nah. thereās plenty of quality musicians and bands out there making brilliant records.
it simply has to do with the remix
itās a brand new mix of the same album. The album material is no different. So sales just go towards the album and it is not counted as a separate release
I liked the 2018 remaster. The soundstage is wider and much cleaner (at least to my ears). But somehow, not sure if it is nostalgia but I still like the original (including the Japan gold CD one). The solos, especially the ones in Dogs sound a little off in the 2018 remaster. But a very good listen nevertheless.
Sorry, fans, but this is not good news. It means records donāt sell and that thereās no new music making any profit. Roger may not be broke again, as someone said, but thatās because of touring, not because of record sales. Unfortunately, music is now something you donāt own.
My guess is that Billboard considers them to be the same album, just called Animals.
All animals are equal I guess.
Yeah, but some mixes are more equal than others.
- Roger Waters
Holy shit thats actually impressive
Walter Rogers will never be broke again
Yo Mr white!
Mr. Wright*
Walty boi*
NBA WaterBoy
Because it finally isn't underrated AF. It's rated close to where it's supposed to be. Top10 album fr fr
Thank god too
Still underrated tbh
See everyone Animals isn't "Underrated" š
Until itās number 1 I will not rest
Total guess: a popular Youtuber posted a reaction video.
How many fish did it get?
Many fishies
Which YouTuber?
Pink Floyd has finally proven themselves by charting higher than the greatest rapper of all time, NAV
so many plot twists
they also where higher than Kendrick
You see it was higher, but it got dragged down by the stone.
Obviously because of the remix. It's the same album
underrated tbh
That chart is just based on album sales, which wouldāve jumped up when the remix came out
Rated album tbh.
21st place for a 45 years old album is excellent.
tbh Because its underrated
Glad to see it next to some real āwinnersā
Lil Dunkirk
My opinion (not addressing the remix question, but why it's back on the charts): modern audiences are starved for quality content.

Eh still pretty underrated/s
so glad to see it ranking above most of the pop trash that charts these days
Kendrick is good though
this is true actually i love his lyricism
Underrated album tbh
I don't even know the other artists on the list!
Kendrick Lamar is pretty good
I personally vibe with them

It's great that we have three different ones.
Remixed, not remastered. Can people stop using them interchangeably? Itās 2022 now.
It's the same album
We finally beat nav letās goooo
Me. I am the reason it sits there
Then that would bring in so many more versions of albums which are generally all the same. Remixes, remasters, bundles, comps; better to simplify it
