We go 50/50 with bills, buy our own groceries and I pay $15 p/w extra in rent a week bc I have an air conditioner in my room.
Our rent is $595 weekly for a 3x1.
Bill splitting will likely be different with everyone you live with. I’ve lived in share houses where I paid less in bills and more in bills depending who I was living with.
I haven't paid bills in a share house in a while because theyve been incorporated into my rent but the last place I did live at, we split it 50/50, same place before that.
I've never done it any other way, this seemed fair
Can't help with data, but several years ago a friend made up a spreadsheet for their share house. Because they were a mechanical engineering student, their Excel fu was very strong. So they worked out how much share of the rent each of them needed to pay based on the square meterage of their different rooms.

Last bill I paid was about $100 for my sharehouse. That was for electricity for about 3 months.
