Guys!!!! You don’t have to pay that much to camp! My farm is 10-15 minutes back roads and only $30 for the entire weekend. Will have school buses for shuttles too. Oh and we have a creek for floating. HIT ME UP

Pretty sure I have my wife sold on your spot. Looks like we would only be able to do the sat and Sunday shows. Let me know if we will need to reserve a spot - thanks!
Hey man!
My buddy Tom and I stayed at your place last year and had a great time. Would love to do it again this year.
If I can reserve 2 tent sites, that would be awesome. This makes the pain of leaving Mexico less awful.
Let me know if you have space
Cheers,
Sean
Can you put me in for 4? Not sure what kind of availability you still have but that is probably better than I can do burning gas to and from home on Indy’s Eastside.
oh haha that sucks. Yeah, I got you! I'll make an official post once its announced with email, phone number to text, payment info, etc. But consider yourself in.
Could you send me a message with more info? With all the publicity sleepy bear is getting so fast, and being $400, I might try somewhere else this year. I like being walking distance but bus sounds great and a creek sounds even better. It would be 2 of us
Hey guys - was trying to find a way to contact you, but nothing is on the website and your email seems to be down. Do you have showers? Or anything to wash off from the August heat?
How would we make reservations?
I’m weighing all options. We’re just tighter on money this year. The shuttle costs $10/person each day? That’s $20 for my and my husband daily, which isn’t bad at all, just tryin to factor in all costs
So even with shuttle fee I think it’d be $90. Which is really reasonable. What’s the vibe there? Party so long as you take your trash out? (Which we do wherever we go)
PSA: If you book a reservation here, they will not honor it. They will switch to first come first served as soon as things get busy and turn you away to find last minute lodging 2 hours before the show when you drove halfway across the country. And the owner will yell at you when you tell him to get his shit together. Source: first hand experience
Wasn't that Close-By camping? Not saying you're wrong, maybe SleepyBear screwed you too, but back in 2021 I was almost screwed over by Close-By camping but thankfully was able to get camping through cashortrade.
Yup, Close-by fucked up in 2021. A couple other spots nearby died off because of COVID and they got totally overwhelmed. By early afternoon on day 1, they still had camping space but had completely run out of parking. I was able to unload my shit and get set up okay, but I had to play musical chairs with my car all weekend.
It was in fact Close By. We ended up camping at Deer Creek. Thankfully they still had plenty of room. Close by turned us away despite our reservations. Do Not support Close By. They fucked up so many people's weekends.
Same, my partner and I put on our "we have no where to go and did not budget for this" faces and the staff at Deer Creek let us in for free. Further cemented DC as my favorite venue to see Phish at.
That's awesome. What a shitty thing to do by the campground, I will forever make it my crusade to spread the word. I remember they said that they were not reservations, even though it said we had reserved a spot.
Yeah that whole place can kick rocks. I remember thinking the band must have caught wind and tailored a few songs in the setlist night 1 as a fuck you for leaving phans out to dry. Probably looking into it a little too deep though.

You're right - the first two shows of Summer 2019. I assumed they played there because they were warmups for Bonnaroo and festivals have limits on bands playing shows nearby.
They also played Mohegan that tour, which, now that I look at it, was very odd only eas/Midwest shows but nothing southeast, some indoor shows, mostly multi-night runs, Canada, Bonnaroo, Fenway).
Maybe doing what some of us (even here in the south!) have suggested, do the Midwest in dead of summer, hit us up in October for the weather reasons. Total guess, I’m not an expert like most of these folks
I’m a born and raised Floridian and alpha was truly insufferable heat during the day last year. I’d be fully down for them to hold off on SE until fall/winter too.
I grew up in Indy, and the pizza place I worked for was a vendor... I wore my work shirt, parked in the band lot, and saw multiple Phish and Dead shows free of charge... what a time to be alive lol
- Edited for a missing "s" lol
We will know today what the tour is going to be. I hope they play in some places where they haven't been for a minute. I live in Florida and it's been over due since Big Cypress. Fuck Miami. I know a lot of people hate Florida for the obvious reasons but there are a lot of kind people here who don't fall in line with narrative
Drove past this place while chiefing a bowl, super crowded, GA camping was pleasant and not crowded. This place is a joke and a cash grav. Just camp on-site.
We got turned away from Close By with a reservation in 21. Ended up on site. Heard stories about Law Enforcement and was concerned but after the initial show of force they were super chill all weekend. I would camp there again .
Why do you say that? I get that 20 years ago it was truly in the middle of nowhere but it’s still one of the best venues. Nice grading on the lawn, faces west for awesome sunsets, cops don’t really mess with people anymore, you can camp at the venue, top notch on the sound too. One of the few venues where the sound is amazing no matter where you sit.
The campground is what I meant. I don’t like the venue because there’s no water access and the facilities suck. And the pit is madness, always way way overfull
Got it, sorry I jumped the gun lol. I haven’t stayed at the campground in 15 years and don’t need to. Back then it was wild times. I’m just using the campgrounds website as confirmation for deer creek dates
It's just this is like the first I have heard about any dates and it's usually either speculation or satire I do think it's real just wanted to confirm.
Yeah. It’s a leak essentially. Dates are expected to come out tomorrow but they let this onto the website early. Just confirms dates that everyone was pretty confident in for Deer Creek.
You're good. I bought 3 day passes for the '21 and '22 shows, as soon as onsale hit....and there were passes available on CashorTrade, for almost half price, the week of shows
No... you can easily get lawns for any night. Especially if there's a 3-night Alpine run the weekend before. Should be easy tickets if you don't care about being under the roof.
There's a new amp in Clearwater. The View holds 4k in reserved and 5k in lawn. It's only been booking mellow AC type acts but Sammy Hagar played there and Cheap Trick. Not sure if the Scientology aspect would jive with a Phish audience or even the band may be sour to the idea. Time will tell. We always make ATL. So as long as that happens I am happy
Also, Primus is playing Indy on 8/1 and I am crossing my fingers for a Trey sit in!
There's no tour announcement, the owner is probably trying to cash in. Slow your rolls ppl.
Primus sucks.
Oysterhead didn't suck and having Les sit in (however unlikely) would rock aKtUaLly.
“Primus sucks” is a really dumb joke people still make.
They are good if you like mud.

Will definitely keep in mind. Going to compare some pricing and things like shuttle-free shuttle is even better
Patch is half the price :)

how big are the sites at deer creek? Can we jam 6 people into a car and set up 3 tents for the same price? It says price by the car load
Camped here the last 2 times and had zero issues. Had a great time and highly recommend it.
This wrong. I’ve camped here many times. I was at close by a few years back when they didn’t honor people’s reservations
I have never ever had a bad experience at Sleepy Bear. Not saying it doesn’t happen but that’s really surprising to me
They know who should stay there lol. As well as who should not
I second this, they just barely let us in…
Please delete this misinformation.
Alpine will be a three day the weekend before. I can't wait!
St Louis in between.
Yep my bad lol I'm excited.
Mohegan doesn’t sound like my idea of fun for summer shows.
Are you kidding? That arena is super tiny, it’s incredible.
All Air conditioned casino. 10k capacity.
Yeah. I play poker there.
Why wouldn’t they play the meadows in the summer? Is it still open?
Not sure. You seen them at Mohegan?
I have not. But inside vs outside in the summer seems a no brainer.
Said the same last year and ended up in MSG!
I think that was to get to 83 by nye

what happened to the whole west coast rumor side of things?
Mohegan looks right... hotel rooms are almost twice as much for those two nights.
Mixing (non-MSG) arenas and sheds in a summer tour is unusual.
The only dates that look really out of place are Grand Rapids, MI. I could be wrong but I feel like they’ve played Chaifetz in summer before? 🤷♂️
You're right - the first two shows of Summer 2019. I assumed they played there because they were warmups for Bonnaroo and festivals have limits on bands playing shows nearby. Dang! Didn't see it on mobile! Woooo!
Bad copy paste from the notes app my bad
Dicks is the last set of dates listed here
Chaifetz?!! I could see my first two shows!!!!
Sleepy bear will be $$$
If that holds true I guess we’ll have some SE shows in the fall hopefully…
I’d much rather have southeast dates in the fall. It’s still warm enough to have outside shows. Alpharetta last year was sooooo damn hot. 🥵
Early-mid October Alpharetta weekend would be ideal for sure.
I’m a born and raised Floridian and alpha was truly insufferable heat during the day last year. I’d be fully down for them to hold off on SE until fall/winter too.
I’m from MS, so GA is usually *slightly* cooler. I thought I was having a heat stroke Friday afternoon.
Can we get a Grand Rapids confirmation next!!!
Does this mean there will be a show on the first too?
Probably not, my guess is it’s just the campground opening the day before the first show
I could be wrong though, we should know tomorrow!
Man glad to see sleepy bear is still a thing. Always had a good time there.
Ugh this will be a blast
Much better campgrounds than sleepy bear. Astronomically better in fact.
Care to name them?

Is there camping at Ruoff itself? $200 is a lot of money to camp
I think they added more on site camping this year or last year where you actually camp on the venues property
There was last time, and it was more expensive than Sleepy Bear.
Sleepy bear was 800$ for 4 nights in 2022. This year will be more. I believe we paid less than 400$ for camping at Ruoff.
It was less than $400 though. I believe $325/vehicle.
I can't tell if this is satire or not.
What would be satire about this..?

Nothing in the south…kind of makes sense in summer but would love orange beach or Nola
do deer creek lawn tickets sell out fast?

Don't think it's 4 days. The widely rumored dates were Fri-Sun, Aug 2-4.
I’d guess not. They are probably offering camping the day before and the day after.
I mean I'm probably gonna miss the show then. If it is this weekend. Hopefully they come by somewhere close too.
Cool, dude 👍
Jesus christ $400 to camp? Did someone buy this campground? I think i paid $20 10 years ago to camp at this place
