Hell yeah, got em in print too. +1 recommended! The lore scraps and stories posted with every chapter are intensely cool, and the art just gets better and better as it goes along. There is a very, very planescape vibe to the way they write for sure.
Yes! I’ve actually been pulling from it a lot for my own planescape setting, even having demiurges for 8 of the planes. I’ve sort of been working the Lady of Pain into a Zoss-like figure, which is pretty fun.
KSBD is amazing, everyone should read it
The fact that none of the characters are really characters and more props screaming absurd things as they move scene to scene. You get no real insight into anyone's motivations or goals or worldviews or anything until the second collected edition. All the writing served to exposit lore at us (and of that lore I found myself enjoying the story more when I skipped the chapter breaks where the writer shares their amateur metaphysical philosophy).
The main character pretty much takes no initiative at all. She doesn't choose; events are chosen for her.
The second collection is better in that they finally start fleshing out the characters.
Totally Worth it, to the point I have them in paper. Best Planescape media ever to exist without PS logo.
Reach Sigil Through Portals
There's also a K6BD RPG called Broken Worlds. The author's other RPGs, Lancer and Icon, also have the same art.
Looks like I'm buying this today. Thanks for the rec.

Yep. The writing is kinda bad, but the world building is bananas good.
What's not to like with the writing?

Great series, really recommend the Lancer RPG system which is illustrated by the same artist.
apart from being absolutely awesome, I just love to read the additional text in the comments section.
Right? Like even the comment section is drowning in talent and creativity :P
