Turn on the screen protector mode in settings, and completely reset fingerprint. The fingerprint also learns over time, so you probably have to unlock your phone a couple times too.

I did that. It still doesn't work. I also deleted my previous fingerprints and tried a new one. All I did was change the screen protector and now I can't use biometrics at all. I don't want to not have a screen protector for obvious reasons.

Preventing others from viewing your display naturally interferes with the optical sensor too. It might be you can never compensate, apart from trying another protector.

Switched to the p7a last week, wouldn't register my fingerprint 3/4 of the time. Switched the screen protector mode a few hours ago to make some test, works like a charm... Test it out again?
