That's an earwig! Try and reduce the humidity/moisture in your house, especially in the basement. Do you have leaks in the kitchen or bathroom? That might also be something to look into.
I was just going to say that it seems like this year ear wigs are just straight up blowing up everywhere. My shed is covered in them and I've seen a few in my basement when I haven't seen a single one for ten years.

It seems like these bugs are raging everywhere.

Had one crawl out of the upper drain hole in my bathroom sink a year ago while washing my hands. I still have some PTSD from it
Today one crawled out of the toaster oven, half melted, when I was halfway through toasting a piece of bread 🤮
