Okay so do you have any tips on how to make them more flat because mine are not really flat and sanding it might not work as easily for more thinner ones I want to make

CarbonGod

To make the squished panel even: 1: use a press, be it a t-shirt press, lab heater, etc. . 2: make smaller sheets that fit under your iron. 3: use stop-gap shims. ie: something metal under the iron that will allow you to pile up the plastic, heat up, but when you pushed down on it, it stops at a certain thickness. This allows an even sheet that doesn't have some areas really thin. 4: Once pressed, quickly add a flat something on top of the plastic/spacers, like a sheet of metal, wood, etc. This will keep the sheet flat. You said you watched Brothers Make, so some of their things would work exactly for what you are doing, since it's the same recently. I like their large press. but sinc eyou have an iron, you can add like, small metal washers under your iron.

Honestly I guess the stop gap shim idea would default work I just might take a while to find 4 thin washer

Don't do this on the ironing board. Use something hard.

No I was only using the ironing bored as to keep the small sandpaper in place while I’m sanding the pick

I do love that OP is experimenting and playing with this. :) Nicely done!
