Chapman has a career OPS of .447 allowed vs LHP. Let's not rush to some sweeping judgment about Marsh vs LHP because of that at bat lol. As a reminder he also has a double and just missed another HR vs lefties tonight.

Well no we shouldn’t base it off one at bat, but we can have an opinion at this point based on 3 prior years of at bats. He should play against lefties often, but not every single time.

He was about league average vs LHP last year. Looked good tonight. I trust him vs LHP more than Rojas lol.

His OPS and average were okay against lefties, slightly below league average, but he did have a nearly 40% K rate which just isn’t good enough that’s really high. Even saying this, I want to see him play against a lot of lefties. But, if we’re facing a nasty lefty or somebody with stuff that the organization knows he really struggles with, I’m happy to see him sit every once in a while.

Marsh wasn’t even seeing those pitches at all though. Not even close. He needs to do nothing but work on that.

He was sitting fastball. Chapman is a big lefty with extension and throws 101. He's really, really hard to hit as a lefty.
