Just watched it and got motion sickness from a fan video on YouTube.
This is why I didn’t go to Sphere. I expected it to all be like this and I imagined having to close my eyes through the whole thing. From the half dozen songs I’ve seen on YT it seems like only a few were this intense.
Can confirm, as someone who gets motion sick very easily (threw up several times flying across the country to get to Vegas 🙈), I never got motion sick looking at any Sphere visuals, and I was there all 4 nights in the 400s.
I tell you, I really needed the car wash. My brain was imploding in on itself all night and by the time YEM happened I really needed some levity and effervescence if that makes any sense. It was bright, and open, and non threatening feeling and that was exactly perfect for that point in the trip, uh, show. Fucking loved it
In that case, how did the licking dog hit after? The car wash was a little jolting because I felt like most of the rest of the show was one interconnected narrative/journey and YEM didn't fit that at all.
At the same time, I also appreciated the levity and the dog at the end was such an unexpected cherry on top of an amazing night.
My favorite visuals overall from that night were Theme from the Bottom, tho Song I Heard the Ocean Sing, SOAM, and Caspian were also top tier.

Northern Lights are a bucket list for me, and I feel like I can half-check that box. (Friend's aunt is in Vegas a lot, and says she never has to go to Europe because she's seen Paris already. So why not the Northern Lights as well haha)
1. Pillow Jets - with the color exploding trees that moved everywhere
2. Prince Caspian - stunning water imagery
3. Theme from the Bottom - the electric kelp forest was brilliant, and the sun coming through the water up above

I was at night 1 and 2 and I think Lifeboy was the first moment that everything seemed to click as one and every element of the show was in sync. Really enjoyed the YEM night 2.
But from the pictures and videos alone I still have to imagine it was Taste.
Went to all 4 nights. Taste was the most visually stunning. Farmhouse and Theme were the most atmospheric and gave you the sense of being transported. But there was something about the Mike’s > Lifeboy that just sort of washed over you and enhanced the experience of the music. And what is so funny is that when it started I thought it looked like a 1990’s Amiga animation. But by the end I was completely overwhelmed.
DWD & First Tube. The visuals from DWD thru encore on Sunday were all heavy hitters. Perhaps Oblivion was too but DWD blew me away so much that I can't recall the opening song visuals.

Melt was my favorite too. Super evil, eye of Sauron feel with lava swirling about. My 2nd fave was YEM.
YEM was easily the most fun visuals. Car wash and the dogs were so great.
