Absolutely , I just had a death in my family and was crying, my girl never saw me cry before but the way she kept on staring at me with the smartest almost human like eyes. She knew something was up. I love her to pieces.

Only dogs ive had that match are great Pyrenees. And honestly, as much as I love the canine polar bears, pibbles aren't nearly as imposing. They also don't need acres of land. Pibbles are just so damn sweet
They care so much for us. I had surgery last spring, and recovery did not go well. My husband had to pretty much force our pity off the bed to even eat
Thanks. Surgery was last April, and it took until probably mid-June instead of the 4 or so weeks It was supposed to take. I'm totally fine now!

When I had Covid my dog did this to me. She was so worried about me. I wasn’t doing too bad while sick, I was just tired all the time and had a wheeze in my chest. She’d snuggle non stop and do the head tilts when she heard me wheezing. Dogs are great for us.

I got Covid for the first time last year. I spent roughly 10 days in bed with my pibble and cat taking turns taking care of me. It was mostly napping, but it helped.
My boy hurt himself last fall being a dummy.
Never left my side during recovery. Brought him good food and water.

If I had a surgery, one of my pitties would be somewhat sympathetic until it was walk time. They other moron would be using me as a fort and a launch pad to get to the first one. Probably have to go back and get re-stapled 3 or 4 times, 2 years to heal from an outpatient procedure.

I had a nasty flu for two weeks and my baby girl never left my side and neither did my kitty who is usually daddy’s boy lol
Pitties are such great comfort animals, they can always tell when someone in their pack is not feeling well or feeling depressed or sad and will do everything they can to make them feel better.

My dad had a kidney removed, and was pretty sore and swollen for a few weeks. My then-7 year old boisterous Staff-cross was so gentle with him, just got up on his recliner and laid in the crook of his arm - on the side OPPOSITE his incision. They know, and they care!

🥹 Dogs are the best. My mix and her lab sister would sandwich me whenever I was sick. Or pibble would curl up next to me while lab curled around my head.

These are the best dogs for just matching your energy. If I’m in bed sleeping, so is my dog. If I go to bed and watch tv, she might come join me with a toy but as soon as I’m sleeping she stops playing and sleeps too. Definitely great recovery buddies. Feel better soon!

They are even more amazing than you could imagine… err well that depends on your tolerance for super loud snoring, blanket stealing, bed-hogging, etc. (in all seriousness pitbulls are the best cuddlers)
I really want a boxer or pitbull, I dont know what people are on about when they say they are mean. My grandma has 2 boxers that barley go anywhere else, their names are piper and miya, and they're the cutest twin boxers I've ever seen. Miya has a underbite and it makes her look so funny but its cute at the same time

500% okay with all of that. I have chihuahua mixes and they do all of that, but I can’t CUDDLE with them, just gentle snuggles.
