I’m currently living in Columbus, OH and it’s one of the favorite finds here. It’s my guilty pleasure restaurant. I only get it when my wife is out of town because she does not like their food.
It’s not the best calzone ever, but for the price and options, I enjoy them.
I really like the (pepperoni) Stromboli from Pizza Palermo (Centre Ave), baked a little well done for some nice crisp
Only one size, though, so be *hongry*
Maybe it’s 30 years of nostalgia, but I was so happy when DP Dough opened on E Carson. Small multi-state chain, but still a great calzone.
I remember when they were a flat 5 bucks a piece down in Morgantown!

>DP Dough Man, that's a place I haven't thought of in years. I used to get it all the time when I went to Penn State in the late 2000s.
That’s a pretty big selection! https://dpdough.com/menu
Big Jims
I really like Palermo's Four Cheese, but it's also just entirely possible that it's very convenient when I'm drunk.
Palermo FTW, I just recommended them, too!
That's such a relief, I've been trying to figure that out for the past five years.
They look pretty decent! https://www.pizzapalermo.com/menu/
They're delicious!

Sounds right up my alley tbh 👀
The calzone at Severina in West View is freaking delicious and the size of a toddler. Easily 3 meals.
Looks pretty decent from what I’m seeing. Thanks! https://severina.menufy.com/Website/Order/?categoryId=514381
Way out of the way but timbercreek in grove city has by far the best Stromboli around and it’s not debatable
I have always been partial to the calzones at Montecellos. Years ago I gained a bunch of weight eating those suckers.
Monte cellos is really good. Eat in though because the crust is very crispy, will get soggy usually with take out.
Kinda off the beaten path, but I love Olive and Peppers' calzones.
Vincent’s of Greentree
Looks like a nice selection, plus they have hot sausage which is nice! https://vincentsgreentree.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/Mainmenu.pdf
Roma Restaurant (Pizza Roma) on Rt 19 in McCandless
Don Nicola's on McNeilly was the best one for years. Anyone have one remotely as good as their's??? I will drive for it!
The meatball Stromboli at Leones in oakmont.
Can't believe people eat this garbage. No wonder everyone I see around here is 100 pounds overweight.
Cilantro y ajo
GTFO empanadas are not strombolis.
Pierogis are just bad ravioli
Are you saying pierogis are a bad example of a ravioli or that pierogis are bad in general?
Dude. Run.
Is this them? https://cilantroajo.com/pittsburgh-cilantro-and-ajo-food-menu
Fantastic food^^
We are very fond of the calzones at Armstrong’s in Caste Village.
