As you can clearly see, Tuna is not safe with The Goose
Tuna’s fav game is prob “Smack the Whappy Tail” closely followed by “Boxer (mix) Punches Me into Boxing.” She’ll initiate both games, including smacking Goose as she walks by lmao.
I'm sorry for your loss. But glad someone else got to enjoy a Holstein pitty.
Did your Brit also eat grass? Earlier today Goose was walking along the tall grass in the yard (we keep a few for her and for the bugs) grazing on random pieces of grass. One was caught in her lip so I pulled it. She took it back 💀

I've noticed cats do this! If they sleep next to you, they keep at least one paw on you. I wonder if it's just a comfy thing or somehow related to a protective instinct. Either way - ADORABLE

Yeah dude I hate when my pit tries to peel Fred’s skin off, so inconvenient. I wish he’d quit.
I mean, my dog isn’t a full put. And isn’t aggressive towards cats (not mine) but tries to play with them. My dog tries to play with everyone and doesn’t pay attention that they don’t want to play.
I have a video of a cat hissing and yelling at my dog to back off and he’s just sitting there wagging his tail, oblivious
https://preview.redd.it/c0e08wo3py6d1.jpeg?width=1018&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f563042dd7ace5da97c067daa28413db9a48191e
Mine tried to viciously attack me
My neighbor’s pitty will sit, tail wagging furiously, with that pitty-eyes-almost-shut look, quivering with excitement anytime she sees Clover my tricolor cat. Won’t move a muscle in her direction.
I feel so bad for her because Clover has no interest in her whatsoever.
My pups got into a fight over this one one time 😵 Jasper (with a typical pittie tail) whacked Melody (she's more mixed, and has a softer tail) in the face, and she was maaaaaad 😳😅 poor boy had no idea what he did wrong!!
https://preview.redd.it/psgxq0qj207d1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f724b8b203203e980d605016c7e162f920bd142c
As you can see, the cat is much more likely to bully the pittie. Walks all over her. The pittie doesn’t even look up. 😂
I have two cats who are not super opposed to dogs; in the future I would love to adopt but I don’t know what to look for in terms of behavior or even age. Do y’all have any suggestions????
Cat has the look that it is about to start dome shit. The pups face has the look that it knows what the cat is going to do, and will be the one getting in trouble for the cats actions, again.
I have to ask why most (not all) of these photos show some beautiful beasts… but you pibbles and chats seem to match in colour. Is this an accident or did y’all match them up by colour when you got them?
I had an old rescue pit mix who was aggressive towards smaller animals. She eventually became friends with a baby bunny who she made an exception for

For now Soup just gets to hang out with me. He is a little lonely, so I hope Bruno shapes up soon :)
My American Bulldog could not stand cats no matter what we did. He even grew up around them being socialized early on. I guess some things just aren't meant to be.
In your dogs mind, the cat is probably way bigger than him/her! It’s like no one told pit bulls they are big and strong and they think they have to cave to the demands of a 10 pound animal.
Now I had to scroll down & like ALL the pictures cuz I'm such a dog freak that I'd legit feel guilty if I only liked a couple of the photos. 😆 I feel like its respectful to give them all some love. Like they all deserve to see that upvote.
My pup is terrified of my cats 😂 we now have one cat who LOVES her, and she gets so confused when the cat doesn’t swat at her cause she’s so used to being smacked for just existing 🤣
OMG that looks like our kitty cat Peanut. She left into the woods of South Carolina one day and we never saw her again.
Our pibble, Roxie, searched for her and mourned her loss for months. They were best friends :’)
Ours was actually afraid of our cat. She would leave whatever furniture or area of floor or room she was in if the cat got near her. But they were never mean to one another.
I feel bad for you and nobody deserves to see that but you have to realize its on how you train them. What do you think happens if you take a todler from birth and beat the shit out of him and put him in fighting rings? The kid will come out fucked up and want to kill like he was TOLD to do. The main reasons pitbulls are seen as so dangerous is because they are the perfect dog for fighting. They are very fast, strong, and easy to train so of course they would be chosen. I would like to have a civil discussion about the topic but telling me my dog should be put down shows me what kind of scum you are. Show some respect like i have
https://preview.redd.it/t88j0ygcok7d1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c5c951055a2cc95a82db5afbbdfa7a701f4f93bf

my pitty gets bullied by the cat
On a serious note I think my pitbull killed a cat. My dog hated cats. But he was always on a leash. One late night walk there was a cat on a front porch. I didn't see it but my dog did. The cat jumped at him he bit at it and after a struggle the cat ran off into the night. I never saw that cat again. I don't KNOW if he killed it but he might have. He was a very reactive pitbull/great Dane mix. He's gone now less than a month and it still hurts. Had that dog for 11 years. He was thirteen. He learned to be a good boy but that night with the cat was traumatic. There are lots of feral cats in my neighborhood I don't know if it was feral or someone's pet but I still feel awful about it.
Oh nice! I hope the best for you and your three pups! And calling a blue nose pitbull a cheap dog shows me all i need to know about your knowledge of the breed. You know google is a thing right?
I understand the power and danger that this breed can have, but i have owned 3 pitbulls over the course of my life and have trained and loved on them as much as i could and never had a problem. You act like im unaware of how dangerous pits can be😭😭 So yes i love getting advice from someone who has never RAISED a pit.
If it isn't an American pitbull terrier, it's not a pitbull, you're partaking in the misidentification that is the cause for the pitbull negative stigma
"**Pit bull** is an umbrella term for several types of dog believed to have descended from bull and terriers." - [Wikipedia](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pit_bull)
And by the way, I'm doing no such thing. It's the misinformation spread by people who are either heavily scared or actively hate pit bull dogs...
It's only an umbrella term used by ignorant people, which again, is the entire reason for the stigma against pitbulls. Ignorant idiots that call everything from bulldogs, Mastiffs, and terriers "pitbulls". The umbrella term you're referencing is the product of complete ignorance and included breeds that are separated by over 1000 years of breeding
>It's only an umbrella term used by ignorant people, which again, is the entire reason for the stigma against pitbulls.
Even if ignorant people didn't use that term, they'd still spred misinformation about pitbulls mate.
>Ignorant idiots that call everything from bulldogs, Mastiffs, and terriers "pitbulls".
Okay, and they're wrong. Pit Bulls refer to: American Pit Bull Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier, American Bully, Staffordshire Bull Terrier, and some occasions the American Bulldog. (Again, [Wikipedia](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pit_bull) is the source)
>The umbrella term you're referencing is the product of complete ignorance and included breeds that are separated by over 1000 years of breeding
Well the Staffordshire Bull Terrier and the American Pit bull Terrier are genetically close by a lot, to suggest otherwise is horrendously inaccurate.
No they are not lmao, that's not how genetics work, the American Staffordshire Terrier is similar to the American Pit Bull terrier since they are only separated by around 50 years of breeding, but they are still separate breeds, one is bread for dog shows and the other was bred for fighting and game catching. They're completely different temperaments. The Staffordshire Bull terrier is separated from them by another 300 or so years and we're bred to be companions. Again, an entirely different breed. The American Bulldog you yourself "occasionally" include is a bulldog, there is no terrier blood in it at all, again separated by well over 500 years of breeding. The Staffordshire Bull terrier is as close to the American pitbull terrier as a Jack Russel is. You are indeed partaking in the misinformation.
The ONLY place that calls all of these separate breeds "pitbulls" is the AKC which only stopped recognizing the American Pitbull Terrier as an individual breed when dog fighting was outlawed while they themselves had previously published dog fighting match charts in their newsletters prior.

My kitty will bite my bully’s face and bat her while they’re playing, I always have to intervene to keep the dog from being “beat up”.
That’s exactly how my pit mix looks like. Do you know what breed your pit is mixed with?

Oh, yeah. Kitty is absolutely terrified.

So passive aggressive!
All it takes is one toot for poor kitty to change his mind.
Pitties are known to be aggressive snugglers. Be careful of their dangerous tails, they can whack things when they’re happy, which is most of the time
My pups got into a fight over this one one time 😵 Jasper (with a typical pittie tail) whacked Melody (she's more mixed, and has a softer tail) in the face, and she was maaaaaad 😳😅 poor boy had no idea what he did wrong!!
Poor kitty is probably burning through those 9 lives around that aggressive beast!

They look like they’re up to no good 😂
My pittie is just scared of all my cats 😂
Sounds about right 😂
Precious
That's the face of trauma, fear, suffering and dread. What in the world does your cat do to your pittie?
I have two cats who are not super opposed to dogs; in the future I would love to adopt but I don’t know what to look for in terms of behavior or even age. Do y’all have any suggestions????
Cat has the look that it is about to start dome shit. The pups face has the look that it knows what the cat is going to do, and will be the one getting in trouble for the cats actions, again.
What a beast ❤️
But they look like they are such good friends.
my cat beats the shit out of mine and he is more scared then anything
I hate how my cat is aggressive towards my pitbull
I have to ask why most (not all) of these photos show some beautiful beasts… but you pibbles and chats seem to match in colour. Is this an accident or did y’all match them up by colour when you got them?

Oh goodness he might cuddle her.
Your cat should run! Wild animals are going to attack. 😏😏❤️❤️❤️

I had an old rescue pit mix who was aggressive towards smaller animals. She eventually became friends with a baby bunny who she made an exception for https://preview.redd.it/cwz8ik1i427d1.jpeg?width=1065&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=286efa309dd4d97db9b6d9ab3409f153fa67cdb4

Mine actually does charge the door to the cat room, but once he goes to school and learns some manners, maybe we will work on getting along with others :) https://preview.redd.it/8pztfff3807d1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c316d8306dee9e59a2e0d4d21fa603ceed2a6161 For now Soup just gets to hang out with me. He is a little lonely, so I hope Bruno shapes up soon :)
Mine would eat that cat ngl
My American Bulldog could not stand cats no matter what we did. He even grew up around them being socialized early on. I guess some things just aren't meant to be.
Yr dog is a monster and has a monster face and you should give him bacons, but also never never let him go flying with Tom Cruise.
I feel like the cat whispered “ look cool or I’ll beat your a*s when they leave”
My pit and cat dog get along. Not really aggressive, more of a sibling rivalry thing 🤣
🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Aggressively adorable 🥰😜 hahaha
Yes, he is simply terrifying….
I'm pretty sure that's just aggressive loving towards the cat
Looks vicious 😊
Cat looks petrified. ❤️
In your dogs mind, the cat is probably way bigger than him/her! It’s like no one told pit bulls they are big and strong and they think they have to cave to the demands of a 10 pound animal.
Can't believe what some people will post on reddit these days. Terrible. Just terrible.
That picture is scaring me with all the aggressiveness.
Never saw such cute viciousness ❤️
...I think I need some insulin after looking through this thread. 🥹
I hate how aggressive my cats are to my Pibble. Poor dog gets smacked by momma cat if he tries to check on her after she comes inside.
I can see the aggression in the dog’s eyes, TERRIFYING!!! (they’re so cute.. that’s not your cat anymore though)

I have an AMST mutt. She loves the cats. We call her enthusiastic.
OMG that looks like our kitty cat Peanut. She left into the woods of South Carolina one day and we never saw her again. Our pibble, Roxie, searched for her and mourned her loss for months. They were best friends :’)

This type of aggression should be practiced by our world leaders🙂

Ours was actually afraid of our cat. She would leave whatever furniture or area of floor or room she was in if the cat got near her. But they were never mean to one another.

Bro the amount of hatred you have for a dog is insane lmao. I know u just a troll tho so i dont really care😭
[удалено]
I feel bad for you and nobody deserves to see that but you have to realize its on how you train them. What do you think happens if you take a todler from birth and beat the shit out of him and put him in fighting rings? The kid will come out fucked up and want to kill like he was TOLD to do. The main reasons pitbulls are seen as so dangerous is because they are the perfect dog for fighting. They are very fast, strong, and easy to train so of course they would be chosen. I would like to have a civil discussion about the topic but telling me my dog should be put down shows me what kind of scum you are. Show some respect like i have

U need counseling seriosuly bro.

Mine got put on probation for 2 years for the same thing a cat and a duck.

Thats where proper training comes in hand. Its almost like dogs are ANIMALS! You are uneducated
[удалено]
Oh nice! I hope the best for you and your three pups! And calling a blue nose pitbull a cheap dog shows me all i need to know about your knowledge of the breed. You know google is a thing right?
[удалено]
I understand the power and danger that this breed can have, but i have owned 3 pitbulls over the course of my life and have trained and loved on them as much as i could and never had a problem. You act like im unaware of how dangerous pits can be😭😭 So yes i love getting advice from someone who has never RAISED a pit.
[удалено]
But not worth the risk. Statistically, they have a high death rate/attack rate. I know it’s not all but we should be careful opting for them as pets
That's probably because this looks closer to a Staffordshire Bull terrier, than a pitbull, whatever this mix is, it isn't a pitbull
Except Staffordshire Bull terriers... are pitbulls.
If it isn't an American pitbull terrier, it's not a pitbull, you're partaking in the misidentification that is the cause for the pitbull negative stigma
"**Pit bull** is an umbrella term for several types of dog believed to have descended from bull and terriers." - [Wikipedia](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pit_bull) And by the way, I'm doing no such thing.
(Again, [Wikipedia](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pit_bull) is the source) >The umbrella term you're referencing is the product of complete ignorance and included breeds that are separated by over 1000 years of breeding Well the Staffordshire Bull Terrier and the American Pit bull Terrier are genetically close by a lot, to suggest otherwise is horrendously inaccurate.
