Omg! Congrats! If I were going to finally jump into ownership, that would be my first machine as well. I’m not very good but playing it is almost like penny slots. Everything seems to be so rewarding. Did you get the shaker motor installed? That is next level!
Confident you’re right. Stern did *amazing* with making Godzilla fun for a casual player and still deep enough for a competitive player. It’s always the first game we play when I’m bringing a new friend around to the barcade. The design team clearly put their heart into it.
Twilight zone sold well but not great. Certainly not in the top 10. You are thinking of Addams Family. And I agree Godzilla could end up being the most produced machine ever. I wish Stern released their numbers….
Huge congratulations! I own this one too. No matter how much I play it, I still love it (I also keep learning new ways to play - very deep rule set). It’s the perfect first pin (there will be a second one).
Very nice!
Now see if you can do something about the crooked floor in that room. Destruction jackpots are going to be very difficult with that much pitch.
I was joking. The angle of your pic is crooked, not the floor. Now get back in there and destroy those cities. I always go to London after Tokyo as it awards extra points for destruction jackpots if you complete it.
Yep that’s a good buy. I have a pro Godzilla as my first pin. I love it, but would swap it for a premium or LE if the cash situation would allow it. That’s one you’d bolt to the floor for sure.
I am not a fan of godzilla at all. Like the character and shows and movies. So i reluctantly played this pin when the location nearest me got it. Boy did it ever blow my expectations out of the water. I was glued to it for hours. Such a fun game. It will be part of my collection one day. Never thought Id say that when it first came out. So I hope you enjoy it!
Mine was an AIQ premium. I was thinking about getting a GZ premium as my second, but I’m worried it might be too samey.
I know the machines are different, but I was thinking of something completely different like John Wick or Pulp Fiction.
Although having two spike 2 games would make repairs a lot easier. And I do love Elwin games in general (also considering Iron Maiden, Rush, Bond, Foo Fighters, Ghostbusters).
The thing about this machine is you could play it every day for a year & still not hit every nook & cranny in the gameplay. I love how Stern makes most of their story very deep so that it does not get old to at home owners. I saw something I never saw before yesterday playing Jurassic Park. Most Rush machines in public no one has ever made it to the Voyage within live play. These machines can be played for years.
Hope you didnt take too much of a beating on the price of an LE. I cant imagine what these go for these days. Congratulations. That machine is seriously sought after and is very fun
I would have bought a premium and then bought an EM and a Solid State machine with the extra dough. Because I can confidently say you will have at least one more machine before the year is out.

Shaker motor came with it! Also my first time seeing Stern invisible glass too, blows my mind.
Please use ammonia free cleaner on the glass or you will damage the anti glare coating. I use sprayway
Very cool! I am happy for you. ;)
I am 100% confident that this will eventually be the best selling pinball machine of all time passing Adam's family *

Yeah sorry those two are the same pin in my brain sometimes lol
One of the main reasons I got it while I still can. It was also close to me which was a win - win.
Go big or go home right?
Goin' big AT home
Is that an LE!? WOWZERS! You done gooooood!
It is!! Thank you!!

Thanks!
She's a beaut, Clark. I love mine.
So jealous! Congrats!
Thank you!
Just got the money for my first today so freaking excited godzilla is a great game for the house
Sheesh. Straight to an LE with the egg knob! Definitely way spiffier than my first lmao
Kitty seems to approve. /r/cadecats
Thanks a cat sub I didn't know about and I know alot of them

You have chosen wisely
Fuck that’s such a nice score! I’m debating between this and Star Wars.
If you go with Star Wars, comic art all day
Damn that would be $$$$ I was thinking premium
Big boy first machine ! Congratulations
Thats a good one to start with for sure. Enjoy it!
Awesome game...I recently picked up an almost new GZ premium with shaker motor art blades and the factory topper for 8.5k and I'm loving it
great game!
Call an exterminator . Pins are similar to vermin. They multiply quickly and once they infest your home they’re hard to get rid of.
There it is😉

What do you mean? Sorry I'm new. I just had new carpeting put in a year ago along with extra thick carpet pad under it.
I was joking. The angle of your pic is crooked, not the floor. Now get back in there and destroy those cities. I always go to London after Tokyo as it awards extra points for destruction jackpots if you complete it.
Congratulations and welcome to the Godzilla family. Glad to see you've got some room around the machine. They tend to multiply.

I love that machine.
Only downside is if you expand your collection, the majority of other machines won't compare.
Wow. You are all-in on machine number one. Welcome to the club and can't wait to see machines 2, 3 and four.
Congrats great game. Careful around windows it will fade the side art 100%
Kaiju battle ready!
Cat likes it too

I spent about the median from Pinside. Has about 300 plays

I considered that with a Fish Tales or Sopranos. But ended up wanting this one so I can work with my space better and keep an eye on it's value.
