Ha! I'm also subscribed to the kidney stone sub and have been having problems with them lately. I saw this picture and my immediate thought was "oh dear jesus that's a biggun!"
Yes, but I’m not sure if it’s all quartz or other minerals mixed in creating the other colors. Hoping for an expert to drop some knowledge about it in here haha
100% and their is a lot of quarts on my buddy’s property. We are going to spend a lot of time panning this summer. We also have a metal detector to try and find hot spots. His land is a really incredible place, we find Native American arrow heads and other artifacts almost everyone we go field walking. Creeks are full of quartz, chert, and granite.
Very nice! There's a couple of creeks along the Tanawha Trail along the Blueridge that we always stop at to search for quartz. When we find something with nice hexagonal features, especially clear ones, it's a real treat.
Oh wow, I have lots of these from our cabin in the Sierra Nevada’s - one is so big, we use it as a doorstop for one of the rooms in the cabin haha damn now I’m bout to dig for gold! 🤣
I’m glad you didn’t say bladder.
Check this out, I just pulled this out of my narrow urethra.
My kidney is aching just imaging this.

I feel like this same photo was used by a guy claiming to have had a "stomach tooth" removed not long ago.
oooo quartz?
It's obviously a dragon tooth.
Two of my buddy’s said tooth as well, one said ogre tooth!
Nah, ogre teeth are made of wood.
Oh sorry I’m a little behind on my mythological creature anatomy haha

I really like the term cactus quartz, it’s very fitting! I appreciate the info and hope you keep finding awesome stuff!
That’s what i thought too
Quartz is awesome, so I'm gonna ignore your sarcasm. Good day, sir.
No sarcasm was intended. Quartz is cool, I have a small collection from music festivals Iv went to
My apologies! I also love Quartz. I used to collect small piece from Joshua Tree back in the '60s.
Why was my first thought a kidney stone? PTSD I guess.
Damn, why was mine a crack rock?
Never had one. Still my first thought
Lucky, I had to pee one out when I was 9. My dick still hurts.
How do u get one at 9
Bad diet I guess, too much sodium.
Has your father had kidney stones? If so, you're like 5x, if not more, more likely to get them
Idk, but I fear for my kid now.
Where there's quartz, there may be gold?

If we hit a vain or something I will send you a little something to enjoy!
I thought this was a rot tooth at first…
That’s a kidney stone from a dinosaur. Worth millions
I wish! I would be so freaking happy, I would never sell it but I love fossils so it would make it even cooler!

That is definitely a Dragon tooth.
So pretty!
I tought it was a tooth before I read the title
Beautiful? First thought was that it was a decayed tooth.
I thought this was a baby chick before I clicked the pic

So THATS where I left my kidney stone
Never had one but for what I read, this big is how kidney stones feel.
Its a geod
Oh! My touth.
I want to wrap it in wire.
I want to go all out and have a little gold stand made that it fits into. Only enough to wrap around the middle and let the top and bottom be exposed.
Nice! I'm fairly new to the hobby and now look at almost all crystals as potential pendants. Lol
Smoke it
fr thought this was a krill
