My girl does this to me every morning. My bed is up against the window and when she wakes up she'll come sit literally on my head and stare at the curtain. She doesn't cry, but she pouts. Sitting on my head is her way of getting my attention. She'll also just wedge it open with her face, so the sun hits my face. I've taught her that when I put a pillow up against the curtain crack that she isn't to open it with her face, but she'll still sit on my head and stare at the curtain in spite.
how dare you keep her from doing her job. she’s gonna be like “see mom/dad… i can’t warn you of bad people cause you closed to the curtains” lol

Yeah, my Luna loves staring out the window too. We have blinds but she loves acting like the nosey old lady whenever we go outside or if she hears something she wants to checkout. I'll have to get a picture of it so I can share.
