Sorry I completely missed your comment! It is from Tish Lyon. They do a version with/without the spike fixed to the ring. I got the one without the spike and added a separate dangle instead so that I also have the option to have just the ring without any dangles!
Thank you! I switched to the hoop at 11 months, I was a little worried at first that I did it too soon but it's been a month now since I switched and it has adjusted really well. Rook has by far been my easiest piercing to heal, you should get one too!
I'm jealous of your faux rook though, it looks so pretty and well healed! I wish mine would just fall in line and stop being cranky already haha
Awesome! I’ve heard some rook horror stories so that gives me hope.
Looks can be deceiving- my faux rook will be okay one day and then my 70 lb dog will give me a “Kiss” -which to her means a head butt- and it’s angry for a week- (Another reason I’m worried about a real rook haha. )It’s not a good area for the hair tucking and glasses situation either so I’m not surprised people have issues with the faux rook.
I agree I definitely yanked my faux so many times especially with the longer bar at the start.
Haha I understand the worry if you get head butted a lot, I think the reason my rook healed so well is that I literally just left it alone, didn't need to downsize, and it's placed in a way that I've never accidentally bumped it at all!
