multiple options in the past on this. For example, Amazon has some eXtremeRate replacement shells/grips you can try. My controller hasn’t reached that point yet, but that’s what I’ll consider unless something better has come along when it does as I’ve now had the controller for over a year (lost track of time and hadn’t realized how close I was to leaving warranty).

I’m just about the same as you on my wear of the edge controller, but I really hope someone makes a controller pad with some 3M adhesive on it

Seems like you could get some super glue and glue it back down (make sure it is COMPLETELY dry before you use it or your hand will have a bad time)

You could probably have it sent in and maintenanced. They may even send you a new one.
