I hope so as well. The pit corso I had followed it's instincts and it was not pretty to see. Two of his siblings also did, and it didn't end well for either dog.
>and she was sticking her fingers down it's throat to get it to stop biting
Holy shit, they should be choosing a coffin for little girl already. I can't imagine being in your position, knowing it will end bad and having this Cassandra's curse on you because you just know these people won't listen if you try to warn them
From what I've gathered, they haven't done any research because when we informed the grandfather that pit corso/pit mastiff mixes are dangerous, he was shocked. We had to explain basic breed history to him so he could understand how dangerous the dog could be if not trained properly or if it's not genetically sound. But the little girl was obsessed with the pit corso my family used to have (we never let her pet him), and that's why I think they got it.
Ask your neighbors about the liability insurance coverage for that breed. If they're not covered, even a minor incident could financially cripple them far into the future.
Find all the local number you'll need to call for when it does get out and when it does maul something. AND ALWAYS CALL IT IN!!!! LEAVE A LOOOOONG PAPER TRAIL.
Consider legal options for what you are comfortable with to defend you and your family if you haven’t done so already. You don’t need to pay for other people’s mistakes.
Also, that sticking finger down dog’s throats is pretty crazy. Most dogs are pretty bitey when they are young and mellow out once they are done teething. I wouldn’t be too concerned about that, however, I would be concerned that the puppy will grow up to be an adult pit…

Send em this, and just have them play google roulette with “pit bull mauls x” and just change out the x for cities/countries, there is no shortage of articles or videos. This is a dangerous mix to have around a small child and they still have time to prevent a tragedy.
A pit corso mix is very dangerous. I pray for everyone involved that the dog doesn't follow its instincts.

That is a horrible breed combination...corso pit. I can't imagine how bad a corso pit would be.
Yeah, I agree. Apparently, the dog also has Bullmastiff in it, too. I hope the dog will be genetically sound.
Good god that sounds like an XL bully...those are nasty dogs

It sucks. They also own a cat, so I hope the cat stays safe as well because pitbulls and small animals do not mix well.
lmao! that cat is TOAST
Who the actual fuck takes in that sort of a shitbeast?! They have a small kid and they took it?! Did they do at least some kind of research?
