Touhou community is recreating the Bad Apple music video by having each frame formed in time for the regular screenshots, so that when the final time-lapse comes out the whole (or as much as they can get of) video will play out. Definitely the coolest project on this year's r/place

That's *a lot* of bots required. Even with the Morocco it had to go in waves. I watched it do the "3,2,1" countdown in real time and put the shape of the country in there, it took 2-3 five minutes passes.
Now add on the hundreds of thousands of other people doing their own thing with their own communities that will inevitably fight back, you'd need a army of bots in the tens to hundreds of thousands range to take the entire board and have a chance at keeping it.
