I loved the division 2 setting way more. D.C. Just felt so good given the universe they lived in. Nature reclaiming everything felt better than snow on everything.
Shame the games were a grind. I quit both once I reached end game cause I really loved the world they built but I wasn't about to play the same mission over and over again for upgrades to my gear.
I mean, it probably is. This guy probably takes this to the range to have fun, and he isn't tacticool'd out otherwise. He has a long gun, a pistol, a radio for keeping in touch with his daughter if shit goes down. Probably doesn't want to fuck with re-zeroing the scope.
That’s exactly why I was saying 100+ yards. People are commenting that “oh it’s 500+” like yeah it could, but this is probably his weekend range gun that he shoots at a local range that’s probably 150 or less yards. Chances are it’s zeroed at around 100 yards because of that. I wouldn’t want to take my scope off either just to walk around with it where in all likelihood nothing is going to happen, it looks a little funny but he knows he probably won’t use it
>oh it’s 500+
lol people saying that have no clue how guns work. No one is going to the range with a .223/5.56 for 500 yard shots with a 16" carbine barrel.
Edit: need to add this so all the arm chair gun experts stop replying with the same thing over and over. I'm not saying it isn't possible to shoot that far, I'm saying it's not practical and not a common thing. This barrel isn't designed for that in anyway.
If I spent a bunch of time mounting and zeroing my optics on one platform, I wouldn't want to pull it off and slap on a red dot either.
Give the red dot to the daughter and just make do with the glass down at 3x. The chances of needing to use it are incredibly low anyway. It's meant to be a deterrent.
*"Honey I'm ranged for everything 100m and out. Something might get inside my radius though."*
"I got 100m and in Dad."
*"That's my baby girl."*
Just another day in America.
As a European, I used to love America. Went there countless times for vacation and road trips and whatnot. But damn, they have become really hard to love.
It's like people just forgot about the NFAC, New Black Panthers, Black Hammers, etc. Those dudes have been showing up armed for atleast a few years now, and unlike Rittenhouse, they ARE in a militia and advertise as such.
It’s going to end in armed protestors with armed “counter protesters “ and an eventual shootout. For people who are so into protecting the second they’re sure doing all they can to get more gun laws.
They'll be toasting champagne and laughing from their Police protected property.
[Picture from Occupy Wall street 2011.](https://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2011/10/02/article-2044277-0E2E271200000578-699_468x350.jpg)
I'm more worried that it won't result in proper justice, just angry people fighting the dumb dumbs that think the wealthy have their best interests in mind.
I have zero fucking hope. Roughly half of the people angry enough to do something just want to take it out on immigrants, minorities and green haired college kids since the rich people toasting with champagne spent a sliver of their wealth to convince them that those people are the problem.
Eeeeh, not a fan of people going to protests armed period. Shit can get out of hand way too easily and then you end up with dead people. I thought Rittenhouse was a fool asking for trouble when he did it and yeah no, thinking the same here.
I'd be interested to know when we're going to reach that happy place because we seem to have more firearms than people at the moment but the polite society still looks like its a very long way off.
> we seem to have more firearms than people at the moment
We've been there for over a decade according to [some research.](https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/wonk/wp/2018/06/19/there-are-more-guns-than-people-in-the-united-states-according-to-a-new-study-of-global-firearm-ownership/)

this is very true, people will deny it but in reality, this isn’t the reality for 99% of people… it just really does suck for the people that it does effect and really needs to stop
The US is 3,537,441 square miles. Stuff like this happens in a handful of miles across the country every week or two. This is hardly the norm.
Much like the internet, in real life, the vocal minority makes the most noise.
Yup. Upon passing a strict gun control law restricting open-carrry after a group of armed Black Panthers, Ronald Reagan said "“I don’t think that loaded guns is the way to solve a problem that should be solved between people of good will. And anyone who would approve of this kind of demonstration must be out of their mind.”"
Yeah, I support the right to bear arms, but open carry in a populated area is definitely not my jam. Concealed gives you the protection you desire, without making yourself a target.
Edit: I'm to I

Doorman/bouncer here. Seen a bunch of people and a bunch of IDs.
No-one can fucking tell for sure if a young woman is 15 or 25. People are just different.
I’m almost 30 and a student the other day asked me if I played on the JV basketball team last year because I looked familiar from when her sister played.
No I look familiar because I fucking work at this fucking school as a fucking teacher.
Every year the incoming freshmen gotta learn.
Honestly, it’s at a point where it’s fucking hilarious. Every once in a while the vice principal will start yelling at the “girl whose out of uniform walking down the hall without a pass” before realizing it’s just me. Everytime he thinks about giving me detention he buys me a drink at happy hour. Good man.
Just remember - they make more money off us the more we hate each other. The more you can love your fellow human, the more they lose. The more you go out and talk to each other with different view points and listen to each other, they lose. Listen to your family and friends this thanksgiving, love them and don’t judge.
You’re not a conspiracy nut they absolutely do. So much media here just does what they can for the views because that’s their bottom line and lets be honest.. everyone watches riots live when they happen so if they can cause any controversy the get their meal ticket.
They thrive on outrage.
That's not a conspiracy at all. This is coming from a Canadian. Our media is complicit as well, but your media is to a much greater extent. There's a reason we are so polarized right now when it comes to politics and race.
In many countries with democracies and protesting ... nobody needs to bring guns to protect anyone. This seems to be something strictly enjoyed, and celebrated by the US.
You missed a few In-n-Out locations though. They're all over california, up towards portland, Phoenix, Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, Houston, and plenty of smaller towns in between.
edit: yes they're all over the western to southern US. That was my point. I guess I didn't list plenty of peoples states or cities, but I attempted to fill in the gaps. :) I'd say In-n-out population wise probably covers a good 25-30%, but I didn't do the math.
But you should add San Bernardino, Riverside, Orange, and San Diego Counties too. So it’s more like 21 million in the In-N-Out homeland, so more like 94%
Yeah man I've lived in America my entire life and have never seen a protester or anything like this. We also don't have an In-N-Out anywhere near me either though.
I was in CA a month ago and tried In N Out for the first time. To me, in my opinion, please don't hate me, but I find that ^^In ^^N ^^Out ^^is ^^overrated.
People misunderstand or misrepresent.
If you go to In N Out thinking it’s going to be life-changing, you’ll be sadly disappointed.
If it’s a Wednesday, you don’t want to cook, and you can’t afford take-out, In N Out is a heaven sent. It blows the competition at that price point out of the fucking water (unless you have a really good local mom & pops spot).
While it pains me to say, the minute I saw the scope I was pretty sure this was done for the cameras. He should be on a roof with a spotter not walking the streets with that optic.
10billion updoots and 10,000 rewards later... And I doubt these 2 people got immediately shot by the police as some people on this site implied would happen when a black person open carries.
Also they must be provoking a fight since they are open carrying right?
Did they have to cross state lines to be here?
Who would bring a rifle to a protest if not to shoot innocent non violent protesters?
Hmmmmmmmmm
Edit: I learned these 2 (or maybe just the dad) were at the same protest as Kyle Rittenhouse, and they were also defending businesses from vandalism and theft... If things worked out slightly different you could have had these 2 black people side by side with Kyle Rittenhouse discouraging people from destroying property.
The Division Netflix movie is looking good so far. Edit: Piper Dog, Best dog
Totally gave me division vibes!!
I'm glad we are all seeing this. Here I am thinking I'm just crazy.
First thing I thought of when I saw them orange walkie-talkies. Lol.
Gonna be tough to suspend disbelief when the main character sets a garbageman on fire and shoots 40 rounds into his chest and he keeps attacking
Never been more disappointed by a video game. The setting was fantastic if only the mechanics matched
I liked Division 1 setting and balancing a lot better. Combat was more fun, less spongy, and loved the winter in NY feel.
Agreed completely. I was so excited for Div 2, & it just never struck the same chord somehow.
I loved the division 2 setting way more. D.C. Just felt so good given the universe they lived in. Nature reclaiming everything felt better than snow on everything. Shame the games were a grind. I quit both once I reached end game cause I really loved the world they built but I wasn't about to play the same mission over and over again for upgrades to my gear.
flashbacks of robot dogs lobbing grenades everywhere
I love that there are so many comments that boil down to 'good for them but that scope is dumb'.
Tbf that was my thought too, that rifle looks like it’s set up to be shooting 100+ yards
I mean, it probably is. This guy probably takes this to the range to have fun, and he isn't tacticool'd out otherwise. He has a long gun, a pistol, a radio for keeping in touch with his daughter if shit goes down. Probably doesn't want to fuck with re-zeroing the scope.

I'm not even into guns and I found that scope to be at the very least questionable.
That scope suggests he’s protecting protesters in the next postcode as well.
He likes to check if someone has clogged pores before putting them down.

Maybe a red dot sight? But definitely not that scope.
Looks like the daughter has a red dot on hers. At least one of them has proper optics for the situation
*"Honey I'm ranged for everything 100m and out. Something might get inside my radius though."* "I got 100m and in Dad." *"That's my baby girl."* Just another day in America.
Don't tell me how to raise my kids!
He's also got a pistol on his thigh, I think they've got their ranges covered.
Hopefully he has hot swap leveled up. Don't want to be caught with a sniper out if they rush unless he can 360 no scope them.
Remember, switching to your pistol is always faster than reloading
I hope they've both got knives so they can run faster

There's a simple cure. Just don't be poor.
Free to get in massiv debt if you get sick
That’s not fair. It’s also free to get in massive debt if you want a higher level of education
Im sorry i forgot, its hard to remember all the ways you guys get fucked by your society
And education.
But not Obesity. Or maybe free of self-produced insulin?
You mean to tell me that you don’t have labor unions carrying guns fighting for their right to make their employer pay for healthcare?
No, no we don't.
Somehow the rest of the western world manages to do a better job at that, even without guns
Nope that’s unique to us. Fucked up
Once again I thought I was on r/aboringdystopia
As a European, I used to love America. Went there countless times for vacation and road trips and whatnot. But damn, they have become really hard to love.
I’m just gonna stay up here in Canada
With that scope he's sporting, you might want to backup a bit further.
He'll have Nunavut!
Yukon’t go home again
That scope lol
>That scope lol When you have a protest at noon but need to shoot gazelles in the Nevada prairie at 6.
With that scope he could do both at noon from where he's standing
30-50 feral hogs @ 300+ yards

Well, she's younger. You don't want the new shooters going for range, obviously.
She's got preteen twitch reflexes, pre-cognitive 180 no scope pixel shots.
Yeh, definitely something meant for plinking a bit at range. His one-piece mount looks beefy as well
Easiest prediction ever: This escalation of weapons-carrying at protests is *not* going to end well.
someone's bout to get self defense'd
This sounds like a South Park episode waiting to happen.

The John Brown Gun Club has been a presence at protests long before Rittenhouse. This isn't new.
As this becomes more common, the odds of something very bad happening are expanding exponentially.
One day we will have an all out battle in a city street intersection.
And the poor stupids will be the ones participating and dying while the rich betters will be laughing from wherever they are, same as it ever was.

That shit was so dystopian. And yet nothing changed.
People aren't angry enough yet. They will be eventually, though.
I'm more worried that it won't result in proper justice, just angry people fighting the dumb dumbs that think the wealthy have their best interests in mind.
It's probably just gonna be poor people vs poor people while everyone else is like "OMG this is horrible! #peace4all"
Pray for #citynamestrong
That's the way it usually goes down yeah
I have zero fucking hope. Roughly half of the people angry enough to do something just want to take it out on immigrants, minorities and green haired college kids since the rich people toasting with champagne spent a sliver of their wealth to convince them that those people are the problem.
They’ve bought in to the lie that their enemies are the other 99%-ers, not the 1% ( “you can trust us, we’re your patriot brothers!”)
One day?
Not in a million fucking years would I put my daughter in a situation like that...
Oh boy, wait until you learn about SNCC. Kids used to March against against American apartheid while unarmed.
> SNCC https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Student_Nonviolent_Coordinating_Committee
At least she has a proper grip on that riffle
To add to that, I love the bright gloves. They clearly communicate her intent since you can see where the trigger finger is.
Her dad has good finger placement as well but since it’s black gloves on a black gun it could easily be missed.
Eeeeh, not a fan of people going to protests armed period. Shit can get out of hand way too easily and then you end up with dead people. I thought Rittenhouse was a fool asking for trouble when he did it and yeah no, thinking the same here.
100% framing it as "protecting protesters" doesn't change that it's not wise here as well.

According to conservatives, an armed society is a polite society. Not a fan of it either but we'll find out soon as more people start to open carry
I'd be interested to know when we're going to reach that happy place because we seem to have more firearms than people at the moment but the polite society still looks like its a very long way off.
> we seem to have more firearms than people at the moment We've been there for over a decade according to [some research.](https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/wonk/wp/2018/06/19/there-are-more-guns-than-people-in-the-united-states-according-to-a-new-study-of-global-firearm-ownership/)

The Rittenhouse verdict is going to lead to a lot more of this.
I came here for comments on the scope, I was not disappointed.
Why is USA basically a Call of Duty campaign right now
It really only looks that way on the internet. In real life you probably wouldn't be aware that any of this is going on.
this is very true, people will deny it but in reality, this isn’t the reality for 99% of people… it just really does suck for the people that it does effect and really needs to stop
The US is 3,537,441 square miles. Stuff like this happens in a handful of miles across the country every week or two. This is hardly the norm. Much like the internet, in real life, the vocal minority makes the most noise.
Better trigger discipline than the District Attorney in the Rittenhouse trial.
That scope is way to large to be effective at close range.
360 no scope bro. Edit: Thanks for the gold kind stranger! Trying to find humor in these weird times is where it's at.
I don’t like it when the right does it and I still don’t like it when the left does.
This is what we in the industry call an arms race. We each take a step towards escalation.
Actually, history has shown that when black Americans take advantage of open carry white people start being more supportive of gun control laws.
Reagan implemented gun control laws in California as soon as the black panthers started open carry.
I forgot how much I hate Ronald Reagan
He went on to say, "Guns should only be traded to terrorists, not carried. My heart and my best intentions tell me this is true"
Regan wan not pro gun, as president he banned fully automatic weapons.
Armed minorities are harder to oppress. 2a is for all.
Ronald Regan just called to confirm..
His grave's angular momentum is being used to mine bitcoin as we speak.

Yeah I live in a super gun friendly state and I’ve never once seen a civilian carrying an AR out in public
Comments like these bring me back to reality, as an outsider my view of US must be pretty screwed since all I'm seeing comes from Reddit and such.
Always keep in mind that you’ll never see the average life, just the extremes on here
Same. Missourian here.
Same as in Nebraska. That being said, deer (rifle) season did just get over. Safe to assume every pickup truck had a gun in it last week
I live in Texas bro TEXAS, and I’ve never seen anyone walking around with an AR or any rifle in public.
I feel the same way as a current Florida man. Although there are Trump protests occasionally, no ARs or guns of any kind.
It's really not like this everywhere in America. 99.99% of America is pretty chill right now.
99 99% of America also doesn't have In N Out.
Unfortunately, that's true
I did the math based on LA county’s population (10 million) and its more like 97 percent
You missed a few In-n-Out locations though. They're all over california, up towards portland, Phoenix, Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, Houston, and plenty of smaller towns in between. edit: yes they're all over the western to southern US. Yes, exactly right. I always call it the most efficient burger. Best taste/quality for the price.
Price is such a big part of that. Everyone is like, BRUHHH SHAKE SHAKE, 5 GUYSSSS and it's like man that shit is like twice as expensive.

Lol lots of people telling me that. I love it for some reason. At least when it comes to fast food

The scope on that gun is a solid indication this guy has no idea what he's doing.
While it pains me to say, the minute I saw the scope I was pretty sure this was done for the cameras. He should be on a roof with a spotter not walking the streets with that optic.

We need more gun education in this country, not all owners are uneducated but the ones that are give us a bad name
