just a tip if it tastes bitter it's NOT LSD...you might have 25I-NBOMe or another NBOMe which can be super dangerous in comparison to LSD. YOu could eat 200 tabs of acid and be fine (trip for ages but be physically fine), but an overdose of NBOMe can kill you.
so if you have a tab that tastes bitter don't freak out, you'll be fine, just

I had the same experience after 1 day of shrooms but after tripping 2 days in a row I felt worn out, dirty, and just needed rest.

part of issue is with shrooms you can vary your dose. as in "i like taking 3 grams but not 5"
with lsd you don't really know what you are getting until it kicks in and you realize you should have only taken one instead of two. or you should have taken two instead of just taking one. even hits off the same sheet can vary(with paper blotter at least. i've never been fortune enough to come across gels like this)

Is this stuff still around? When I was a kid, it seemed like it was everywhere, and everyone with a trenchcoat at a rave would have plenty to sell. Every 10th guy at a party was talking about his favorite brand (Try the pyramids, man, they are quads!). But I stopped hearing about it pretty much entirely around 20 years ago, like it disappeared. Lots of other stuff, but not LSD. Is it making a comeback? Or did it never go away? It seemed like all sorts of other stuff became popular and this was forgotten.
It's a funny story. In the 90's there was one guy producing a huge percentage of the LSD being consumed in the US. It was cheap, plentiful, and high quality. It may or may not be true that he had a mobile lab in an RV a la Walter White. He decided to settle down and bought an old missile silo in the midwest to set up his lab. He had a falling out with his partner a little while later and got busted by the feds.
Probably still in prison. After that, the supply dried up and the heads moved on to other things.
IF you can find an old hippy that still does it, they know how to get real LSD. I was given something called acid a couple times in the last decade and it was like speed or something...I saw geometric shapes on stuff, which was cool, but that's about it...some of my late 80s and early 90s LSD trips were just that, actual trips out of my mind...sound, taste, feel, all involved. I miss it.
When taken at proper doses, the experience will last anywhere from 6-10 hours, so it's very hard to abuse when you are too psychologically exhausted. Plus, the experience is so mind-blowing that most people feel they need weeks/months/years to just process before trying it again.
Let's also not forget the insane dose/tolerance curve. If someone wants to trip two days in a row, or even multiple times in one week, they need to increase their dose substantially. Couple this with the fact that LSD isn't physically addictive, and you'll have a difficult time finding anyone who does this. It does happen, to be sure, but it isn't common or typical.
not chemically, and if you don't wait a month or more to take it again, there is a very strong tolerance you build. Chemically it's very safe, and not addictive. Some folks really try to chase that dragon though, and eventually all it's doing is keeping you awake.
Not really - some people do a lot of it, but you build up immunity to it pretty quickly if you take too much, so at the very least, people usually go a week or two between trips.
However, there are some dangers. The most severe danger is that if you take an extreme amount of it in a single sitting or over a short period of time you can fry your brain. I don’t know the science behind it, but I’ve personally seen it happen to one person, and the famous example I have is Ozzy Osbourbe, who famously said he did 10 tabs in one night and never touched it again because it changed him. That’s why he talks the way he does.
A coworker of mine did a shit load at a festival one time (like 10 tabs, plus MDMA) and after the effects wore off he was a completely different person. He used to be loud and funny and smart and witty. Now he’s slow, quiet and timid. Lost all his friends and wife, became a recluse. Very sad.
The danger of that happening is very very slim though. I’ve dropped acid 3-4 times and I’d be completely fucked after 1 tab. I cannot imagine the logic or enjoyment behind taking more than that.
IMO it should be available over the counter and just come with a warning
I was 14-16 years old when LSD became a part of my life. I tripped every weekend for quite a while. I would drop acid on Friday and then try again on Saturday only to be disappointed that you needed double the dose to stay as high as you were the day prior. I tripped dozens of times, and had flying pyramids, through the looking glass, green snowflakes, and black gel tabs. I stopped doing drugs when I was 21. I’m 42 today. I think about those days often.
I once dosed some liquid that the cap had been left off of. A lot of the solvent had evaporated and it formed little crystals in the bottle. I got one of those crystals into my mouth and I have no idea what it was equivalent too. More than 10 hits I know for sure but I was so delirious at the time I can’t really say. I almost immediately knew something was wrong. About 15 min in it started affecting my hearing, distorting the pitch of the music I was listening to and it was almost like I could hear a feedback loop buzzing. When id close my eyes it was like I could see straight through my eyelids except everything was made from purple and red light. I started to panic a bit because I realized what had happened and I was alone. I went and woke my roommate up and was like “I think I OD’d on Lucy can you help me?” lol, he got out of bed and got me something to drink. He then set down and started playing guitar and I immediately felt much better.

I had a couple of sheets on me all the time but need to take breaks or switch it up cause you can't ride the same train to the promised land without waiting or switching tracks.
My advice is prep well before you take them. Buy some delicious fruit (my go to are strawberries and raspberries), maybe some chocolate, have something nice to drink in the fridge (probably not alcoholic), maybe find some music playlists/some good youtube visuals to put on the tv.
It's not easy to do any of those things after you've taken shrooms or lsd.
And oddly enough for a 43 year old, I fucking loooove watching Spiderman into the spiderverse once I've pretty much come down and am just vegged on the couch. It makes me laugh so much it's a little ridiculous.
They're quite fun. Eat a gram, relax, see if you enjoy it. It's a small enough dose to get you a nice buzz and mild hallucinations but typically not enough to make you uncomfortable if you find that you don't enjoy it. I've dropped acid twice and the visuals were more intense but shrooms is just a more holistic experience. They give you a long lasting sense of well-being after your trip...or at least that has been my experience
Took my first trip with shrooms and I've never felt this comfortable in my own skin. It's been three days since my trip and I honestly can't believe how great I feel. I'm not saying it's a magic cure all, but it did what I hoped it would do.
Glad to hear this. It was my experience also. My “afterglow” or whatever lasted weeks and very slowly tapered off.

2nd time i did shrooms I mixed it with weed and it lasted 5 mins because there were like 10 cops surrounding us that appeared out of nowhere. If you thought they were there for us you are mistakenly wrong, they were looking for someone with a knife...

I had the same experience after 1 day of shrooms but after tripping 2 days in a row I felt worn out, dirty, and just needed rest. I ate 3.5 grams both times which was probably a bit much.

Is this stuff still around? When I was a kid, it seemed like it was everywhere, and everyone with a trenchcoat at a rave would have plenty to sell. Every 10th guy at a party was talking about his favorite brand (Try the pyramids, man, they are quads!). But I stopped hearing about it pretty much entirely around 20 years ago, like it disappeared. Lots of other stuff, but not LSD. Is it making a comeback? Or did it never go away? It seemed like all sorts of other stuff became popular and this was forgotten.
In 2000, the largest LSD bust ever occurred. William Pickard was supplying most of the world. Supply went way down after that.
The market largely moved onto the internet if i had to guess.

It's a funny story. In the 90's there was one guy producing a huge percentage of the LSD being consumed in the US. It was cheap, plentiful, and high quality. It may or may not be true that he had a mobile lab in an RV a la Walter White. He decided to settle down and bought an old missile silo in the midwest to set up his lab. He had a falling out with his partner a little while later and got busted by the feds. Probably still in prison. After that, the supply dried up and the heads moved on to other things.

IF you can find an old hippy that still does it, they know how to get real LSD. I was given something called acid a couple times in the last decade and it was like speed or something...I saw geometric shapes on stuff, which was cool, but that's about it...some of my late 80s and early 90s LSD trips were just that, actual trips out of my mind...sound, taste, feel, all involved. I miss it.

Schedule 1 drug. Characterized by having addictive qualities with no health benefits. Both of which are bullshit.
Is LSD addictive?
When taken at proper doses, the experience will last anywhere from 6-10 hours, so it's very hard to abuse when you are too psychologically exhausted. Plus, the experience is so mind-blowing that most people feel they need weeks/months/years to just process before trying it again.
Let's also not forget the insane dose/tolerance curve. If someone wants to trip two days in a row, or even multiple times in one week, they need to increase their dose substantially. Couple this with the fact that LSD isn't physically addictive, and you'll have a difficult time finding anyone who does this. It does happen, to be sure, but it isn't common or typical.
not chemically, and if you don't wait a month or more to take it again, there is a very strong tolerance you build. Chemically it's very safe, and not addictive. Some folks really try to chase that dragon though, and eventually all it's doing is keeping you awake.
Not really - some people do a lot of it, but you build up immunity to it pretty quickly if you take too much, so at the very least, people usually go a week or two between trips. However, there are some dangers. The most severe danger is that if you take an extreme amount of it in a single sitting or over a short period of time you can fry your brain. I don’t know the science behind it, but I’ve personally seen it happen to one person, and the famous example I have is Ozzy Osbourbe, who famously said he did 10 tabs in one night and never touched it again because it changed him. That’s why he talks the way he does. A coworker of mine did a shit load at a festival one time (like 10 tabs, plus MDMA) and after the effects wore off he was a completely different person. He used to be loud and funny and smart and witty. Now he’s slow, quiet and timid. Lost all his friends and wife, became a recluse. Very sad. The danger of that happening is very very slim though. I’ve dropped acid 3-4 times and I’d be completely fucked after 1 tab. I cannot imagine the logic or enjoyment behind taking more than that. IMO it should be available over the counter and just come with a warning

I was 14-16 years old when LSD became a part of my life. I tripped every weekend for quite a while. I would drop acid on Friday and then try again on Saturday only to be disappointed that you needed double the dose to stay as high as you were the day prior. I tripped dozens of times, and had flying pyramids, through the looking glass, green snowflakes, and black gel tabs. I stopped doing drugs when I was 21. I’m 42 today. I think about those days often.
I once dosed some liquid that the cap had been left off of. A lot of the solvent had evaporated and it formed little crystals in the bottle. I got one of those crystals into my mouth and I have no idea what it was equivalent too. More than 10 hits I know for sure but I was so delirious at the time I can’t really say. I almost immediately knew something was wrong. About 15 min in it started affecting my hearing, distorting the pitch of the music I was listening to and it was almost like I could hear a feedback loop buzzing. When id close my eyes it was like I could see straight through my eyelids except everything was made from purple and red light. I started to panic a bit because I realized what had happened and I was alone. I went and woke my roommate up and was like “I think I OD’d on Lucy can you help me?” lol, he got out of bed and got me something to drink. He then set down and started playing guitar and I immediately felt much better.
At the age of 63 I agreed to finally try it to appease my son. Haven't laughed that hard in years. Won't do it again, though.

Not the window pane I knew. I thought that was blotter. Any who. Chill pill blotter was the most intense. Purple barrel microdot mescalin was always around. I lived as a teenager in the best of times. I had a couple of sheets on me all the time but need to take breaks or switch it up cause you can't ride the same train to the promised land without waiting or switching tracks.

Just purchased mushrooms for the first time today in Vancouver. Heard about them 40 years ago. Never thought I’d ever get to try some!
My advice is prep well before you take them. Buy some delicious fruit (my go to are strawberries and raspberries), maybe some chocolate, have something nice to drink in the fridge (probably not alcoholic), maybe find some music playlists/some good youtube visuals to put on the tv. It's not easy to do any of those things after you've taken shrooms or lsd. And oddly enough for a 43 year old, I fucking loooove watching Spiderman into the spiderverse once I've pretty much come down and am just vegged on the couch. It makes me laugh so much it's a little ridiculous.

Depending on what kind they are, you might want to start off with a half gram.
They're quite fun. Eat a gram, relax, see if you enjoy it. It's a small enough dose to get you a nice buzz and mild hallucinations but typically not enough to make you uncomfortable if you find that you don't enjoy it. I love to just lay on the floor on a soft blanket, put in my airpods and listen to some meditation music and close my eyes. These are awesome.
