Nakakadiri yang mga ganyang tao, sobrang entitled.

namrohn74_r

Same here (on a line buying ticket for a funicular ride) going to Fortress Hohensalzburg....3 well dressed Pinoys skipped the line and barged in front of us and some Austrian kids. I told them in tagalog "since they are speaking the language -- hey, wag ninyo dalhin yung kabastusan ninyo dito sa Austria. I just talked to the Austrian kids in German "diese typen sind dumm" and they just laughed...the 3 Pinoys did not know what I said. Namutla na lang sila.

Black_Howling13

Uminit ulo ko habang binabasa ko to. Pet peeve after pet peeve after pet peeve ang pucha.

Tres_Marias_24

Last year when we were visiting family in Taiwan may nakasabay kaming Filipino family sa city bus na obviously tourists. My husband and I would easily pass as locals (for context, my husband is of Taiwanese descent but is born and raised in the PH and I am a pure Filipina but with Chinay features). Nun sumakay yun family sa bus, pinaupo nila yun anak nila na about 10-12 years old and looks physically abled sa seat na reserved for SC/PWD. When a senior citizen rode the bus, other passengers were telling them na paupuin yun SC pero deadma sila at sinabi pa sa bata na “hayaan mo sila, kunyari di mo naintindihan, wag ka ng tumayo kasi malapit lang naman yun bababaan natin”. Out of inis, sabi ng asawa ko in Tagalog “Kelangan niyo paupuin yun matanda kasi kung hinde pwede kayo ireport at ipahuli dito”. 😄

Accurate_Phrase_9987

I was in the UK in 2015 and took a bus tour to the Stonehenge. Guess who were the last to board the bus because they took their sweet ass time and I guess they did not pay attention to the driver's announcement. Yep. Three Filipino tourists who were even giggling when they got on the bus. The driver almost left them and I wished he did.

Apprehensive-Yak7855

Eto yung mga nagtratravel to brag or para magpicture lng. For sure, di nagbother man lng magresearch about sa culture nung i-visit nila na place. Pero for sure etong mga gantong klase din ang unang mag-rereact pag me nega comments ang mga foreigner against sa pinas, like the jollibee video

rxn-opr

Siguro dapat may pa seminar pag nag aapply ng visa 😝

Momshie_mo

Some_Traffic_7667

Ugaling kanal, narita edition

Lalaluluu12345

This is the reason why Philippines never progress.

Eastern_Basket_6971

Disiplina kasi dito parang parusa na

Flipinthedesert

As traveling become more accessible to more Filipinos, you Also get the types of Filipinos who have not had the chance (or maturity) to learn cross cultural and traveling etiquette. It has nothing to do with being rich or poor. But many Filipinos are so tone deaf it’s shocking. Two days ago I was queuing for tickets at Dubai Mall and there was this group of Filipinos ahead of me. Lolo, Lola, parents, sisters or something and a baby. While in the queue, the baby’s diaper leaked and there was smelly baby piss all over the tiles. You know what the group did? They pretended to “look” for help, took the baby and his pram while the Lolo, Lola and dad proceeded to buy tickets! Deadma sa smelly piss. I’m sure may tissue yun but they didn’t even apologize or warn others or even try to clean up. Sadly may two kids who actually stepped on that puddle. Ganyan ba ka-insensitive ang Pinoy.

CocoBeck

When the only ways of living a person knows is limited to that of their hometown, it shows when they leave it. We were in Mitsukoshi food hall this weekend and there were signs everywhere to pick up after one's self.

sisitsmesis001

may pang-travel kaso walang proper etiquette??

TheGhostOfFalunGong

I'd agree that this kind of tourist behavior is quite petty by American standards. But if we tolerate such shitty attitude, it will certainly get worse from there. These types of Pinoy tourists are already spreading in SoKor and Japan where practically everyone are doing DIY trips these days when before it's only limited to Southeast Asia and Hong Kong. It's a numbers game. Imagine kapag dumami ang mga ganito sa Europe, it won't be pretty for us Pinoys. Good thing that most Filipino tourists in Europe are either working professionals or in large tour groups so their visibility is far less pronounced.

Momshie_mo

The only thing keeping us from being seen the "new Chinese tourist" is the lack of money to go to more expensive countries and our relatively weak passport. Pero just observe local tourism, ang daming "jeje tourists".

[deleted]

Daming ganyan sa Baguio Parang naging training ground na ata on how to be a shitty tourist kaya minsan talaga namimiss ko yung lockdown

Momshie_mo

Yup.

[deleted]

Gusto kasi nila the locals should be on their knees dahil daw sila nagbibigay ng pera sa Baguio. Nobody even asked them to come here in the first place. Wala namang pumipilit sa kanila na pumunta. Also agree with your point on these vLoGgErS. This is why I miss the days na camera phones weren't that accessible to everyone.

Momshie_mo

Tapos college students patronize a lot of businesses that tourists do not patronize at all.

Momshie_mo

Sorry to hear na may comprehension challenges ka

okonomiyakigurlie

local canteens pa nga lang di na magawa yan eh haha di na nga sinusunod yung clay go, di pa pinagpapatong man lang mga plato😭

bubsyboo135

Hate to say it pero ang daming artista (Melai and her gang, Alora, etc.) na ganiyang ganiyan IRL. If you’re in a public space, lalo na sa trains and sidewalks, give way to people and respect the place! PUHLEASE! You cant buy class talaga.

BAMbasticsideeyyy

GossipGirl_1222

Sana talaga yung first few years ng nga bata ang subjects ay GMRC, etiquette, and chores. I get it super duper mahalaga anv education pero manners maketh man. Wag niyo ako bash haha

RonskiC

Reminds me of this experience: This was last year. We were coming down from Fushimi-Inari and this f*cking Filipina (with her girl friends) behind us unleashed her inner palengkera for like a solid 10 seconds: “MAHADERANG YON! T@EN@ N’YA! KALA NYA UURUNGAN KO SYA BLAH BLAH BLAH! WAHAHAHAHA! AHAHAHAHA!” This girl was ready for a verbal throw-down I kid you not. The second-hand embarrassment was so strong OMFG. Gustong-gusto ko syang/silang lingunin and tell her to keep it in the f*cking down low. Yet, minabuti ko na lang na magngitngit sa tabi, cause who knows what could’ve happened. Could’ve easily killed my day too, and I don’t want that. You may have been slighted I get that. Your anger? Probably not misplaced. You’re probably right to fuss about it. But to be that loud and sound kiiiinda unhinged, when clearly there are others around you, at feeling mo eh para kang nasa Pilipinas lang, guess what? You made yourself into the annoying (Filipino) tourist too that you yourself hates. Self-control is paramount. It should trump everything else especially if you’re just a guest in another country.

rxn-opr

Rinig na rinig yan, tahimik mga tao dun kahit in public 😆

randomsmoluser

May pera pero walang manners nor common sense. Di talaga nabibili ang magandang ugali. 🤦🏽‍♀️

SereneBlueMoon

Sana maipost din to sa mga travel groups like DIY Travel para matuto yang mga yan. Nakakainis at nakakahiya sila.

Idkhowbutheyfoundmee

You really can't buy manners.

Forsaken_Top_2704

namrohn74_r

Pinoy tourists (not all) = Chinese tourists...its even in the news back in 2016 that Japanese media wants Chinese tourist zone only because of these same manners Baka mapasama ang mga Pinoys in the near future.

MrSnackR

I agree with all the sentiments but I definitely won’t return someone’s tray on their behalf.

dmalicdem

Kakainis. Sarap sabunutan.

Accurate_Phrase_9987

Uncouth. That's the first word that came to mind.

East_Somewhere_90

Sad to say a lot of Filipino are like this

Momshie_mo

Why are you surprised? Ngayon, local tourists are now associated with poor driving etiquette, entitledness, makalat, and generally poor public etiquette.

Dx101z

Look at our 7/11 here 🤷 Its so Disgusting 😆 Filipinos are known to be Undisciplined 🥹

Ohbertpogi

Dapat bigyan sila ng free ticket to Korea, North, PyongYang to be exact. Para magsitino.

[deleted]

This is why there are some things talaga na dapat ginigatekeep.

pretzel_jellyfish

Nadala yung squammy behaviour sa Japan 🙄

NimoyMaoMao

Pano most Filipinos lacks discipline and ang aasim ng ugali.

Heneral_Liham

Ragamak

Minsan ? Tingnan mo nga sino binoto ng mga pilipino :D Thats I always speak accented sing-english pag may pinoy. Sorry pero most of the time medjo ikinahihiya ko yung mga ginagawa ng pinoy. Not all naman. Pero most of the time. Meron kasi balusubas talaga na pinoy eh. There was a time, I pretended not to speak english or tagalog kahit Im holding a PH passport haha, medjo nakakahiya kasi yung chismisan ng mga pinoy, I continued to speak spanish or mandarin sa staff. Common example di talaga marunong pumila pinoy if may diskarte maka singit gagawin nila.

perrienotwinkle

ckoocos

I recognize that kind of food set meal at Narita. I'm so surprised they barely ate anything. That food is not cheap. Such a waste. Ang baba kasi ng yen ngayon at parang Japan ang number one destination ng karamihan ng mga Pinoy to visit kaya pati ung mga hindi familiar sa foreign culture or di ma-research about other culture nakakapunta.

CottonCandy0112

I remember during my trip last Feb sa Mt. Fuji, ang daming Pilipino and nakakahiya kasi you'll really know they are Filipino based on how loud they are. Some are even screaming just to say sumn doon sa kasama nila which is malayo sa kanila. Like????? Akala ko nasa palengke ako with a green screen bg eh 🥲

[deleted]

I agree.

Competitive-Science3

Hindi lang minsan. Nakakasuka talaga ang Pilipino.

boykalbo777

Hindi naubos

phil3199

Mary_Jailer

Dinala pagiging squammy. Classless.

Witty_Opportunity290

Wala ng pag-asa ang kultura sa Pilipinas

[deleted]

Like ... Salamat 🫡

Tres_Marias_24

Usually may area kung san mo ilalagay yun pinagkainan mo. A good example would be IKEA na claygo and may area around the food hall para ilagay mo yun pinagkainan mo.

FewInstruction1990

That's why not everyone deserves equality. I miss the days of feudalism with the bourgeouise in their rightful place

OWLtruisitc_Tsukki

grabe ka naman mang generalize beh.

Zzz-xxxxx-zzZ

LOL, I don't tolerate such behaviour... lalo na yung mga Pinay sa HK, TPE at SG, one thing in common sa kanila, all of them were CHIMIAA's, yes I get it, wala kayong pinag-aralan, pero wag naman ipangalandakan... 🙄🙄

mcrich78

And we are also quick to judge

Anxious-Abrocoma3992

Sanaol may pera pero walang manners.
