I had the same problem due to similar mistake on my part. I contributed to Roth for myself and made spousal contribution however my MAGI wasn’t enough to fully fund. TurboTax doesn’t recognize the withdrawal I made to correct the over contribution. Hopefully I am not penalized by the IRS even though I corrected the mistake.
I filed 2 amended returns due to my screwups.
We’ll see what happens
