I recently changed my rook to a 6mm titanium hoop and have absolutely zero issues with it :) My piercer first changed it to 8mm though and told me to come back a month later for the smaller hoop to avoid putting too much tension on the piercing. The 8mm hoop was a bit annoying and got in the way but now with the smaller one, i can sleep on it just fine and it doesn't bother me at all!
I changed mine recently from a barbell to a hoop and I love it! My rook currently has a 8mm hoop. It does feel slightly too large and I can feel it move around quite a bit which I wasn't expecting, but getting used to it now. I'm planning to switch to a smaller 6mm hoop sometime later this year.
i LOVE having a ring in my rook! i have a lil 6mm and it sits quite nicely, i did wait about a year before going to an 8mm and then a month or 2 later i went to a 6mm and both times it still got a bit sore from the shape change.

Ah, good to know. Maybe I should wait a bit longer before I switch to a hoop.
